The person at the front door was very nice. He suggested we go into the lounge area to grab a bite to eat. So we found a booth to soy at & we waited for 2 or 3 minutes & was never greeted by anyone. I didn't even see a bartender behind the bar. On a side note the restaurant was cold. When we were leaving an employee was standing at the door. She said thank you & she hoped everything was good. I've been to this Chili's location more times than I can count and was a bit shocked to see it dawn such a low rating. This location, like myriad other Chili's restaurants, has very friendly and typically prompt service. I like that the menu stays fresh, consistently offering new (and delicious) entrees and sides. If you're familiar with Chili's ambiance, then you know to expect a 'familified' sports-bar kind of vibe, albeit a very clean and polished one! Worst baby-back ribs I've ever been served. So over-cooked they were brittle. My wife ordered soup. When it was served, they wouldn't provide crackers because, they said, they were out. Honestly been to surrounding chilis and always been disappointed with the quality of food. I usually just go for the cheap drinks to watch the games. First time going into the Smyrna Chilis location and it was clean for what i seen. Sat at the bar with my fiancé and service was good and attentive. We ordered the smokehouse combo, some beers and a triple dipper appetizer. Everything came in a timely matter. Surprisingly everything, but the ribs was, cooked well and delicious. Certainly far better than the Murfreesboro locations in my opinion. If i were to be in town again, I'd definitely go again. -Ultimate Smokehouse combo- Crispy nashville hot chicken crispers, half order of dry rub BBQ ribs, chicken bacon ranch quesadillas, street corn and fries. Enjoyed the flavor of the nashville hot chicken crispers. Not super sweet and had a small amount of heat. I was recommended the dry rub ribs with sauce on the side by the bartender. Unflavorful dry rub, and pretty dry rib as well. The bbq sauce helped it , but couldn't save it unfortunately. Maybe the sauced one would be better next time. Beyond disappointed! I ordered a double burger and fries, to go. I picked it up, and received the text that my food was ready after I picked it up. The burger was cooked well done but I ordered it with pink showing. It was so done that it crunched when I bit into it... not kidding. The one tomato on the burger was near 50% smaller than the size of the burger, it was cooked, and soggy. The lettuce was wilted and cooked as well. My wife & I loved this location...AT FIRST, but after today NEVER AGAIN. I made an order today for the both of us. I ordered Honey Chiptloe Tenders and my wife ordered White Queso & Fries which is good that usually get here(I guess you can call us regulars. Well when we get there I asked politely if our food was done. I told her my name the employee by the name of Kristi(she had glasses) on told me it was finished. I looked at the bag and politely said that we had another order which was mine. She then proceeds to say sorry but this is all we have. I said sorry but we ordered two meals and I would like to order mine since the previous employee that I spoke to over the phone did not properly place my order in. I also asked her if if she could remake my wife's order because it wouldn't be fair that my wife's food is cold because of a recent employee not placing my order correctly(but of course I said this in the most sweet and calm way), however she stormed with the bag showing her frustration, but when she got back I said I apologized if that upset you, but I just didn't think that would be fair since my wife's food would be sitting out. After 15 minutes I check to see where my family of 5 is, we were 31st. After another 5 minutes got an update saying they were busy than usual new wait time for that point was an hour, I had only moved up to 29th. After another 40 minutes I only moved up to 26th. Maybe train your employees better or use a system that has a better estimation than use your greeter guessing. read more

