Food is made fresh. Beers are cold! Really this place is amazing for watching any sporting events.

We split a chicken wrap that was nicely seasoned along with sweet potato fries. We also tried salmon avocado toast (off brunch menu til 2pm!). The toast is thick slices covered with creamy avocado spread, slices of smoked salmon topped with fresh avocado slices, onions , cucumber, radish & a dot of sauce..see pics. This was Super fresh & yummy!! There's plenty of staff working to keep you happy while you're here! Another Great experience.

Thankfully, it wasn't too busy. We got seated right away and had Dawson as our waiter who was a natural. He was polite, genuine and timely; however, at a certain point you get tired of asking how my food is less than 3 minutes after we received our food. Give us some time before you come back 4 more times with the same question. Dawson was great, but our meal felt so rushed- which I didn't appreciate. We had a small nacho pail which was very good. My husband's reuben sandwich and onion rings left a lot to be desired. I chose 6 chicken rings with garlic teriyaki as my sauce. I enjoyed them. Dawson brought the bill before we finished and did not ask if we wanted desert. I asked for it, paid for a scoop of mediocre ice cream for my "Black Out Chocolate cake". Okay guys. I understand the chocolate overload- but dang.... the overload of Hershey's chocolate and one split Reese's cup took away from a cake that could have been delicious alone. Overall, I did not find the staff were very friendly or customer oriented. I enjoyed Dawson, but he could stand to work on not making customers not feel so rushed.

The service itself was good, although the waiter messed up the table behind us order which was entertainment in itself hearing the waiter handle that situation. The double dipped wings were a bit dry and chewy, and the Thai chili bourbon sauce wasn't very flavorful, more so tasted like an Asian bbq with more ginger and garlic with almost no sweetness. I'd maybe come back for the buffalo wings since they had a spice kick to them but the dryness got to me. The burger was also just okay, the bun was thin and almost soggy? But on Wednesday all burgers are $8 so maybe worth the stop for the deal. The ultimate nachos didn't have much flavor for how much was on top of them. Lots of cheese, they put all the spicy toppings on the side so you can personally control the heat levels which was nice. The lighting is a bit dimmer in there and if you're looking for a place to watch some sports they got lots of TVs and projectors so everyone can watch the game of their liking. That would be the only case I would recommend some come to Oscar's. Otherwise I'm headed to Tracks for Omaha's best wings.

First time at West End Omaha and I'm already plotting my return. Showed up yesterday on a random…read moresnowy afternoon while visiting friends in the area--heard nothing but good things, and wow, it delivered. Walked in around 2:30 pm on a total snow day and basically had the place to myself, which was kind of perfect. The vibe inside is exactly what I want in a bar: dark, moody, a little sexy, with dim lighting and rich wood tones. Total escape from the bland strip-mall parking lot outside. Night-and-day difference the second you step through the door. Happy hour runs every day until 6 pm (huge win), so I grabbed the Toasted & Roasted martini for $9--yes, it comes with a toasted marshmallow garnish that actually works--and it was dangerously good. Sweet, smoky, strong... one of those drinks you sip slowly because you don't want it to end. Paired it with the buffalo chicken sliders + fries and demolished everything. Sliders were spicy without being overkill, sauce was on point, and the fries were perfectly crispy. Service was friendly and quick even though it was quiet, and the bartender checked in just the right amount. Prices felt fair (especially with happy hour), and the whole experience just felt... cool. Like the kind of neighborhood spot you brag about finding. Already texted my local friends that they've been sleeping on this place. West End Omaha, I'll be back--hopefully next time with a bigger group so we can try more of the menu. Highly recommend!

I was really impressed with the large cocktail menu, and I was so happy that they had quite a few true mocktails since I'm pregnant. I tried the virgin spicy marg, which was great and definitely spicy! I also had the brisket quesadilla which was very tasty. Thursdays is 25% off if you show your teacher badge :)

I FAR prefer the standalone Blatt locations to the one in Flagship Commons at the Westroads Mall…read more (I like to get to sit down and eat there when I am paying the same for the food if I order at the front, but they said no to that.) ANYWAY, this location and the one downtown are standalone locations, and as I said, I totally prefer that. I like to have a server, sit down, and ask questions if I have them, etc. This location is always bustling, maybe a little too much, that it almost feels a little frenetic and anxiety inducing. The food is pretty basic bar food - burgers, salads, and a few others like fish and chips, and the like. The service has been good and the drinks are always nice and fresh and cold. That is where they shine, the beers and drinks. So I'd say if you visit any Blatt, definitely choose an in person one, and don't expect too much from the food, if you are not a fan of bar fare.

The same consistency I receive for togo orders is present within the walls of their establishments, as well. A lively bar spot with anything but basic bar food. The menu isn't the deepest but what they do, they do well. I've been a long time fan of the chopped salad - simply because the dill ranch is literally thee best dressing. The chicken tenders are a fan favorite and I will not order the salad without them. It's not the fanciest, or the most original but you will not walk out of here unsatisfied. I would try anything off their menu without hesitation. They have a vast beer menu, a few cocktails to choose - but please add an espresso martini to that menu, folks! I know, not original, but you'd make money off of it *wink wink*
