    Very inexpensive for a buffet.

I like a good Chinese Buffet and this one was the only one in the area. I was hoping they improved since the last post. Nope. Almost all the Food was luke warm. I was flying out of town that night. Fortunately i did not get sick. Food was not being replaced when it was out or scraps and sauce were left at the bottom of the pan. Very disappointing.

    Empty! For over an hour!

They are closed for good. Just kept getting worse. It always had folks in there. The large families coming in letting therr children at the buffet was really sicking, children using there hands to get food off yhey bar. Putting food back on the serving area.

Decent enough for a Chinese buffet though the Chinese stuff on the line was drenched in sauce or you were digging through vegetables to get to the meats. Lots of non-Chinese stuff up there for the folks who prefer lasagna, roast beef, sausages or cheese pizza. A reasonable sushi table though most of the maki rolls were either fried or loaded in sauces. The nigiri included salmon, tuna, shrimp and crab stick but these were not restocked while I was there. The rice was a bit dried out, which is the usual experience with a Chinese place that tries to do sushi. The chocolate fountain was interesting. And there was self-serve ice cream.

So much good food! This place has everything! They have of course the normal Asian buffet foods plus some things I've never seen before at any other buffets, plus a Hibatchi Station and a Sushi station and don't forget about the huge chocolate fountain! Even my Sprite tasted extra good today! For the families that have that one picky person, there is a station just for American food. Oh and of course they have pizza. What buffet doesn't? :) The staff was great. Everything on the bar was full and hot and fresh. The sushi chef was spot on! Had to tip the Hibatchi chef. My fav!!! If you've never tried this place you don't know what you're missing!!

We stopped here while on a business trip. It's definitely a good place to grab lunch at a reasonable price. Especially if you are with a lot of people or people who want different things! I was surprised by how many options they had. There were multiple hot food bars, a sushi bar, a cold food bar as well as desserts. My favorite was the hibachi station. Here you can fill your plate with a number of different options on a buttet style line, from noodles and meats to veggies and sauces. They cook it on a large grill in front of you. (a sped up version of a traditional hibachi experience) I really liked the cook that was there, he was nice and remembered my preferences when I went up. I was also able to customize my meal per my dietary preferences which was nice. The rest of the food was good, what you would expect from Asian buffet restaurant. The main appeal was the options offered. It was also about $10 for lunch and included a soda. This is the type of restaurant where you pay at the entrance and help yourself. There are staff around filling drinks and clearing plates, but they are not engaged in the traditional server role.

Checking this place out next weekend. What's the best time to go when trying to avoid a crowd?

This is probably the best buffet in the Nashville area. More items than anywhere else and most of the stuff is very good. My favorite way to eat there is to load up a plate and hand it to the grill man. The best time ? Eleven o'clock AM, or Three PM

The restaurant is on the smaller side with a mix of table seating and counter seats overlooking the kitchen. I'd definitely recommend making a reservation because it filled up quickly. Even though the restaurant was packed, the noise level was perfect--we could still have a conversation without shouting. The bar service for drinks was a little slow, but the staff kept us updated throughout and were incredibly friendly. Everyone was hustling--they handled check-ins, took orders, ran food, and kept everything moving despite how busy they were. The food completely exceeded my expectations. The ahi toast and seared yellowtail were absolute must-orders. Both had incredible flavor, and the fish practically melted in your mouth. The cucumber salad was fresh, flavorful, and a great appetizer while we waited for our drinks. The dumplings took quite a while to come out (they actually arrived after our hot pot), and while they were tasty, they weren't nearly as memorable as everything else we ordered. The shabu shabu was outstanding. We chose the miso broth with the NY strip, and the portion was huge! There was more than enough food for the three of us to happily share, and everything was fresh and delicious. Our cocktails were excellent and well worth the wait. Overall, Kosho delivered a fantastic dining experience with amazing food, friendly service, and a fun atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

A good amoutn of tables, but does not feel too crowded. To get Shabu Shabu, you either sit at the bar or you grab a table that is condusive to shabu shabu. If you have multiple people ordering shabu shabu with different broths, you should grab the bar. The New York strip is better than the short rib, in my view. I did the miso broth, which is not overly salty, like some. A definite win for me. Adding in the spicy chile oil, fresh garlic, and scallions added the proper kick to the broth. The handroll was truly a handroll. She said she preferred when they sent it out rolled, as there was more rice than she normally likes. But the salmon itself was done well and tasty. The lamb lollipops were excellently done. I would return for this alone. Having numbers on the drinks is likely authentic, but I love creative names. The 35 is a Japanese twist on an Old Fashioned. The sishito pepper is a nice touch as a garnish (or appetizer?). The 34 was even better. It did not quite hit the high note of a similar drink at Sushi-San, but it did not disappoint. I can safely recommend this to anyone wanting to get shabu shabu without the all you can eat buffet option you get at shabu shabu on West End.

