Had dinner here tonight I think this is my 3rd or 4th time there. Don't really have nothing good or bad to say about this place. The few times I been there for lunch and dinner the service and food was decent. Even tonight they said they were short staffed and it might be a bit for drinks and such and I was like it's all good I am in no rush and the food still came out in good time. I mean all these people b*tching about how the food sucks...well hello it's freakin Chili's not a 5 star restaurant (well probably some people can't tell the difference) lol This place is good if you wanna have lunch and you want something a little nicer than a fast food joint. We were passing thru and stopped in for dinner. I am glad we did not look at the reviews. Waitress was great and very kind to save a special trinket that my son left on our table. Went here last week. It was all right. What do you expect from a chain restaurant tho, ya know? I ordered the under $7 meal mini chicken crispy burgers. They were ok. I enjoyed their onion strings. MMmmm..I like those! Yummy. Chicken tacos were just ok. Overall, the food was just ok. I'd go back here again. Waitress was very friendly & attentive. We ordered a tropical margarita - it was pretty good. Be careful sitting near the bar though, the bartender kept clanking glasses together. For a chain restaurant, the food is ok. At this location, I ordered the classic sirloin steak. It was a little dry for medium well, but quite tasty and flavorful otherwise. The restaurant itself is clean and the staff is friendly and attentive to your requests. read more

Server was very attentive and helpful. Came here with my 2 year old baby boy and my husband this weekend, The food is okay, nothing special. Honestly , the guacamole & chips appetizer was way better than our main entrees. We both got the "BIG BOSS" burger. Nothing special about it just a regular burger with pulled pork. Went here after church and got the two for $20 special. Great deal for two. We had my 20 month grandson and he was getting tired and restless and the manager came out and entertained him, got him ice in a cup then Jenny our server brought him sugar taped in a small sauce cup which made a little shaker toy. We eat here regularly because of how close it is. The service is usually pretty decent. The food is usually your standard Chili's food. (Tastes good but horrible for you) Couple weeks ago we tried ordering To-go at 9:15pm and it just rang and rang and rang. .. eventually to an answering machine. Showed up at 930 at the To-go door which said they serve To-go until 10pm. There was a sign at the counter that said to go see the bartedner to place orders. Received horrible service from her, waited 5 mins and ended up just walking out. Hopefully this was just a bad night and not of what's to come. read more

Figured we give it a second well a third try. Not happy at all. Me and the wife never go out and eat but when we do we try to give some businesses a second chance. Well went to chilis with neighbors and took almost an hour to get our food. And when we did it was cold and not good. Let's just say never eating here again. Would. We came here on a Sunday since we had some vouchers to use. We were surprised to see that Happy Hour specials were served all day in the bar area. So we thought...cool, let's try it out. Service...Service was actually pretty good. The hostess at the door was nice and friendly. Our server checked on us more than a couple of times. I wish she would have given me more water, especially considering the food required me to drink lots of it. More on that later. Food...What can I say...it was happy hour type food. I found it to be heavily on the salty side. As someone pointed out earlier...sodium, sodium, sodium. LOL My wife and I agreed that it was probably that way since that kind of food would go better with someone that's there for the drinks (beer & other alcoholic beverages). We however were there to satisfy our hunger. Anyhow, the chips and salsa was free and bottomless. I think the chips could be better at Chilis restaurants. They're sooooo light & fragile. My son ordered the Chicken Nachos and liked them. My wife and I ordered a full order of boneless buffalo wings, artichoke dip, and Onion strings with Jalapenos. Out of the three, the dip was nice. It probably could've been nicer if it wasn't so tiny though. The Onion straws were excessively oily. Less drip during my eating enjoyment would have been preferred. As for the wings...they were a little too salty/saucy for my liking. I really wish I had at least a refilled glass of water! It was too the point that we tried to offset by ordering a side dish of rice and broccoli. It helped, but was no match for the salty/saucy combination. lol 4 stars for the service and 2 stars for the food equals a 3 star rating review. Next time, if there is a next time, we're going with the regular menu and ordering something more healthy. ;) read more

I've been here several times... I have been pleased by their food. I like the 2 for 20$. It is ok to have a meal out, nothing special or formal. It is kind of pack on weekends. We go out a lot and have been to this location a dozen times. They have great customer service and we have only had good experiences here. On one occasion my country fried steak I felt was over cooked and the manager Lisa quickly took it back and re did the order her self all with a smile on her face. Then didn't even hesitate to remove it from our bill with out being asked to. She showed great concern with our experience it was wonderful. She made our experience delightful and memorable and that's the usual way our visit ends at chili's. I'd give more stars if I could. read more

