If Chilis could talk,it would tell so many stories of my many family visits there,the dynamics have always changed over the years-sometimes it's the wifey and I,sometimes kids come along,sometimes it's my mother and I,sometimes a sibling might be included and other times it might just be everyone. But no matter who is with me,one thing I can almost always guarantee is that we are going to get a solid meal at a solid price and always have a great time in a pretty fun environment. Let's talk about this recent visit-the wifey and I were running around and forgot to grab lunch,so we decided to stop by the Chilis in Natomas on Truxel Rd. This restaurant has plenty of parking as it shares a lot with many businesses-so always a breeze. As usual when it's just her and I,we made a beeline for the bar area and found a table. Our server Michael made the visit very memorable as he went above and beyond making sure we were taken care of.He checked on us many times to make sure we had everything we needed,he also explained the current "3 for Me" options to us as well as making sure our Diet Coke and waters stayed filled. As far as food goes,I ended up going with the 3 for Me for $10.99 option that came with their Quarter-Pounder dupe burger along with endless chips and salsa and a Diet Coke. A really incredible deal if you ask me. We also had a couple of beers-A Blue Moon($7.89) and a Michelob Ultra($7.19). The burger ended up coming with a side of fries. I was surprised how solid the burger tasted especially at that price point I must admit though-my favorite part of every Chilis visit no matter what I order,I love the chips and salsa-they always are great-so tasty-the salsa is so good-I'm just glad I haven't figured out a way to take these home or else I'd never leave the couch-love em!! We had such a wonderful experience at Chili's today thanks to our server, Katie! When we first came in, our toddler was having a meltdown because he wanted to stay by the water fountain outside. Before we even had a chance to settle him down, Katie immediately knew how to help. She asked if he wanted to color, and just like that, his entire mood changed. He was happy, which meant happy parents, and we were able to relax and enjoy our meal. Katie was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. She made sure we had everything we needed, and we also noticed she gave the same level of excellent service to all of her tables. It's clear she truly cares about her guests. Solid Mac and cheese for a food chain. For a Saturday evening and due to the area, this location was jamming. It had a constant flow of people. Yet our food came out really quick. During the wait for our table my mom's sugar started to get low. As a diabetic this can quickly escalate. This is the ONLY Chili's we go to. When we are craving a burger or chicken tenders on a budget this is our go to spot. We always order the 3 item combo. I ordered a watermelon lemonade (it was a little to sweet for me), smash burger and chips w/ salsa. My husband ordered basically the same but with a Dr.Pepper and upgraded his side to the dip trio. Our daughter ordered the the Dipper platter and got southwest egg rolls, chicken tenders and fried mozzarella. It was quite busy but we didn't have to wait to be seated or to order. Our waitress came by and introduced herself as Alisha. She smiled and was very friendly. I don't always remember my waitress name but this time I did. It's not my favorite place, but does the job for large groups with all different tastes. They get a 5/5 for customer service. They were really attentive, but not overbearing as they looked after our table. She was available for refills and side orders that we made during the meal. She also let us split the check 4 ways which is probably why this place is on our regular rotation with this group. They have some great lunch specials. Not all burgers, they have salads, and bowls too. Last time everyone got the burger and said it was really good. I got the bowl and it was really good. So much better than the salad I got last time. The only downside was 3 of us got the potato soup and it was luke warm. There is no excuse as it was not hot. It should come straight out of a pot. We were all too polite and didn't say anything, but it was a real disappointment as I love baked potato soup. I've seen the cheese pull online so of course I had to try it out. To our dismay, there was no cheese pull. It was a busy Thursday night! Maybe the mozzarella was sitting out for too long. That was a huge disappointment. It was a nice honey chipotle flavor but it was also a bit overwhelming after the first few bites. Also, y'all know they charge to play games on those little machines at the table?!?! I didn't know it would incur a charge otherwise we wouldn't have messed around with it. My good friend and I have had lunch here several times over several months and sit and chat and chat and chat. We sit in the bar and have had the same server - she not only remembers us, she remembers our orders! Exceptional. We have ordered the special burgers that come with fries and a side. EXCELLENT VALUE! My burger comes out PINK, just like I ask for it, hot and juicy. Fries are screaming hot like they should be, too. My salad is cold and plenty of bleu cheese, friend's soup is hot and yummy. Our drinks are kept filled and we could not feel more welcome and at ease. We are never rushed to turn the table. From the second we sat down, she was incredibly welcoming, high-energy, and genuinely attentive. Even though the restaurant was busy, she made us feel like her only table. Our drinks stayed full, the food came out hot and exactly as ordered, and she had the best recommendations for the menu. It's rare to find someone so professional and friendly who clearly takes pride in what they do. April truly turned a casual dinner into a fantastic experience. One thing that I love about this location is the ability to check in on Yelp. This feature is nice. Maybe because this is located in Natomas, but this place gets BUSY! We always try and sit on the bar side with open seating when possible. I do love that Chili's offers this. The employees working make sure to get the quick turn around so patrons get the opportunity to be seated and waited on quickly and efficiently. You cannot go wrong with the southwestern egg rolls and the 3 for me. Chili's has some great food, drinks and some cool employees who make sure their customers are taken care of. read more

