Nashville Hot Mozz - Small
Déjà J.

We went at lunch time on Saturday. The place wasn't too busy but maybe they were short staff. They were only sitting 4-5 tables at a time so we had about a 20 min wait before being seated even though the restaurant was nearly empty. We wanted to try the marg the month- witches brew. It was sour green apple flavored, overall it was very sweet & sour but okay. We also ordered food. I got a house salad & fries & others got the tripper dipper. I was able to finally try the viral Nashville hot mozzarella sticks, they were okay. I love cheese but it was a bit much. Overall I'm not the biggest fan of chilis food but am curious about the marg of month from time to time, so maybe that will bring me back in.

I had the most incredible time at this Chili's. The food was amazing, the deals on drinks were unbeatable and it was my friends birthday and the whole crew sang happy birthday to her. Our servers name was Emily!!! She was the best.

Walked in and it was busy and they said 20 min and we were the first on the list and they sat 6 families that were behind us all first. This is the worst customer service ever. I do not recommend ever going to chills on shakopee.

Terrible. Unmotivated employees. Tasteless and cold food. Go elsewhere. They don't care anymore.

Good food, service is okay, there's always a bit of a wait though most nights. Afternoon is a better time to visit.

To be fair, I did overlook that a special sauce already came with the order. At pickup, the hostess told me, "My manager said not to forget to charge you for the extra sauces." After clarifying what sauce was already included, I asked what the cost would be for the four extra 2 oz sauces. She said $3, and I paid it. Still, after already leaving a 15% tip on a takeout order, it felt a little cheap for management to make a point of charging for a few small sauces. The hostess herself was very nice and even said that if it were up to her, she would have just given them to me. The bigger problem, though, was the food. The chicken was bone dry, even if it was still hot and crispy. The fries and toast were both cold and soggy, and the toast was so salty it was hard to enjoy. Sometimes simple is better. Just butter the toast and leave it at that. I usually do not leave negative reviews, but between the awkward sauce situation and the poor quality of a $16 platter, I felt this was worth mentioning. This also was not an isolated issue. The only other time I ordered fries from here, they were cold and soggy then too. Since both visits were during busy hours, I expected better consistency, not the same problem twice. To be fair, not everything I've had here has been bad. The salmon bowl I ordered previously was cooked well and tasted good, and the service has also been good overall. The staff I've interacted with have been very nice. This particular platter, though, was disappointing.

Great service, food, TVs, free popcorn, it's in Groupon.. we go there all the time and we love it.read more

We were seated right away. They have TV on for sports and it can be quite loud (as expected) We did not expect it to be as loud since we had a baby with us. Bring headphones if you have a baby. Service was fast. Our server checked on us many times to make sure we were taken care of. Great service. To the point that I just finished my plate and he instantly took the plate away as well. lol Food all tasted good. Zucchini fries is soft in the inside and a little crispy on the outside. I wish it was crispier. Brussels sprout was good but a little burnt. Fish is crispy and good. The burger was good as well. Price is reasonable. Definitely worth going but just mind the loud ambient

We saw the burger of the month in December was a tater-tot hotdish burger online and man did it look like a 10/10. We drove about 30 minutes and ordered two along with a past and red sauce kids meals. While we waited we ordered a flight to try several options: the peanut butter bear was amazing, the cider / seltzers were good (Sherbet was the best) but the sugar cookie was meh. Once our good arrived a was already bummed as it didn't look like the photo. The burgers weren't cooked to order and overall there wasn't a lot of flavor for a burger with so much going on. I felt like it needed more goop....that's the best part of a hotdish, the glue. The past with red sauce wasn't well received but kids are kids. It didn't look amazing, but I didn't except much. With the menu being as big as it is I wouldn't mind coming back and trying something else, but I'm not in a rush to return.

I imagine it would be really nice in the spring/summer as there is a horse track right outside of the restaurant which would provide a great view to a race. It definitely got a little loud just sitting inside They had a large variety of options to choose from on the menu. They also offered a great and surprisingly extensive Happy Hour Menu which we got there in time to take advantage of.  We got the burger and thought it was very tasty, we love a good caramelized onion. I thought it definitely needed some ketchup to balance out the heaviness of the onions and cheese with a little bright acidity. I also thought the patties themselves were very good, thin with a slight crisp to them with a soft bun and melty sauces and cheese. Since it was a happy hour option the burger did not come with any sides like it would have as an entrée. We also got fish tacos and we were a big fan of the slaw and pineapple mayo which brought a balance of sweet and savory to the dish. Only came with two tacos (at least for happy hour) which might not be enough food if you're hungry. The hot smoked salmon was one of the more unique items we tried. The salmon itself was super tasty - salty and smoky just what you want. They use the smaller scraps of salmon that wouldn't work in their Wood-Fired King Salmon entrée and incorporate it into this appetizer which is great sustainability-wise! The salmon came with a creamy ricotta, salty capers, crunchy crostini, and sweet and acidic pickled red onions. We liked this combination a lot but felt it could have used even more sweetness/acidity, maybe just adding a couple more onions to the dish. We really enjoyed the 'Garganelli' pasta dish. It was creamy and indulgent with pieces of lobster and freshly shaved parmesan on top. The chili added a really nice layer of heat but wasn't overpowering. The server was nice enough to split up everything we had over the evening to share (which explains the two small portions in the photo). MN Mule - 8/10 Pretty average but solid mule. However, it was served in a plastic spam cup which elevated the whole experience. Margarita - 9/10 Very good margarita - we were told it was a house made margarita not from a mix. Very bright and fresh flavors that definitely let the tequila shine. Overall would definitely recommend!
