Dinner and a show at China Bell Sure you'll pay extra for extra sauce, and there's a minimum on credit card purchases, but the entertainment is included. At China Bell, you get both decent Chinese food, all the while watching the owner and the staff taking the customers to task. You know what kind of place this is because of the wall to wall signs. There's even a sign if you get the wrong order. Basically, don't even think about bringing it up. Special order? Nope. It comes as it comes. They don't save the sass just for customers. That's a carry over from the work environment. The food is okay. What you expect from a strip mall Chinese place. If you're not expecting much, and have a good sense humor, this is the place for you. Come for wonton. Stay for show.

burnt Teriyaki chicken in the bag. 3 orders all burnt cost about $18 that they thought it was ok to sell.

The Lo mein tasted like hairspray and I lost my appetite for my Szechuan chicken. Now I am sad.

Ah, China Village...walked into this place and immediately thought I was in a food court of a mall…read morein 1993! From the lights, to the furniture, prices and of course the picture board menu above the counter. Everything about China Village screamed old school and also "this about to be good"! Sitting in a small, worn out shopping plaza just off of Highway 41/Dickerson, China Village is a solid spot for cheap, plentiful and tasty Chinese takeout. It is not much to look at and if you can get past the bars on the windows, you are in store for a treat. Delivery is not offered currently and you can technically eat in, but while there are tables there, it is not really set up for a good dine-in experience. I rang them up on a Friday evening to order (2) Sesame Chicken plates and (1) Large Wonton Soup. From order to arrival was about 20 minutes, and it was hot and ready! Overall, we are new to this side of town and while the whole "no delivery" thing is a bummer, China Village is definitely our go-to spot for a cheap and tasty Chinese night in.

In my 31 years on this earth, I can safely say this is the worst hot and sour soup I've had. I…read morereally wish I didn't tip over 40%. The one star has nothing to do with the fact that I had to make my gun accessible in my car, because of the hood rats walking around. This soup should be illegal. It looks like they used a little bit of the sewage as part of the recipe. I hope inspection comes by and shuts this place down. They don't deserve to be open another day. Absolutely disgusting and disgraceful, tossing the whole order out.

My 3-year-old literally asks to go to Rice Box lol. Anything I've ever ordered there was delicious. I usually get the sweet-and-sour chicken with hibachi rice, but their hibachi was amazing, too. Highly recommend!

I wanted to keep this place a secret but it is too good not to share with everyone. As you walk in…read morethe server instantly guides you to a table, each time I come the service is pretty quick and there is usually no wait. The prices are very reasonable & parking is not hard to find as it is located in a plaza with Kroger right next to it. Everything in the menu is worth trying. There is not a single thing I have ordered that I have regretted. When I first came here I would only order the seafood noddle soup. The flavor from that soup is something I have never experienced before and my taste buds have always been satisfied with that soup, but the more I go the more I try something new and each time I don't regret it! That's so rare for everything in a menu to hit?! Some other entrees I have tried are loved are the sweet and sour chicken, beef yaki udon, Thai basil fried rice, pad Thai noodles, and the Singapore beef mei fun noodles. The appetizers all are incredible too some of my favorites are the crab Rangoon's, coconut shrimp, scallion pancakes, and the shrimp shu mai. The Thai iced tea is a must here! I get it every single time I visit.
