As an update to a previous review, I am removing one star for a steady decline in service as well as food quality over the last few years. I used to be obsessed with this place but over time, they haven't been able to maintain the consistency I look for an a restaurant. I feel like something changed with their pizza crust. I used to rave over their pizza and the toppings are still pretty good, but the crust somehow is softer and blander, and it gets soggy after sitting out for more than 20 minutes. Not sure what's going on there. I also used to love how fresh their burgers were, and how they came out so juicy and perfectly cooked with a little bit of pink in it as I requested. I don't know if they switched to frozen burgers or are just doing it differently now, but they don't feel as handmade. They come out a bit on the dry side now. Unfortunately, I've also noticed that service isn't as friendly as it used to be. It used to be a lot more of a neighborhood vibe. Now the servers seem agitated and treat you like an inconvenience at times. read more

Been here a few times but I wouldn't consider it a go to for Bennington. Food is very mid- it's alright but lacks flavor sometimes. The menu is also all over the place with burgers and wraps but also crab Rangoons throw in there? It's a good atmosphere and service is also consistently great. read more

My wife (Miss Piggy sends her regards, hi-YAH!) and I stopped in one night for dinner. The food? Well... it was fine. Pretty average. Nothing to sing a banjo ballad over, but solid enough that I didn't feel the need to leap back into the swamp afterward. But then we noticed something: Green Bay Packers gear everywhere. I mean, everywhere. Jerseys, signs, helmets, cheese-head vibes oozing from the drywall. As a Wisconsin-leaning amphibian myself, I naturally asked, "Oh! Is this a Packers bar?" They replied (enthusiastically and without hesitation) "Absolutely. We're a total Packers bar." ...my little froggy heart fluttered. Fast forward a couple weeks. My wife and I suit up in our jerseys, ready to shout for the green and gold with our fellow fans. We hop in, grab a table, order food and drinks, settle in for kickoff. And when the game starts? NOTHING. No Packers game. No sound. No broadcast. No nothing. I ask the server, "Hey-ho, where's the Packers game?" And they say (like it's totally normal) "Oh, we don't have a sports package. We just put on whatever's broadcast locally." ...huh? How do you call yourself a Packers bar when you can't even PLAY THE PACKERS? That's like running around telling everyone you're a frog and then refusing to touch the water. We'd already ordered, so we had to shovel down our food like two frantic woodland creatures, toss some cash on the table, and bolt across town to a real sports bar. We missed the entire first half. Do you know how long that is in frog time? Practically an epoch. So, will we be coming back? Well... let's just say it's easier bein' green somewhere else. Final Verdict: Decent food, misleading vibe, and a sports-fan experience slipperier than a mossy log. Probably won't return. Hop wisely, friends. read more

The food was great and on time. Our waitress Zoey was also great. We got there at 805 pm and saw the kitchen closed at 830 but Zoey told us no problem and we were impressed by our burgers and margaritas. While in NE visiting family we stopped at the Warehouse with our adult kids. It was a very comfortable place and we were sat straight away. Our waitress was fantastic, giving honest opinions when asked (I typically ask what they like or not) We started with the loaded nachos which were delicious and huge, plenty for a group. Fantastic first visit! My Mom and I were driving from UNMC in Omaha back home to South Sioux City when we found this place and Yelp and decided to stop to eat. The pictures people added was what helped make our decision. It's a huge 1-room warehouse-type restaurant with a small half horseshoe bar and tons of seating. I noticed it's a Packer's bar! #GoPackGo We didn't drink anything other than water, so I won't be commenting on the bar or alcohol side of things. The menu was big and offered bar food, comfort food, pizzas, and had nightly specials. We were on a Wednesday and there was a wing and pitcher combo. We weren't drinking so we each picked our own plate. I had the chicken bacon ranch wrap, minus tomatoes, and it was amazing! I needed additional ranch, but I'm a ranch freak. That last star I awarded was because their ranch is so good. I wish I could have taken a bottle home. My Mom got the open faced Turkey sandwich and it was good. The sour cream gravy was good, but I don't think I would have liked so much of it. I'm very happy with my food choice. Waitresses were nice. Bathrooms were great. We're going to make this place a more frequent stop for when we travel to and from Omaha on the NE side. read more

I ate out with my family and we had terrible service from the moment we walked in. The hostess was rude and gave attitude when we asked to move a tables together for our larger party. Once we got our table and our waitress came to us, she was rude and disrespectful. After we ordered our food the one of the little kids didn't get theirs till everyone was done eating. When my food was brought out it wasn't right. Two other family members complained about their food not being right. After we got the bill we asked for the manager to comp the unwanted food. I don't know where to begin....so let's go to the end. I have never, ever, had a worse steak, edge to edge full of gristle. I tore only two bites from it. And It wasn't that I couldn't chew it, I couldn't cut it. I returned it for a burger. But did they take the steak off my bill? Nooooo. They discounted it. I refused to pay for it. They reconsidered. Both the steak and the burger had a burnt flavor rather than a sear. Awful. I did not finish the burger. The onion rings had no flavor. Overall I felt like the place is run by an accountant, one more concerned with cutting costs rather than offering value. From cheap, low grade meat to tiny napkins to thin, cheap onion rings and a refusal to turn the heat on, this place is a cheap downer. And it's too bad. I ate there a few years ago, and it was excellent. I predict that if they don't change their management attitude, they are dead. read more

