I took my car here yesterday for two new tires. In the past two months my car had already been to a tire shop and looked at by a family member, and also to the dealership to get a recalled piece replaced. So I already knew of any and all issues with my car due to the first tire shop visit and the Ford dealership visit. After getting my tires, the employees gave me a list of "issues" that needed to be addressed on my car. Stating that one of the issues was $1200 and needed to be taken care of immediately, but I had a grand total of $2,000 worth of issues. Again, they didn't know I had already sent my car to another tire shop and the Ford dealership within the last 2 months where no one ever stated these issues with my car but they had told me what did need to be done, and they were consistent with each other. Immediately when I got home from big o tires, I had my cousin who works at the tire shop I initially sent my car to to check my car for the issues big o said I had. He did not find any of them. The only reason I didn't keep my car at my cousins shop was because it was more expensive than big o, but at least they don't lack integrity and were honest about my issues. The big o tires employees were trying to get me, a girl who walked in by herself and knows little to anything about cars, out of $2,000 when nothing was wrong with my car. They lack integrity and shouldn't get another dime. I absolutely do not recommend. Update 2 months later: my car has been leaking ever since it was serviced here. My car had ZERO leakage prior to bringing it here. So disappointing

As fate would have it, I took the car to the dealership for a recall and they discovered that one of the tires had a small bubble. I figured this would be the perfect opportunity to celebrate almost two years with the car by treating her to some new tires. I reached out to Chris who quoted me $1,200 (including manufacture warranty) for four thick profiled performance tires, which was $1,300 cheaper than the quote that I received from the dealer. Chris quickly placed the order for the tires and called me the next day to inform me that they had arrived. Since the establishment is generally very busy on the weekends, I decided to visit on a weekday in hopes for a quicker experience. Thankfully, there was only one car ahead of me when I arrived. Chris instructed me to pull the car into the shop and immediately began removing the tires (I'm always impressed by a hands-on owner). Less than 30 minutes later, the job was done and I was in the office checking out. As Chris implied, I can confirm that the ride quality of my car has significantly improved. I have been a customer for seven years and have referred many friends and family to the shop. If you're looking for competitive prices and exceptional customer service, I highly recommend visiting South West Tire Shop!

A Tough Spot with a Flat Tire…read more My wife and I ended up at this tire shop after her Nissan Leaf got a flat. Here's what you need to know about a Leaf -- it doesn't come with a spare tire. Instead, it's got a temporary repair kit meant for small punctures, just to get you from the side of the road to a tire shop. Unfortunately, our tire had a rupture in the sidewall, which means no quick fix -- you need a whole new tire. So, I drove over to AGB Tire Shop, which was just up the street, hoping they'd have what we needed. They didn't. The place had plenty of tires stacked around, but none that fit her Nissan Leaf. Because of that, I can't really give a full review on their work or quality -- we didn't get service beyond that. But here's what I can say: if your car uses a less common tire size, this might not be the place to go in an emergency. One other note -- I asked if they had a restroom we could use while we waited, and they didn't. They also didn't suggest anywhere nearby we could go, which, honestly, didn't sit great with me. So, while they might be fine for more common tire needs, between the limited selection and lack of basic customer accommodation, I can't say I'd recommend this shop.

Thinking I could drive to work I turn around to head over to Les Schwab, conveniently located about 10 minutes from my house. I've never been to a Les Schwab nor this specific location. As soon as they opened their garages I approach an employee, Haziel, to ask if my tire would be fixable. Thankfully, he said where the nail punctured the tire it was! I asked how much and he stated $20 or possibly complimentary and to head inside to get the paperwork going. Benjamin was the other employee who assisted with this transaction. Paperwork was quick and I found out I was able to get this tire repaired for free. WOW! I didn't ask questions, lol, yet I can only assume it's because it was my first time there. I found this to be very generous seeing as I did not purchase my tires from here. The repair was quick and took maybe 15-20 minutes. Haziel came back in to inform me what was done while ensuring he tested out my tire to make sure the hole was properly fixed. All around great customer service from start to finish! I typically go to Honda EG for all my car needs due to still being under warranty but once that expires I will surely return here for my regular car maintenance.

I only got 2 of my 4 tires from them but this particular flat tire wasn't even theirs but they would still repair it free because they want me on the road safe. That's exceptional service there and makes me a repeat customer. What they found was cupping which means a camber or alignment issue and they diagnosed it free. Julian, the worker, pulled my car in quick to check any shock or alignment issues an explained it to me visually on site. They weren't trying to upsell me, because that type of service they don't even do. Also fyi, they just started recently doing alignments which is great, just know you don't need to do alignments every time you get new tires. Overall just a wonderful experience as far as tire service goes. I want to promote good business but also afraid the more people know the busier it gets, but they really deserve it.

I booked an appointment at America's Tire for a simple tire rotation, expecting a routine visit…read more Historically, this has always been a 30 to 45 minute or less job from check in to departure. This time, my car did not even enter the bay until over an hour after check in, and the total visit took well nearly two hours. At that point, what is the point of having appointments? If appointments are treated like walk ins, Americas Tires should limit how many they accept each day so time slots actually mean something. The garage environment was extremely unprofessional. Employees were yelling, hollering, and loudly singing instead of working, creating a chaotic and disruptive atmosphere that showed a lack of focus and urgency. With a line out the door. The lobby was noticeably filthy, especially the floor, which made it even stranger to see employees' water bottles lined up on the dirty floor behind the counter instead of being kept higher and in a designated area (like on top of the bin in the corner). That's a clear disregard for employees health. Basic cleanliness and organization are clearly lacking at this location but some of these issues span across the entire umbrella. Phones were ringing off the hook. It is also surprising there is no centralized call center handling incoming calls so on site employees can focus on managing workflow and helping customers who are physically present. Customers in-store are in line for 20-45mts waiting to be helped or even checked in for the appt booked to avoid exactly that. Why's there not an appt line and a walk-in line? This is an industry that still requires in person interaction, and the current setup is inefficient, disrespectful and frustrating. Overall, a disappointing experience and a major downgrade from what used to be a reliable company and service. Love this company, even go out of my way to come to town to use them because there aren't any where I live.... Our family loyalty doesn't feel valued. Might be time to start hunting for a new car service. Bummer!
