I should start by saying I was impressed by both the response time and the price given me by China's. (Pronounced Chee.mahs) Chima's was not my first call. My first call was to a company closer to where my vehicle became disabled. They have an automated answering service, which gave me the opportunity to speak to a live operator. They took my information and said they would locate a tow truck. I waited on the phone for 10 minutes and never heard back from them so I finally hung up. I then called Chima's. The gentleman who answered the phone was very friendly. He asked me all the necessary questions, where the vehicle was located (he knew the exact spot) and where it was to be towed to. He said they had a truck available and it would be to me within 30 minutes. Rick arrived in less than 25 minutes! He was friendly and efficient. He loaded my vehicle and we were off. We had an enjoyable conversation all the way to my home. Rick offloaded my vehicle. He was professional, courteous, and friendly. And their price was $75 less than the first tow company I called. The beginning of the next week I will need to have the vehicle towed to the dealer. I told Rick I would be Chima's to have them tow the vehicle because of the excellent experience I had with them. He said they would be ready for me! read more

AWFUL. Trying to talk to these people is impossible. They are rude, try to speak to you like you're stupid straight off the bat. Don't even try to ask them any questions regarding anything because they will run you in circles. I (a 27 year old woman) tried to have a civil conversation with the older woman in the front and she literally answered phone calls in the middle of me asking a question just to avoid answering! Then, who I am guessing is her husband kicked me out. If you can't speak to customers in a civil way and answer business questions, you should NOT own a business whatsoever. It's sad to see many others have left similar comments and pictures of the man I'm referring to encountering the same thing. -20 stars read more

Chima's Towing - after he kicked me out for asking questions on the paperwork I had to beg to be given to me - Towing Near Me - Sacramento, California

The woman at the front desk was so sweet! I think she saw how expensive the tow was and gave a discount. Thank you so much!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Recently, I was in a freeway accident, and CHP officers chose to call Chima's Towing, the closest towing company to the freeway (maybe why they have still managed to stay in business). Terry, my tow truck driver, gave me adequate service and dropped me off. However, this business is unethical and poorly managed. The family who owns it and runs the front desk are extremely rude, dishonest about pricing/hidden fees, and mishandled my vehicle/belongings. read more

I warn you please do not do business or buy a car from Here they are not trustworthy and they are scammers me and my mom came to check out the cars. We bought the alternator and wanted to print a paper of acknowledgement that we wanted the car and we payed for the part. TED called us on Saturday (their closing hours) and wanted to put the alternator in the car when we arrived we showed in the paperwork he became very enraged and aggressiv, he spoke racial things very disrespectfu. This company employs very scary and u professional people. Brandon has absolutely no problem getting right in people's faces. He has no problem hurling insults at them. He licks the boots of the crooked cops. Just think, he is the person who is supposed to tow your vehicle after a crash. So there you are, likely in shock, and Brandon shows up being aggressive and rude. Certainly not the company I will ever be calling again! read more

If I could make this 0 stars i would! This LOL is the most unprofessional and unorganized place I've ever dealt with! My sons motorcycle was towed on Thursday night. I called this morning to check the address for the location of where they took this motorcycle. I was sent all the way to Franklin California when in fact it was actually off of Power Inn Boulevard (i started in carmichael) . And then the stupid witch that answered the phone said oh and what do you want me to do about it sorry(with a laugh in her voice). If you do not have to deal with this company I would highly suggest going with anyone else! Thank you for the response, however I'm sure there won't be a gas card for my wasted gas not getting my time back for all the running across town. Not sure how you would make it up to me, but it was certainly an inconvenience when your people do not take the proper time confirm where they are sending customers. read more

They towed into their yard May 2, 2024 and and I paid them the $2000 and police release fee to get my dead dad's RV back after it was stolen. Update from the the previous review - I still don't have it back even though they're review people said they gave it back. Later when I had no more money they offered to take it out of the yard but when I told them I didn't have anymore money I never heard back from them. And they didn't give me back my money and I'm disputing the charges and they are still trying to say they deserve it and they fulfilled the services. I'm sorry but unless I paid them $2000 to steal my property they did not fulfill the services. They only deserve the money if they give it back, otherwise they sell it to all those people who are happy to buy the vehicles they towed into the yard that the owner never got back to pay the tow fees. You don't get both you thieves. Because I lived in my RV my family and dogs have been sleeping in a tent in on the side of the road. read more

This review is for Terry! He got our call for help last night from chp and got to us very fast! He told us up front he was not going to be a cheap date and told me the cost the moment he knew where we wanted to go. He was very nice and joked with us the whole way home. Really nice to laugh after a bummer day like that. He may not be everyones cup of tea, but he will get you from point A to B safely! These guys are so legit. On my way back to the Bay Area this morning, I was involved in a four-car accident on 99. The person who caused the accident and the one driving another car involved walked away just fine with cosmetic damage to their cars. I wasn't so lucky. My car, as well as the other car involved, were both totaled. After the reports were taken and statements were made, two workers from Chima's Towing arrived in their trucks. They took me and my car (RIP Blake) to a parking lot. The driver of my truck empathized with me about losing a car, but told me how much more important it is that I'm alive. It was like on-site trauma and shock counseling. When we arrived in the lot, they lowered my car. Both employees helped me empty my belongings out of my car before taking it to the tow yard. They talked with me and stuck around until a friend came to pick me up. Both were personable, and sweet, and helped me keep calm. The downside? What these guys neglected to do was communicate to me that 1) I had the option of having my car towed anywhere, not just to their yard and 2) They would be charging fees piled upon fees for me to store it there. Add to that the fact that my insurance company took five days to actually get out to see the car and assess the damage, and what you have is $500+ in storage fees that I couldn't afford and my insurance company refused to cover. NOT COOL. We were able to come to an agreement in which I turned over the pink slip of my car and paid them $200 (PAYING THEM TO TAKE A TOTALED CAR OFF MY HANDS?!) in exchange for them removing all the fees. Begrudgingly, I drove to Sacramento to what may be the jankiest looking business front ever, and did exactly that. So yes, while they came to my rescue, they also cost me extra money and time and grief. So in the end, Chimas isn't bad, but it isn't all that great. read more