Went to the Warehouse today for lunch, got there at 12:30 and we were the only ones seated for lunch. (The bar had 1 person at it having a beer). Rather surprised considering every time we drive by it is busy. My husband and I each ordered the Angus Melt, a 1/2 lb burger with sautéed onions and peppers and swiss cheese on grilled marble bread. The burgers came out well done but not dry and were very tasty. Service seemed a little slow even though we were their only customers but overall a good filling lunch. The menu is huge, everything from burgers and pizza to mexican and hot dogs. Almost too big in my opinion. I heard about this place from a friend and finally went. Wow! We ordered the Country Fried Chicken and Chicky-Chicky. Both were so good. The battered chicken was hot, crisp, perfect. The mashed potatoes were obviously homemade and made with effort, not just an afterthought. The homemade salad dressings (blue cheese and ranch were our selections) were spot on. The beer was cold. Today was my first time visiting The Warehouse. I will most likely not be going back. It's not because of the server, our waitress was very nice and efficient. It's not because of the food, it was ok, 3.75/5 for flavor & presentation vs. the price. All 4 adults had the St. Patricks day special. It's not because of the restaurant itself, it was clean, even the bathrooms. Though I do prefer paper towels over a hand dryer, I never mark any place down for that; I know that's just a preference. The one star is because of the owner. In my opinion she needs a course in customer service. Here's why: As we were finishing our food and drinks, the owner sent a young girl over to our table to ask us to leave because they had a party waiting for 20 minutes. Here's how that conversation went: Young girl stumbling over her words, clearly completely uncomfortable with the task the owner has given her. Me asking, "What are you trying to tell us?" Her apologizing a few times before finally asking us if we needed anything else, and if not, there is a party waiting for our table. Then her apologizing a few more times. She clearly was uncomfortable asking us this. And I don't blame her! The owner should have never asked anyone to do that and especially not such a young girl. I let the girl know we were trying to leave, we had our bill and we're waiting for the server to pick up our payment. She apologized again and let us know the owner wanted her to ask. I was really unhappy, I've never been asked to leave a restaurant before. We were there for 1 hr and 15 minutes. We were not lallygagging, we were finishing our meals and trying to pay at the same time. I was a server for many years and always try to leave as soon as possible, I know the server relies on tips and the more tables they get the better they are paid. I got up and found the owner. I asked her why she sent a young girl over to ask us to leave. First she told me that she didn't, that was a lie. She tried to get out of the awkward situation she put herself in. She said she just asked her to go over to see if we needed anything else and if we didn't to let us know they had a party waiting. I replied with "so you asked her to ask us to leave". This is when the owner switched from dismissive to provoking. Her body language and tone of voice was very unprofessional. I told her she was not making the situation better. Then she aggressively said, "I'm sorry, very sorry." I responded saying I wanted a real apology and I wanted her to know that sending a young girl to do this was inappropriate. These young kids are just starting to work and intimidating them the way she does is not right. I let her know what happened was no way to run a business. She should have talked to our server if she wanted us to leave. Our sever would have been able to tell her she had just given us the bill and we'd be out soon. This whole thing could have been avoided. We would have left happy. Instead we took more time to leave and more of the owners time because I always feel the need to address an unfair situation. I'm not satisfied with the owners non apology. I will only be satisfied if she realizes she made a mistake. She handled a busy holiday dinner the wrong way. She did not do well by her employee nor her customers. read more

A sandwich was ordered without cheese due to allergy. Waitress brought with cheese and immediately apologized advising they would make a new one yet anyone at the table could eat it. We waited another 45 minutes for the correct sandwich yet didn't complain as the waitress was busy. When we were charged full price for both sandwiches, we asked for some compensation as we hadn't requested the original incorrect sandwich. The manager, Chris, advised us that as it was eaten we had to pay for it. When explaining the situation, she continued to say rudely 'it was eaten' and did not apologize. The point isn't the $13 charge yet the rudeness and lack of respect they exhibited. No apology yet she did say the waitress shouldn't have told us it was ok for someone to eat it. We have heard from others that they have bad service yet wanted to give them a chance. We won't be back and will take our business where they treat people with respect. read more

This is a response to Jordan's comment regarding the TVs. There are 6 TVs in there and they had 5 TVs on basketball and only turned 1 TV to wrestling. Yes, it's March Madness hence 5 out of 6 TVs being on basketball. However, it was NCAA wrestling championship so many customers wanted to watch. read more

My husband and I have given this place a shot a few times now. Recently, we went for March madness to watch the KU game (along with 90% of the customers). The owner insisted on turning on wrestling and blasting it across the speakers even after multiple CUSTOMERS asked him to turn back on basketball....since it is March madness....he decided that would be a good time to come tell us and a few others at the bar that he pays the cable bill (not his paying customers apparently) and would watch what he wants. I've never seen an OWNER of an establishment act so unprofessional. I never leave reviews but this deserved one - he is GOD AWFUL and deserves no one's business - let him continue to pay that cable bill by himself! read more

This place is great. They have delicious food, a big menu, and really good tatter tots. The prices are reasonable and it has a nice neighborhood bar atmosphere. I do like how the meals are served on metal plates. That was a nice touch and the service is great. Since Sportsman's in Bennington went out of business, this was the next best up and coming spot at the time. Have you ever had a raw tater tot.... they weren't cold in the middle but they were soft and the actual name on the menu was "crispy tots". The French fries looked and tasted like I'd imagine those fries taste that you find between your car seats. It looks really cool on the inside so the expectations were high. We stopped in for lunch today and had a really nice meal. The daily special, chicken enchiladas with beans and rice, had my husband's enthusiastic approval. My son enjoyed the prime dip which looked great, and the tater tots were hot and good. I had a black and blue burger which was cooked right, and had just the right combination of blue cheese, onions, and bacon. What a great place in Bennington to go have a beer and enjoy great company. Seven dollar pitchers of Busch Light all day everyday. Pair that with live music on weekend nights and it can't be beat. Oh. My. God. Never in a million years would I think a little bar and grill in the middle of nowhere would be this good. The pulled pork burrito was SERIOUSLY FABULOUS.
