She needed to leave for work, but the truck had been left unattended and we couldn't locate the driver initially. When I did find him, I politely asked if he could move the truck forward about 10 feet so she could get out. He refused and was immediately dismissive and rude. He then stated he was going to take his mandatory 30-minute break and said he was legally allowed to leave his truck in the middle of the road, continuing to block access. His tone felt unnecessarily aggressive given that I was simply asking for help resolving the situation. I then called the company directly to ask if they could contact the driver and have him move the truck. The woman answering phones was also rude and said "I HOPE YOU DON'T GET SHOT," implying she wanted me TO GET SHOT! It was a bizarre response when I simply asked her to have the driver move his truck ten feet. We sat there 20 minutes as he stood around not putting the car on the tow truck. At that point, I felt uncomfortable enough that I contacted law enforcement and filed a report.