We started off with a round of champagne and a bottle of red wine for dinner. We tried a variety of dishes since we were told that the set up is family style: Hamachi Crudo: 10/10 one of the best I've ever had! Super fresh and the sauce paired well with it. Bluefin Tune Crudo: 8/10 It was really fresh and well prepared, but I've had better elsewhere. I typically prefer bluefin tuna sashimi or nigiri anyway. Tuna Crispy Rice: 9/10 This was such a fun and delicious way to eat spicy tuna! All of the seasonings made it packed full of flavor. Tomahawk Ribeye 9/10: This was insanely tender, and well seasoned. Tip: ask for lemon wedges to sprinkle some lemon juice on it--thank me later. Broccolini 8/10: well prepared, and I loved the lemongrass garlic chili that topped it East Side Shrimp 7/10: These were well cooked and well seasoned. Loved the salad placed underneath it. Wagyu Tartare 8/10: It was well prepared and loved that it's paired with nori and rice. Wished it had a bit more punch to it in terms of seasoning. Crab Fried Rice 8/10: this was delicious but still say it's a solid 8. Beautifully prepared! Korean Hot Wings 2.5/10: I could tell that it was well cooked, but it was insanely salty; it was practically inedible. Hurricane Fries 9/10: These were so delicious! You are immediately hit with the smell of truffle, which made my mouth water. Packed with flavor! Brussels 7/10: These were well roasted, but the sauce was a tad too sweet for my liking. I highly recommend trying this place out!

By the bar we got to see some of the dishes being made. Great date night spot. Limited parking. This is a tapas spot and our serve did a good job recommending how many dishes to get. The only reason Noko is not getting 5 stars is because the server said that they would time out the dishes for us, so it was best to place our entire order all at once. However, we got 3 dishes and then it took about 30 minutes for other two to come out. Maybe we were eating too fast but felt like we were waiting a while for our food. The food itself was absolutely delicious. There was nothing we ordered that I did not like. Some favorites include the burnt ends lettuce wraps and Korean chicken wings. The Sando, shrimp and tuna crispy rice was also spectacular. The tuna was so flavorful and refreshing on the tuna crispy rice. The sauce of the east side shrimp really makes the dish. I'm not a huge shrimp person but this was really good. This is a must go to spot in Nashville and would definitely want to come back.

The interior was really neat, I couldn't figure out what was here before or if this was an original build...but the rocks, brick, and wood was cozy. It had the vibes of a bathhouse but this could have easily been a bbq or pizza joint in the past...or neither...or both. I have no idea but I loved how unique it was. Our waitress was calm and quiet, I don't know if she wanted to be there but she was attentive and nice. We went at 11:30am on Memorial Day right after they opened. It was an all-day dinner menu due to the holiday which was fine by us. It is $29.95/pp for the dinner menu. There were a lot of booths already taken but the restaurant wasn't super busy. When ordering, you tell your waiter what you want each round. We never had any issues with waiting for ours to come back to order more food and our drinks were always filled. For all you can eat sushi, this was pretty decent and the fish was fresh. The kitchen menu items were okay. The gyoza was really good and the pad Thai was alright, very mediocre but still good, just not authentic (I've never seen lemon with pad Thai, only lime). My husband ordered the hibachi chicken and it only came with chicken, no rice. The miso soup was flavorless. For the sushi, everything we had was really good and I especially enjoyed the Pac-Man roll and the Out of Control roll. Do beware that most of the rolls at Sushi Kingdom come with cream cheese, which I feel most AYCE sushi places add this abomination to their rolls. However, we enjoyed all of our rolls even if some had cream cheese. Their sashimi came in large slices so that was really nice! You get 10 pieces of sashimi per person, any more than that and it's $1 up-charge per order. Overall, Sushi Kingdom is pretty solid if you're looking more for quantity over quality. If we weren't 40 minutes away, I'd consider coming back. Food- 7/10 Service- 10/10

The three different onigiri were all delicious and different but our favorite was the yaki since the grilled rice added such a depth of flavor with the cod roe. The seasoning they serve on the side is great too. My chirashi bowl even though it was "mini" ate like a full meal. They really put a good amount of rice and salmon. Very well seasoned and everything tasted fresh. The curry rice was a very large portion and the curry tasted homemade.
