When I did find him, I politely asked if he could move the truck forward about 10 feet so she could get out. He refused and was immediately dismissive and rude. He then stated he was going to take his mandatory 30-minute break and said he was legally allowed to leave his truck in the middle of the road, continuing to block access. His tone felt unnecessarily aggressive given that I was simply asking for help resolving the situation. I then called the company directly to ask if they could contact the driver and have him move the truck. The woman answering phones was also rude and said "I HOPE YOU DON'T GET SHOT," implying she wanted me TO GET SHOT! It was a bizarre response when I simply asked her to have the driver move his truck ten feet. We sat there 20 minutes as he stood around not putting the car on the tow truck. At that point, I felt uncomfortable enough that I contacted law enforcement and filed a report.

When I contacted the company to address the issue, the manager responded in an unprofessional manner. He became hostile, raised his voice, and refused to provide his name when requested. This behavior is unacceptable and does not meet basic standards of customer service or accountability. I am requesting that this incident be formally investigated. I would also like clarification on the company's towing procedures and assurance that drivers are following proper protocols to avoid potential vehicle damage. I called to ask if they service my apartment complex. The first rep immediately said "we do not" -- wrong. My daughter had to leave her unit to check the sign because apparently, facts are optional here. When I called back to correct them, my complaint was dismissed, and the rep hung up on me. Emotional. Assumptive. Completely unprofessional. Call number two: slightly better on manners, but still a nightmare. I gave the license plate of the car parked illegally in my spot and the complex info. The answer? "A driver will come in 60 minutes," and the call ended. Then they called and asked me to text them my driver's license and lease. I complied. Then I was told a supervisor would call. And oh boy, the supervisor. More emotional than the first rep, talking over me, refusing accountability, and accusing me of being "rude" -- for pointing out that their system is a mess. Then, after ALL of that, he tells me they can't help me because only the property manager can authorize a tow. REALLY?! That should have been the first thing you said, not after wasting my time and collecting my personal info. Also, fun fact: they appear to illegally record calls as there is no prompt, beeping sound, or information that the calls are recorded other than knowing because I asked if they were. Bottom line: disorganized, unprofessional, incompetent, and likely to waste your time while acting offended that you asked for basic service. I would love to avoid this company because I do not enjoy frustration, incompetence, and emotional customer service reps deflecting and scapegoating with me. However I am most definitely going to put in an ADA request to ensure that I can personally have cars removed rather than rely on the property manager alone. In fact, I am going to look into this more because I could have sworn I already had one.
