Pretty normal experience for a chilis! It was very busy on a Friday night. There was a bit of a wait, but it seemed like the staff discouraged us from waiting because of the wait time. It didn't bother us, so we stayed. The place wasn't exceptionally clean. But the appetizer came out on time and the skillet beef queso was pretty good. I like the unlimited chips. Hello chilis. I wanted to let you know that I had the worst experience of my life tonight. I was eating my triple dipper when I had raw fucking chicken. I swear to god it was pink. I'm so disappointed. I tried to throw it up in the bathroom. It was so disappointing. Nothing will change this experience for me and I will be letting everyone know about it. They also rummaged through the rest of the triple dipper and then handed the rest of the plate back to me after putting their filthy hands on it with no soap in the bathroom. In the best way, Chili's always sounds better than it actually turns out. My husband and I were craving appetizers as the Chili marketing game always seems to get us. We ordered the triple dipper with sliders, wings, and the mozzarella stick. The mozzarella sticks are no joke, they really are that big. They were definitely a fun treat. For entrées, I got the chipotle crispers with a side of mac & cheese, and my husband got the barbecue plate. Shout out to Chili's Ranch as it is always amazing. A group of friends and I popped into Chili's after an event at the Oakview Mall, and it was surprisingly high quality! We've been to many other Chili's before, but this was just our most recent visit. We shared a handful of apps, as this was just a pit stop for a snack at an off-hour of the day. Our server was very friendly and attentive at refills, answering our questions, and being an expert carrier of many dishes at once. We had the chips and salsa (complementary), but added the queso on top of that. Their queso is delicious with little bits of beef in it and a smoky taste vs. the yellow nacho cheese you sometimes see passed off as "queso" with chips. My go to apps are the Southwest Egg Rolls and the Chicken Quesadilla. These are listed as apps, but if you get this for yourself, it is definitely enough for a meal. The Southwest Egg Rolls are little towers of tasty black beans, spinach, chicken, peppers, corn, jalapeño, and cheese. They come with an avocado-ranch dipping sauce that is heavenly. Ask for two of those and some sour cream and you are in business. Their Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadilla is pretty good too. It comes filled pretty packed with chicken, cheese, bacon, and their homemade ranch inside. It also comes with some salsa, and sour cream on the side, as well as the same ranch that's in the quesadillas. Again, definitely ask for some extra sides of ranch for the dipping! Last time we went, we also tried the Secret Sauce Burger, and it was pretty good. Just an excellently cooked burger with their secret sauce (similar to Big Mac sauce), American cheese, lettuce, and onions. It's a good classic burger similar to a Big Mac but a little higher quality on the grill aspect. I know Chili's is obviously a chain, so a lot of their other menu items are ok/meh, but these are my faves that I can recommend. If you're near a Chili's, they're an ok option for a quick bite that's pretty affordable. read more

It has been quite a while since I've been to this Chili's, because I live quite a distance away, unfortunately. But, I have been really craving them lately. When my sister and I would go there, we would always order the big smasher burger and the chips and salsa, and they were absolutely perfect every single time. Best burger I've had since I can't even remember when. It's been years, literally. And the chips and salsa? Yum Yum Yum is all I can say. The chips are always nice and crispy and WARM as they SHOULD BE, and the salsa is excellent. Plus, I am not necessarily generally a real salsa fan, but I do love theirs. Came here for a spontaneous Mothers Day meal and with a short wait of only 10 mins at 5:30 all was good. I maybe visit here once a year or less but not for any reason. Tonight was very good. Our party was 6, but I only will speak of my and my daughters meal. She got the salmon and really enjoyed it. She had it gone in minutes. I got she "pick 3 for $20.99". I got lemonade, chili and the chicken bacon ranch quesadilla. They were all great. I appreciate the smaller pieces of quesadilla over the larger pieces you normally get elsewhere. SORRY--LONG RANT! Going out to dinner is my husband's and my treat after a hard week. The food was good (but pricey), service was not bad, but the ambiance......UGH! We were seated in a booth not far from the kitchen. This is about 8:30 on a Thursday night. The kitchen staff must've thought OK, the rush is over and we can PARTY! The music coming from the kitchen was, let's just say, offensive to my senses. I asked for the manager and she said she would tell them to turn it down. They didn't. Five minutes later, I heard her YELL "Turn it down!!" which resulted in a bunch of grumblings from kitchen staff. They STILL didn't turn it down. Maybe five minutes after that, the restaurant music from the speakers overhead was CRANKED so loud I could barely hear my husband speak, but I could STILL hear the music from the kitchen! The waitress apologized and said when we pay the bill at the little kiosk thing on the table, there's an option to leave a review. Yeah, they give you 600 characters and that's it. (Since I am long winded) it cut me off about a third of the way through what I was going to type so I just gave up, thinking I'd do it online on their website. Well it's STILL 600 characters and after spent ten minutes trying to narrow all this down to fit, it errored out when I hit the submit button. I guess they really don't want to know or care what their guests think. I told the waitress as we were walking out (not insinuating it was her fault or doing) that cranking the music was NOT the right thing to do. She said yeah, they've been having trouble with that manager (who was a tiny gal--100 lbs soaking wet and very meek). She did and said all the right things, but just didn't have the "Oomph" to command any kind of respect from a bunch of rowdy guys. So what I wanted to add to my cut-off comments online was that they have a staffing problem, and it's not the manager. The kitchen staff has really screwed up priorities--their enjoyment (of music while at work) rather than the PAYING GUESTS' enjoyment of their meal, and absolutely no respect for authority, regardless of who it is. Sad to say that even if this message reaches Chili's corporate, they probably can't or won't do anything to those guys in the kitchen since it's so hard to find workers these days. Due to a lack of staff, the 3/4 empty restaurant had a 30 minute wait. While we waited for our table, we decided to pass the time with a margarita at the bar. I hate to say it, but they were gross. Good combination of black beans and corn made a nice start. For my main event it was the full rack of baby back ribs, not least to get the street corn side. Where are they getting corn that good this time of year? Roasted, sweet, excellently dressed. A great complement to the ribs. They do ribs quite well. Haven't been to Chili's in decades but was influenced by seeing the 3 for Me special on social media. A couple friends and I are meeting monthly for lunch and decided our first lunch would be at Chili's. It smelled really good but the experience and food was average at best. The waitress was very pleasant but each order had something wrong. So definitely there were issues communicating to the kitchen. Most of the issues were corrected by asking for the items that had not been received, taking the croutons off the salad with the ranch, giving them to the one who had the blue cheese, etc. However, the burgers had burnt edges that some might call charred but tasted simply burnt to me especially when the burger is served without a bun and the asparagus (that cost extra) was way over cooked and very tough. But, I was most disappointed in the seasonings. I asked for no extra salt or seasonings to be added due to health issues and there was a TON of VISIBLE salt all over the food especially the vegetables. My friends enjoyed their chicken sandwich and burger more than I did. But even my friend who had broccoli and doesn't watch her sodium commented on how much salt there was on her food. I thought it was ironic that I ordered my cheeseburger without cheese and a bun but they up charged me a dollar for ordering (overcooked) asparagus instead of broccoli. The good news is that you can get a cheeseburger meal with a drink and a bonus side for 10.99 which I think is better than McDonald's. But bottom line, Chili's is the same was it was decades ago...ok but nothing to write home about. read more
