This was almost a poor review but the manager did well. Nice location and plenty of seating, 1st they were out of the margarita of the month, it's only the 10th, then I ordered ribs/hot chicken tenders combo, only to have the manager come and tell me they had a fryer issue and couldn't make the tenders, I swapped out for the quasidillia. Not what I wanted had the sweet bbq/hot tenders taste in my mind. Ribs were good and the dragon fruit presidential margarita was very tasty. The manager did come by again and check and compensated us for the issues which is rare. I will be back again to hope for a 5 star outcome read more

the service couldnt have been worse. tried to make me and two others pay for a check that wasnt ours right after we paid for ours. there was a group of about 12 of us and after everyone paid we were the last to go and they said that stuff. they brought all the checks for proof of payment and we had to solve their problem and showed them that everyone paid then they told us to leave and not come back. read more

Salty is what I would call the food we had today. We chose the 2 meals for $25 which includes one appetizer, two entrees & one dessert. Obviously you must choose from a list of items for this special priced set. We had decent service, however for some strange reason this is the second Chilis where the online queue service wasn't working properly. We walked in, gave our name, then had to sit in the car to wait out our time until we were called. We put in our order and the food came soon after. Again, the service was decent - the FOOD was NOT. Fried Pickles & The Fried Cheese Nuggets were our appetizer choices. (we did add an additional appetizer) Everything was salty and fried. Well, we knew it was fried. My son ordered the fried chicken tenders (a lot of fried food, right!?) and I ordered the 6 oz. sirloin w/mashed potatoes and broccoli. The chicken was okay...he ate most of them. However, the steak was just okay. I don't go to Chili's often and I never go for the steak, but it seemed like a good value. It was improperly cooked - more cooked on one side than the other. The mashed potatoes were very good. I could eat those again. The broccoli I was hoping would be tasty - but they were like downing a salt shaker! There was way too much seasoning and salt on them I couldn't eat them at all. I asked our server for another order without any seasoning. He had no issues in bringing it out for me. The new order without seasoning was VERY good. For dessert we chose the chocolate chip cookie. It's to be served in a skillet with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. We were full and got it to go. It was the toughest and most tasteless cookie we ever had. It ended up in the trash because either no one could eat it (too hard) or it had absolutely no taste. Should have chosen the cheesecake. I will never return back to Chili's - the food just isn't want Chili's was known for in the past. I remember great fajita's and burgers...but these items aren't even the same either. We stopped in here after an 11 hour drive and were basically told we had to wait 20 minutes or "just go somewhere else!" They had quite a few open tables and could have easily accommodated us, but we felt like we're not welcome. We left and will definitely not be back!! Very disappointed! read more

It's average. The Margaritas were the best part. Seemed to be short staffed but waiter was friendly.

Kris the bartender is phenomenal. Great personality and excellent at her experience. She knows how to do customer service with even the smallest of things, ie silent refills on food/beverages. Managers on duty check on every table & had a nice interaction. Kitchen staff looked like they were having a good day working on a hot cook-line and productive with their time. I tried the bacon ranch an although I was hungry, the meat was dry so I had to dip the burger in ketchup to moisten it. Food and service was great! Came on Friday had a short wait but once seated waited on promptly and manger stop to check in as well.

We had a small party of 3. Ordered Cajun Pasta with chicken, Chicken fajitas, Mac & Cheese from the kids menu, Seasoned French fries, & a side salad. The salad had lots of ingredients (which is perfect for those of us that do not use dressing). The chicken fajitas were brought out in a steaming hot skillet (shells on side in hot box). Cajun pasta was hot (not too spicy though) and made perfectly. Mac & Cheese was Mac & Cheese (pretty hard to screw it up-haha!). It was all really good & affordable. Friendly & helpful servers too. My wife and I order a Santa Fe chicken salad. It said on the menu it had cilantro, Avocados and looked amazing. When we received the salads it was just lettuce, maybe some spinach, and chicken. No avocado, no cilantro, and a small cup of what tasted like ranch dressing not a spicy southwest dressing. We said something and the manager came out with sliced avocados, and some cilantro that we could add to our salad. I am not sure what they call this leaving out ingredients that are expensive on a menu item ..... I am sure it saves the restaurant lots of money leaving out avocados. Of course the reason for the removal of the items was they were concerned the avocados were not ripe enough. This experience was awful the service wasnt even that good the steak was late and very raw. Some of my tenders were like I was eating rubber i tried ripping it, it didn't rip tried cutting it it didnt even cut. The chicken had no seasoning. I ordered sprite and got water, the rice was dryer the sahara desert, and the peppers was just mush. The tables were smaller than coffee tables, it was so small they didn't even give us plates. The ambience was okay but overall the total was not good. This was also very expensive, about 100$. I would definitely not recommend, and this is one of the worst experiences ever had. read more

The ancho salmon is great. The employees are morons. I've never endured a more miserable 90 minutes in my life -- and I've passed kidney stones. If someone gave me the option being mauled by a Grizzly or going to Chili's on Silhavy, I'd take my chances with the bear. They get one star for the salmon. read more

During the pandemic, I began ordering my food for pickup from here and have overall had mixed results. Most of the time, the food is always ready 10 minutes prior to pickup which means it's been sitting and cooling off. By the time You return home, it's almost entirely cold. Also, I would not recommend getting two sides of fries with the chicken tenders plate. I ate dinner at this restaurant with my mother and sister, and our experience was a fantastic one. Our server, Megan, was extremely kind and helpful. Shortly after we were seated she greeted us, took our drink order, and was very helpful bringing sauces, boxes, and bags when we needed them. She even gave us warm chips in a special bag to take home with our guacamole and salsa. Megan was a wonderful server and a great representation of this establishment! Also, the food was delicious. Everything was flavored well and seasoned perfectly. The kitchen staff did a stellar job on our meals and appetizers. I order a curbside order @ 4:30PM and didn't began to eat it until 10:30PM, which is when i found out i had hair baked into one of my nachos. As i was chewing I felt the hair and pulled it out my mouth and spit the remaining out as well. (Sorry for the picture) but i uploaded as proof. I called in to the restaurant and spoke to someone name Derrick who i explained everything to who advised me he was transferring me to the office. The man i was transferred to (assuming a manager) told me you had hair in your food 6 hours ago (in a very sarcastic voice), would you like a refund. As i began to try to explain to him what i told Derrick he continuously cut me off to ask if i wanted a refund. I stop to correct him, yes i ordered 6 hours ago but i just now started eating it. I cleaned, fed my kids and took a nap. Which isn't his business but however, i just started to eat and called right away. He proceeds to say he said 6 hours ago because it could have happened on my end in between time from someone else at my home. How is a hair thats BAKED in my food on my end is beyond me! I proceeded to explain him that it was baked in my food, further more why would anyone be touching my food. He then said ok again, and asked if i wanted a refund. I was going to originally just ask them if i could bring it back in tomorrow since it was 10 mins til closing and for them to remake it, but since he cut me off 3 times asking did i want a refund, i said yes. Now i won't be returning ever again, I'll rather drive 30 minutes to the merrillville location than to drive 5 mins to this location. I just feel very disgusted with the customer service as well as someone else's hair being in my mouth. And BTW i was very nice, i just felt some type of way after i hung up and i thought about how he was speaking to me & blamed me and never took accountability. read more