My RV was towed, and they are charging $700. When I called to speak with them to find out costs so I could come get it out on Friday(pay day). I wasn't able to secure a new place to store the RV until Saturday, and did not want it to get towed again parking it on the street. Company does not list hours of operation on their website or on their business listing. I called on Friday at 3:27pm and asked if they were open tomorrow, meaning Saturday. The female that answered the phone told me they were. When I asked what time, she responded 8am. When I called Saturday morning at 8:05, the female that answered the phone said they don't open until Monday. She was extremely rude, and stated that they are never open on the weekends, as if I should know that. This is the exact reason I called and asked yesterday. The following is my belief. BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! We were threatened for taking our belongings out of a car that belonged to us. If you have to make two or more trips back to your rental car, they said it was their property and policy to forbid you back on the property. We had to call the police to help us get our belongings out of the car that belonged to us. I believe from first-hand experience, this place had the worst customer service out of all the companies I visited in my life. BEWARE! If I could give a ZERO or below score, I would without any hesitation. Look at all of the low ratings for this company. BEWARE!!! To Iran C. First and foremost, you have to earn the respect. So, are you asking customers to be respectful to your employees after they were harassed or employees were rude to them? Are you proclaimg your employees were respectful when evidence shows otherwise? Are you proclaiming your employees adhered to the law and the police was just there for fun and games? You want me to call you? Do you know how ignorant you sound? The following is my opinion based on my experience with your employees, which were properly captured as evidence. I am familiar with the law your employees violated. Aaron and the others proclaimed your company's policy took precedence over the law. They even challenged the police on their knowledge of the law. The seemingly harassment, stereotypes, and ignorance need to cease immediately! Your employees were rude, unlawful, and ignorant of the law that guarantees a person's right to get their belongings out of the car that still belongs to them. We showed the ID first by which we were given access to our vehicle. Your employees tried to prevent us from getting all of our belongings out of our car citing a company policy that was not posted or visible to customers. In fact, your company prevented me from getting my disability items. We had to call the police on your employees for our protection and to protect our rights afforded by the law. Cease with the lies. Read all of the negative reviews. We had to call the police on your harassing employees. When the police arrived, the harassment ceased and we were allowed to get our personal items. It's a damn shame we had to call the police due to harassment and violation of the law. The insurance company will obtain my disability items. Therefore, don't post any more seemingly lies or send me any useless responses. You need to take the time to educate your employees about the towing laws and customer service. You and your employees are NOT above the law. I exclaim and advise readers of this post to please BEWARE using this towing company for any services. This post is based on my opinions based on my personal observations and experience. Most of the other posts as of today shared the same sentiments. BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! read more

Terry assaulted me last night. Last night he made multiple racial jabs at my friend and I when he arrived on scene. It was unsettling and hard to stomach his microagressions. Then he proceeds to threaten damage to our vehicle by saying "if your shitty car gets wrecked tonight no one would know. I'll just leave." Laughing as he said so to us. I called the shop about my concern. Terry pulls over after he got the call, walks up to me and grabs my phone and hand. He also threatened "I have my straps. I got my straps." Meaning he has his guns. I became visibly shaken. I recorded everything from the moment we pulled over. He got in my face multiple times aggressively. My posts on Facebook has now gone viral. Horrible towing company! Extremely slow and unsafe transportation of vehicle!

If there was a, "NO STAR" option that would a be compliment to their service. They deserve so much less! The level of disrespect shown by this company should be illegal. Calling for a quote shouldn't leave a long lasting distasteful impression. This company couldn't probe for the information to produce a quote without displaying numerous counts of unprofessionalism. When you as for a supervisor you expect a turning point or some type of redemption to salvage the company's name. Unfortunately when I spoke to a supervisor his words without a greeting were, " What are you expecting from a supervisor? It was 100°, I was running out of water and my phone was low on battery. CHP HAD TO CALL THESE GUYS.... Got into a wreck and was taken to the hospital in the ambulance so my car was on the side of the freeway and had to be towed. A few days later my insurance company called me and told me to that my car was at Chima's Towing and 8021 19th Avenue and to go there to get my personal belongings out of my car. I got there around 12:35 and it was lunch and I was told by a sign that they will be back at 1:00. I come back at 1:05 and no one is there. Eventually someone in the tow yard sees us and tells someone to get me. After making a copy of my ID they led to my car. Looks like whoever towed my car rummaged through it and took my valuables.
