My husband and I have became regulars at the Chilis bar. We enjoyed their monthly flavors margaritas the last few months. The chips and salsa are delicious. Our go to order is usually the 3 for me or the steak with loaded mash and broccoli. I do like the Cajun pasta with shrimp. The service is always quick and easy. It gets busy in the family room so we always opt to eat at the bar. We meet friendly regulars at the bar which is nice. The gentleman bartender Justin. The food and service were awful. The chips were over salted, I have beef and shrimp fajitas, they weren't good, the shrimp had no flavor and the beef was just awful. My husband had the chicken sandwich, he said it had too much pepper on it. We're very disappointed in our experience to the point we didn't order the dessert that I wanted. read more

This was my first time at a Chili's in a very long time, just never really on my food radar. Typical chain food, nothing outstanding. I was surprised there was no chicken fried steak on the menu. Disappointing since that is what I was in the mood for. However, I got the fried chicken sandwich instead. It was "good" or "ok" but nothing jumped out about it. The wait staff were nice but did forget to bring our chips for the lunch meal so they came with the meal and didn't really want them anymore. They did offer to give us new teas to go, which was a nice deal, so we took them up on it. read more

I came here with coworkers and I came in very hungry. When we arrived, we were quickly greeted and seated . The table and chairs were clean. The menus were not sticky. The wait staff was prompt to ask out drink orders. Soon after our drinks arrived, we ordered with every question answered. Appetizers: the wings on bone are cooked perfectly. The tex max rolls are a bit mushy. The brioche buns on the sliders are bigger than the mini burgers. The triple bbq platter is huge. Pork ribs well flavored. The fries were pre flavored with salt and pepper and tasted SALTY. The fried chicken tenders are also salty and the chicken meat were CHEWY! That's ok, the service was nice and the manager checked on us so it balances out. They refill our drinks so I'm good! All in all, I'll be back. Stopped in today to take the family to chilis after our granddaughters all star game since it was close by this restaurant. And to our surprise!! Johnny was our server again. I went to this location to have dinner with my wife and my six year old daughter. We arrived at 8:20 pm. and were quickly greeted and asked if we wanted a booth or a table. We responded a booth. Then we were told there were no booths available and sat at a table in the bar area. Perfect place for a family...... After sitting down, we realized it was extremely loud in the bar area. My wife asked the greeter if we could wait for a table in the none bar area. We were told that area was closed. Although there were multiple groups of people in the area. The family enjoys ordering out on the weekend and Chili's have a wide variety of food. Depending on the day/time it can be a long wait and at times our orders have had mistakes ( For to-go orders: missing drinks, missing sides, uncooked shrimp, etc). If you order with doordash can get credit for missing items. If you do a pickup, be sure to check your meal before leaving. Eating in can be a long wait on Friday/Saturday evenings. You can wait in the car or inside. During the week, I have been able to get a table with no wait during lunch. It's great to enjoy a quick lunch during the week. read more