Terrible experience. Go in often and there is a terrible smell that they keep promising to fix. Tonight it was putrid. It was so bad we had to ask for our food to go. We got attitude from the server when we asked them and then had to wait and wait. The smell like there is a dead animal rotting away kept getting worse. Sat at the bar area with family...HORRIBLE SERVICE Our waiter kept disappearing and not attending to our table. I ordered a margarita the glass rim had half the salt, when I asked the waiter why did my glass not have salt all around the rim her response was...You have to ask for the salt all around. I thought BS...I told her I've never have seen such and her reply was well our bartender does it like that. I ordered appetizers and that was fine but then our waiter disappeared and I had to ask for the manager to order my dinner. Who does that. The boss was useless just made excuses for the waiter. He didn't apologized for her behavior and didn't make us feel like ever coming back. What a waste of time and money. Never ever again. It used to be my families favorite place. Texas road house have messed up in the past but the manager would come to our table and apologize. Offer dessert just to make us fill like we matter. My bf and I have been coming here almost every Friday after his softball game. We used to love it bc the bar would have seating and the bartenders were fast and friendly. The last few months the food and customer service has gone downhill. There was a menu change and it's completely obvious the quality of food is now lesser quality. Once we finally order our food, it always takes 20+ mins to be brought to us...but that doesn't mean it wasn't ready a long time before that. I've worked in the restaurant business before and I know what food looks like when it's been sitting under heating lamp. This chili's is awesome! The food is good and the staff is friendly. The prices are just right. I do wish they would cut back on the carbs. I miss the chicken and green chili soup. I usually eat here once every two weeks or so. I order the same thing "Original Chicken Crispers" this time the crispers where cold and dark like they have been in the fryer too long. I had to flag down a server to get drink refills. Ever since they got those tabletop PoS (point of sale) systems their service sucks. I was there recently with a group of six for a bday dinner after 9:30pm. When we first got there no one greeted us or sat us down after 3-4 minutes. I didn't think they closed at 10 so I'm guessing they didn't want to help out since they were going to close soon. After they say us the waiter was friendly and helped us with great service. Went here for dinner after being broke down on the road for 3 hours prior, so I was hungry and irritable. Turns out their deep fryer was broken, so no fries, chicken strips/nuggets, chips, etc, etc, etc. Luckily the waiter was super cool and said he completely understood if we wanted to go somewhere else. Which we did, but we were informed by an employee there that the fryer had broke down earlier in the day and that they wouldnt have someone out til Monday to fix it. Really? Well I am a Disabled Vet. I have to be very careful with spices although the family loves spicy foods. I found that Chili's met all our needs!!! The Restaurant is Wheelchair friendly. My Daughters had the three for twenty. The chili Fries were so good that they have decided this the the place for them. One had the Rack of Ribs regular sauce and was very satisfying. The other had the Quesadilla Salad and is ready to go back. I had the Turkey Sandwich and had to forgo the spicy Bread, that was not a problem. The Service was the best I have had in Tracy. I now have been to ever Resturant in Tracy and Chili's Rates in the top 3. We are looking forward to our next visit.... read more

I was craving Chili's just last night and thought it would be a great idea to go. As I walked in the door with my friend, we were standing there for a good 5 minutes waiting to be seated, and we even made eye contact with the coworkers , they obviously saw us but ignored us. Until, I went up to one of them and told us we could sit anywhere, sat down for a good 10 minutes and no one had helped us yet. Needless to say, I was disappointed and I had to leave the restaurant. My wife and I went in for happy hour for a drink and appetizers. Drinks were great but no so for the appetizers. One item we ordered was the mini-burgers and fries for $4.99. Got 2 very small sliders and 8-9 fries. Literally so small not worth $4.99 and I wouldn't even consider it a full sized appetizer. Better bet would be to just order a burger and fries and cut it up to share. I can go to McDonald's and get a double cheeseburger off the $1 menu and get 8 times the meat. read more

Me and my fiance really wanted to like this place, but after several visits spending over the length of a year and a half where not a single visit was without disappointment we have given up. They have given us clearly not fresh food, gotten the order completely wrong, but the worst and last straw was last night. I ordered a mix and match combo with a triple berry margarita. The margarita was fairly watered down and didn't have any of the blackberries that it is supposed to come with to make it "triple berry." But it was livable and wouldn't warrant the review I am currently writing. That honor is given to the 6oz medium rare sirloin I had ordered. What I received was a very rare steak. I asked the waitress if she could ask the cook to cook it more and when I got it back the second time it wasn't cooked through anymore. All the cook had done was throw it on very high heat, burned the outside to a crisp, and called it good. We will not be returning to Chili's as they have proven to have low quality and standards for both their food and staff. read more

My colleague and I came here for lunch and noticed no one at the front so we walked around the corner to bar and the guy motioned for us to sit anywhere. The place had a hand full of customer. The first table was empty and clean so we sat and chatted. It seemed to take the host a while to come, so we busied ourselves with our anticipated order on the menu. Finally, the guy came took our order. We received a plate of chips and salsa, soon after, then drinks, which came without straws, that we had to ask for. When our food came, by then we were really hungry and wanted to dig in, but looked and looked, and ugh was without eating utensils. So we asked for them and it took a while to get FORKS! We chatted, finished our meal, and were WAITING, yet again for our check. Finally, my friend had to speak up, and at this moment, we were just ready to NEVER return!!!