I finally fell victim to the cheese pull trend and decided to try Chili's in Natomas on a busy Friday night. We ordered the platter because that dramatic cheese pull looked too good to pass up. Yes... the pull was there. But the flavor? Overwhelming. Everything was SO heavily seasoned and drenched in oil that it became inedible. And trust me I love seasoning. But this was next-level sodium. Even the chicken tenders were overly salty and greasy. My mom ordered a steak, and unfortunately it was so dry it might be competing with my heels. It had zero juiciness and was tough to get through. To be fair, it was a packed Friday night, so I understand why the staff didn't come by often to refill drinks. The restaurant was clearly busy, so I won't fault them too much there. The worst part? We all ended up with stomach aches after. We barely touched our food, and that says a lot. First of all the place was clean and inviting. We were seated right away. The staff was very friendly and approachable. My wife and I agreed that this was far better than the other Chili's we've been to. In addition to the friendly staff and clean environment The server was very attentive and made sure our drinks stayed the way we wanted them and was not intrusive on our conversation. We came in here mostly for drinks, and I gotta say they don't disappoint. The Patron margaritas we got were really sweet and came in four flavors, strawberry, mango, watermelon and blackberry. I personally liked all four flavors but the water melon was probably the best. I also got the Cajun pasta with chicken. I was expecting it to be spicy but it's pretty mild. But it's still very good. What brought me here was a news story on the web about how Chili's is fighting fast food places like Micky D's for customers and using their superior food and lower prices to say, why have fast food out of a bag when you can have Chili's for less and be served? I came with a friend and he ordered the same, we both went for the Caesar Salad and Smash Burger with fries, (you could have mashed potatoes but that's weird!) I had a diet coke and he had iced tea. Service with right on and the server took our order fine. Our salads came out first. Smallish bowels of salad and dressing on the side. It was a decent salad, bigger than it looked at first in the little bowl. Then our Burgers came, very attractively plated with fries and burger. I ordered mine pink (med rare) and it was cooked as ordered, which is hard to come by these days with burgers. I cut mine in half so I could pose the food for pics! ... of course. My first bite into the burger was very good. No flame charred flav cause it's cooked (smashed) on a flat top. But a very decent burger and I will say the meat was a better quality then most chain restaurant burger meat. The 1000 Island dressing used makes it taste sort of like In N Out, but actually better. I'd give the burger a 4 star rating. The fries were hot and crispy, 4 stars. Service was 5 stars too. If I taker into account the price of this deal ... it's a 5 star meal for sure ... you guys need to get down to Chili's and try this deal out. I usually do not leave negative reviews and but had to because this has been a horrible experience. This Chili's is disappointing and I do not recommend coming to this establishment. I have come to this restaurant since it is close to home and I grab a bite with my family. I have a few things to disclose regarding the business and multiple incidents. My family and I felt discriminated against during our last visit. We waited for over 30 minutes to get menus and service after individuals who were seated after received their food before us. We waited over 30 minutes for a salad my salad as well as my uncle had no croutons and no cheese. We then waited an additional total hour for a burger, that was dry, overcooked, and unseasoned, I am guessing they precook them and serve as customers enter. After disclosing our concerns we were told by the serve there's only one of me and she pretended to not hear us. The manager was then argumentative after we discussed our concerns. Our server never returned to the table until it was time to bring boxes, which we did not need because we had barely touched our food. I also have discussed my concerns with this restaurant regarding minors sitting at their bar, as I witnessed a seven year old sitting at the bar. I believe this should be looked into by ABC. I am a fan of Chili's and usually have a good time, I will not be returning to this establishment. Avoid this branch of the company!!! read more

The male hostess at the door clearly hates his job, he dragged his feet annoyed as he seated us, put down the menus and in a whiny voice said something hardly audible and walked away. Pet peeve of mine is when you get quoted a time and then as soon as you arrive it's different. Now I can see if you arrive 10 minutes or more later but when you are at the light and pull in 1 minute later? Doesn't make sense - it's like they are baiting you. Checking in through the app at the light right before the parking lot. Got a message saying you are on the waitlist. We can seat you right away. Park and walk in within the minute. As I check in with the host and advise I did the check in through the app, he clicks through it and he somehow can't find me. Then he says, it's going to be a bit before he can seat me. I'm ask what a bit is - 30 minutes. There is no one listed on the app before me and no one in the lobby. I just don't get the 30 minute wait. Couldn't wait, so we just left.