Went here expecting decent food and portions. 2 of us ordered the chicken crispers, it was like getting a kids meal in size and not at all like the "Original crispers" very disappointing that if you put the two meal's together you would have had the correct portion. Fries were good but too few. Corn on cob was very peppery. The third person got a specialty burger but it didn't have the same toppings as advertised (tasted good though) All in all 2 out of 3 of us felt ripped off with the meal and the third just didn't get what was expected. We were doing a bit of real estate research today and happened to be near the town of Smyrna. We decided to get some lunch and we thought we would try Chili's. It was a Sunday at about 12:15 PM and the place was not too busy, however things got busier quickly. We were seated immediately and our waitress was very nice. We started off with two bloody Mary cocktails and they were very good. They had nice flavor and just enough Vodka to cheer us up. I wasn't all that hungry so I poked around their menu a bit before deciding on my order. I chose Shrimp tacos and my wife ordered a Southwest Chicken salad. We were served relatively quickly by a kitchen food runner. I appreciate that because your food doesn't sit on a shelf waiting for your server to notice it. Our first impression was......wow! The presentation of both dishes was excellent. Everything looked fresh and both the salad and the tacos were loaded with delicious ingredients. I was very surprised because I was not expecting everything to look so good. My wife loved her salad and she said it was quite delicious. My tacos were excellent also. Like I said, everything was very fresh, the shrimp was flavored well and very tasty. All of the other taco ingredients were very tasty too. The food.....excellent. That was our very first trip to Chili's and after that experience, it won't be the last. I am not all that easy to please. In my opinion they did an excellent job. Came in for Sunday NFL ticket and lunch. You know the food is bad when the bar tender facilitates food from another restaurant delivered in for 6 patrons sitting around the bar as well as herself. Literally passed out each persons order and provided silverware and then proceeded to ask each of them how their meals were. In the bar tenders defense, the food was bad. Crispy chicken tenders were dry and chewy. When my food was brought to me by a young man he was pleasant and asked if I needed anything else. I said yes a side of Buffalo sauce. He said no problem and I never saw him again. After several minutes the bartender asked if I needed anything I said yes, a side of Buffalo sauce. She said I told them when I put your order in that you wanted that. I said yes, and I also told the young man who brought it to me. Oh, well he's just special she says.... Once she brought the sauce, she recognizes the patrons sitting at a table directly behind me and goes on having the loudest conversation with them. Like right in my face talking through me. Rude and just weird to be honest. I won't be back to any location because the last time I went to the location in Lebanon, the food was equally bad. Walked in around 9:20pm. The host/hostess stand is empty but to right of the stand I see a woman sitting in a booth texting. Wasn't sure if it was an employee, until I peaked around a little further and could see the Chili's logo. I am really trying to be patient with service industry workers so we stand there and wait. A couple minutes go by and she's still on her phone, so now I'm thinking she's not the host and maybe someone else is responsible to manning the entrance area. Nope, after what seemed like 5 or so minutes she stands from the booth, asks if we want a table and then directs us to sit in the lounge which is self-seating. Wasted time. We sit at a booth and notice another worker, we think he's the bar back or something, also sitting down in another booth on his phone. Again, several minutes go by with no service. The worker from the booth stands up and grabs a spray bottle and starts walking our way. He then so, so rudely reprimands us and tells us that we're seated at a dirty table. We attempt to move which is followed with a "I didn't tell you to move, I just thought the pads being face down on the table made it pretty obvious you weren't supposed to sit there but move your stuff." We try to explain that the hostess didn't say certain tables were dirty but he interrupted us and said "No, this is my section. She has nothing to do with this" ------------- We then left because at the end of dinner, I would be responsible for a tip and I can't even wrap my head around why someone would come up and speak to me like I'm missing brain cells let alone pay them for the disservice. Won't be back, but judging by the way we were welcomed into the establishment, I think they'd prefer that. read more

We visited around 9:00 pm and service was outstanding. The food was good too. I tried the margarita flatbread pizza and added avocado. I also had the Mexican street corn. It was delicious! We tried several things, and have no complaints. The Paradise dessert was also wonderful! I was worried that due to time of day that we would have slower than average service. We came here Sunday because it was my husbands birthday and this is where he wanted to go. I called the night before to make sure they could handle a party of 13 right after opening. The assured me they could. On Sunday I called on our way to the restaurant just to give them a "heads-up" that we we're coming. A young woman said she would let them know up front. When we get there the hostess says she doesn't know anything about us coming. The she leaves to go talk to a manager . She comes back and tells us it will be 5-10 minutes because they are waiting on s server to in. I ask politely if we could go ahead and sit since we we're blocking all the walkways. We would be happy to wait for the server at our table. She said no we couldn't do that. It took a bit but finally after telling the hostess multiple times how many were in our party, including 4 children and an infant, we were seated. Now for the best part! Jojo was our fantastic waitress! Not sure if it was the manager or her but they sent out 3 orders of chips snd salsa immediately as we sat down. It was great for the kids to have something to eat right away! Then she brought 3 orders of skillet queso, we had only ordered 2. Our soup came out right away and soon followed by our food. They sang happy birthday to my husband. The kids loved it! What we thought was going to be a bad experience turned into s great one thanks to Jojos customer service! My experience at this restaurant was sub par at best. The fried items I had tasted like the oil was burnt so when I explained this to the server I was told that management could not come out to listen to my grievance because the manager as well as the general manager were cooking. My food was also cold and I couldn't eat but half of the dish yet was charged full price because management didn't have time to address the issue.My server was not very attentive and I was told that was because a customer was passed out in the back of the restaurant and they were short handed. I came into Chili's after work just to grab a quick bite before heading home. I ended ordering the spicy jalapeno margarita which was beyond amazing btw. From now on that is my margarita of choice. For my appetizer I had the fried Buffalo cauliflower with blue cheese, which just so happened to be a free appetizer since I signed up for the Chili's reward program (which works with plenti). For my main entree I had the prime rib tacos which also had a deal going for them at at price of $7.99 instead of $12.99. The tacos also came with beans and rice. Now maybe I was more excited for the price of my meal, but everything tasted nice and fresh which was a pleasant surprise considering Chili's isn't exactly known a fine dining, but I will definitely be returning again. read more

After waiting 25 minutes (what we were told was the expected wait time), we went in to confirm we were in fact on the waitlist. For some reason, they never added us to the waitlist, and they made no effort to accommodate us for their mistake. They just offered to start the whole process over again.