Chili's had gone downhill so bad that the food became a joke. After years of refusing to eat at any Chili's we went for lack of options and convenience. I'm glad we did. We were shocked at how much it has improved. The service is as good as possible for how busy they are. Like I said, there are not a lot of options around here. As a dedicated Yelper, after visiting this location of Chili's, i had to run to make this review. I've visited the Forum Chili's and FM 78 Chili's location. However, the Schertz - Cibolo location has been the best customer service I've had thus far in this area. I frequent at the other two locations and always get mediocre service. So, my family and I were in the area celebrating my niece's birthday. I walked in hoping this chili's location would be different from the others. So, I came with an open heart of optimism. The hostess opened our door and greeted us so politely. She asked us what kind of seating we preferred and we've never been asked that at other locations. She sat us in the back near the kitchen, but my mom didn't want to sit near the kitchen. We asked if we could sit somewhere else and she was so nice to sit us in a different spot. Once we sat down, we were greeted in less than 1 min by our waitress, Mercy. Let's just say we got "Chick Fil A" stellar service from her the whole night. The food came out fast, she didn't mess up our order, she was super attentive to our needs and drinks (which is a plus for me because i love water), their manager, Matthew, was amazing and checked up on us to see how our experience was. You all are doing amazing work and i could feel the light atmosphere when i walked in. I can say my family and I will definitely make an additional 10 min drive to come back to visit bc this is now our favorite chili's location. I hope I get this right but I believe our waiters name was Will, he's a bartender and was working around 11 pm on Thursday 7/11. That server is one of the best servers I've had in so long, he stays on his work game, taking care of quite a bit of people as well as being so kind and sooo attentive. Great service sir, you make people like me, anxiety ridden, enjoying going out for some good food. The host didn't say a dang thing lol hi or bye but that's usually a starter job so I get it, hopefully she finds her customer service skills because it definitely pays off later. Just went here on Sunday May (26) to this location. I'll admit I have received excellent customer service. The waitress and hostess were so nice. My only issue is the quality of the food. We had ordered our fajitas and our guac was brown but I let it slide because everything else was good. My other issue was the inside of the restaurant the floors are just so slippery you have to be careful walking and the bathrooms just weren't the cleanest. Came on a busy night after calling ahead. Me and my party was told it be a 30 minute wait. After 40 minutes my friend stood up and asked why we hadn't been seated (they sat two equally large parties of 7-8 while we sat in the waiting area) the manager in a green polo literally looked above us as he discussed seating a party that was just walking in. Absolutely the worst service Ive ever seen at a chilis. We came with a larger group so we knew it will be a wait for things, but this was just bad. Our orders were messed up, ordered a full slab of ribs, got a half slab and missing sides. Ordered chips with queso, got chips with salsa. One of the waiters spilled water on my wife and was pretty much like oh well. Server didnt check on us, ran out of drinks several times, and had to wait over 30 minutes to get the bill, which was also messed up. The ribs were extremely dry and tasted like junk. When I told the server, she acted like she didnt really care. I will say the tripple dipper and the quesadilla explosion salad were good, but the service and constant problems were that bad to make it a one star. This place just keeps getting worse. Today I literally had odd stuff in the cheese they gave out. My friend wondered if it was recycled. There was black and red stuff in the shredded cheese. And a corn kernel from who knows where. Corn wasn't in any of our meals. Our server avoided us and never asked how the food was, I'm assuming because he knew something was wrong. I don't really understand why, it's not like it's his fault if the kitchen messing up. I didn't get it. I rarely complain about food. I didn't say anything and I really should have. Surprised it's currently rated a 2! There was no wait, drinks came promptly, appetizer arrived shortly after. Had enough time to finish about 3/4 of app. Before our meal came. All good was warm, delicious, and quick. Service was great as well, very attentive and friendly. Greeter didn't give the warmest of smiles to us but later we saw her give a grand smile to a baby, so maybe we didn't give the greatest smile to her and she reciprocated. Came here as I was staying in the Fairfield Inn next door. I sat in the bar area as the first NFL game for the season was going to be playing. I ordered a beer and my meal. My drink and the food came out fairly quickly but I wasn't in a rush. While I was waiting on my meal, enjoying my beer, my waiter brought me an order of chips n salsa. The game was about to start and someone switched the channel to a special about the Patriots. People at the bar started to get mad and started complaining. Shortly after the kickoff, the channel got switched back to the NFL game. I enjoyed my meal and my waiter was friendly, attentive, and spot on. I already sent a comment to the generic Chili's website but want to make sure y'all know if you are going to place an order for delivery, prepare to be disappointed. I placed an order for spinach queso and another for guacamole which each should have come with chips and salsa, but when the order arrived, only the queso and guacamole were in it. I ordered a 10 oz sirloin with loaded mashed potatoes but received a 1/4 cup of potatoes. The picture is my salad which as you can see consists of only iceberg lettuce.
