I won't name the other company that came out and over charged me for a bunch of hvac I didnt need but Justin from JMV came in and saved the day like Superman. First. He was easy to setup an appointment with and was communicative right away. Thats a star Second when he came to the site he went through both systems thoroughly and explained what was wrong and what we needed to fix and explained how the other company was overcharging was for stuff that didn't need to be fixed. That's a star Third, after assessing the problem he gave us a solution that was a fraction of the cost and ordered the parts right away. The parts were slightly delayed which he communicated right away so that wasnt his fault but the fact he communicated that right away to me was a bonus.That's a star Fourth, the day of install Justin text saying he would be there shortly wnd was on time and started working on the units promptly! Tested the first unit after the fix and BAM WORKED PERFECTLY. At that point I started writing this review. Then, Justin started working immediately on the second unit, no break or anything and made sure that unit worked as well. Another update due to another great experience with AirChampion…read more Recent electrical outages and surges have taken a toll on many things in our house, but the A/C is the main thing I was concerned about. In triple-digit heat, the last thing you want is your A/C to not work resulting in you lying in a pool of sweat under a marginally-effective ceiling fan. Had some concerns recently regarding our system due to yet another brief power outage and subsequent surge that results afterward. Outside fan on the air conditioner wasn't coming back on after repeated attempts. Called AirChampion and they squeezed us in, getting to the house within 3 hours of our call. Thankfully we finally were able to get the system up and running again prior to the tech arriving, but we did want to make sure that the capacitor in the outside fan had not been damaged. A quick test revealed it was operating at about 90 percent capacity. Tech also gave us some pointers about what to do should the motor in that outside fan cease to operate. Great tips! There is a reason we have been using AirChampion for over 40 years - and this is it. Great job!
