I am beyond upset with the service we received from Emily at Chili's in Plantation. From the moment we were seated, she was completely non-attentive and shockingly rude in the way she spoke to us. It felt like we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers. She barely checked on our table, and when she did, her tone was dismissive and unfriendly. Our food didn't even come out as we ordered it, but honestly, because she was so rude and so slow the entire time, we didn't even want to deal with asking her to fix it. That's how uncomfortable she made the experience. Dining out is supposed to be enjoyable, and this was the exact opposite. The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy was unbelievable. We will NEVER go back to this location. In fact, I made an entire Yelp account just to make sure corporate is aware of how absolutely AWFUL she is. Chili's is underrated in my opinion! It always hits the spot. I love their quesadilla explosion salad. I get it with the honey chipotle chicken crispers. I had a casa amigos watermelon margarita and it was just okay. I've had better margs elsewhere. Our server was very sweet and attentive, checking on us regularly even after it got busy. This location is pretty good! I usually order takeout from here from their 3 for me menu, which offers myself more than enough food. The orders usually take 20 minutes or so. Delivery also is about the same duration. Though have had a couple hiccups on missing drinks when doing Delivery and despite informing them and being told I'd get a credit for the drinks that would come in the next few days but never received that. By the time I realized it was too far past when I first called, so just be mindful if you ever do delivery from here. The food isn't that bad and is extremely filling with everything you get. We arrived around 2pm and it wasn't packed at all, but it took a few minutes (maybe 3) to be acknowledge and seated. I haven't been to a Chilies in 9 years, but today I had the urge for their southwestern egg rolls and after one bite, I remembered why I haven't been back in 9 years. Talk about awful. The food is stale and salty, and there's a cloying salty aftertaste that's chemical, yucky. Bleh! So bummed and disappointed. The food is overcooked, over salted, should have gone to Publix instead. My arteries are hardening and blood pressure sky rocketing as I right this. And the Southwest egg rolls used to be a major highlight. So sad! It's terrible how the company has allowed/encouraged the food's depreciation. Went to order the 2 for 1 and the bartender informed us that they changed their happy hour menu and it is now from 3-6pm with $3 beers and after that it's full price. My favorite chili's location! The service here is amazing! We always get seated and attended to instantly. We received our drinks and appetizers so fast. The food was good and came out hot. I enjoyed the chicken crispers a lot, I do recommend them! My family and I always go to this chain and they are fairly consistent in all aspects. Let me start with the highlight of the visit: our waitress, Tara, was phenomenal. Attentive, accommodating, and genuinely kind -- she's the reason this review isn't lower. Five-star service without question. Now, Chili's is my daughter's favorite, so we're regulars. I usually stick with my go-to: the eggrolls and the quesadilla salad. It's a reliable combo that I've enjoyed for years. This visit, however, was... off. When the salad arrived, something didn't seem right. At first glance it was hard to tell, but thankfully I noticed before pouring on the dressing -- they had served me honey mustard instead of the standard dressing. No big deal, mistakes happen. While waiting for that to be corrected, I took a bite of my cheese quesadilla, which was unfortunately cold, soggy, and overloaded with cheese. I asked Tara (bless her) if that could be fixed too when she came back with the correct dressing. As for the salad... where was the salad part? It was just a mound of cheese with some lettuce hidden underneath. I normally devour every bite, but this time I found myself picking through the cheese trying to salvage something edible. I let Tara know -- not to complain, but just so it could be improved for future guests. What happened next really soured the experience. A gentleman (manager, maybe?) came over to "address" the issue. Instead of acknowledging the feedback, he basically lectured me about how the salad is made "to spec" and maybe next time I should order the cheese on the side. Mind you, I've been eating this salad for 20 years -- I know what it's supposed to be. His tone was condescending, and frankly, he smelled bad, which made the interaction even more unpleasant. The attitude matched the stench. All in all, I'll probably be back because my daughter loves it, but this visit was disappointing -- saved only by Tara's excellent service. Although the establishment was clean, the service was sub-par and the quality of food has fallen below average in comparison to where it used to be. The food is decent, you are for sure getting what you pay for but I think if you want a quick meal you can pop into this location anytime because it always seems to be empty. When I got here with my friend, we made our way to a booth near the bar and were greeted very quickly by our waitress. I decided to just grab a beer and some chips and queso for my visit and my friend ordered the chicken tender meal. The food all came out very hot and really quick so that made me happy. The chips with the queso was okay, they are too thin here and I think I won't get them again. Some chips also were so overly salty that it was inedible and I needed to get new chips to enjoy my queso with. The drinks are always good but to me they never seem to be strong enough but like I said, you get what you pay for, if you are buying lower priced mixed drinks you wont get that much of a kick for the price. It rained the entire time we were there (and Florida gator gushers can be pretty substantial). While we were eating our meal, I watched as the restaurant manager, Winnie (?), walked literally dozens of people to their cars, protecting them from the pouring rain with her umbrella. She got soaked in the process, of course, but she kept on doing it. We ordered a delivery order through the CHILIS WEBSITE and it was sent through door dash ( who obviously is the only one who is partnered with this location for delivery) we ordered a very large order and was missing our largest (most expensive) meal. It was my son's 10th birthday & all he wanted was the surf and turf & of course this was the one missing. We winded up driving back to this location (after paying for delivery because we have family in town celebrating my son) and the manager completely shut us down & stated we had to deal with it through door dash ... we literally ordered it through your website ! I always forget how much I love Chili's. My sister and I stopped in for a quick dinner last night. We were seated quickly and decided to split the triple dipper and a molten lava cake. The app came out quickly and our server put in for the dessert after we finished. Both were very good! I love their homemade ranch sauce.
