Wicked drinks
Rachel V.

Ugh when you go to Chili's with your girls for a Wicked movie pregame and the drink is gross. We ordered the green and pink Wicked drinks and a blue drink was delivered to the table. I had to ask the waiter why the drink wasn't as pictured and it was only then that he mentioned they ran out of sour apple syrup. Our waiter was just as underwhelming as the drink. Just very dry and looked like he didn't want to be there.

Chilies with friends and family

Forgot how chili's always hits the spot. True bang for your buck. Clean restaurant inside. Favorite dish is the fajitas. Server was kind and he brought out our appetizers and food out quick. I came on a Halloween night so it wasn't so packed inside which was great no wait time.

Them talking in the corner about us

Service was horrendous. We sat at the bar for over 20 minutes without being acknowledged and this was at 11 when there were only 5 others sitting at the bar, not busy at all. The bartender was rude and made faces, and made our drinks with 90% mixer, I watched her make them. I returned mine politely, and she rolled her eyes which annoyed me. We had ordered chips and salsa as well, which at chilis there is a big pan of the salsa in the back and a huge tub of chips that the server portions out themselves, I know because I worked at chilis before. 20 more minutes passed and still no chips and salsa, she was just cleaning and closing the bar since we walked in to try to leave earlier. That's fine, but the attitude wasn't necessary at all, she kept shrugging her shoulders too. A customer stole a margarita and went outside to the car with it full of alcohol, I alerted the server and she shrugged and said that "it's not my problem, nothing I could do about it" when at chilis and most restaurants, you aren't allowed to let them leave because if they drink and drive and get into an accident, it would make them responsible and the restaurant liable. That's why they don't give you alcohol to go. I could ever hear her talking crap about us with another server/manager and they looked over at us while doing so as well. Talking about how the bar is closed so she doesn't have to make us anymore drinks, but we weren't intending to order more, just wanted our chips and salsa. Very uninviting, uncomfortable, and unprofessional. I canceled the chips and salsa, we paid for the one drink and left. I'll attach a picture of the employees involved.

My Bacon Guac Crispy Chicken Sandwich with fries

My fiancé surprised me with a lunch that was really delicious. I had a cocktail (the flamingo breeze) that was super tasty. I should've had 2. I also ordered the bacon guacamole crispy chicken sandwich with fries. It was so delicious. My fiancé had the quesadillas but not spicy. And we shared the chips and salsa to start. The service was pretty good and the ambience was kind of loud because of course it was Friday. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who's in the Kendall area. 2 thumbs up.

Hi yelps! local to the chilis in Kendall, FL on 88 street. I love the new remodeling they did and upgrade to the menu, food and to go! the ambience of the restaurant is family style, loud, usually packed but great service. The drinks are delicious usually. I like the classic margaritas. I MUST is their egg rolls! my husband got the sirloin and it's good with two sides. Another menu gems is the chicken enchilada soup, fajitas, ancho salmon is delicious! good local family spot.

The chicken tenders with honey spicy sauce was amazing. The egg rolls were also delicious!

The food was so delicious and fresh. The Margarita rimmed with Tajin was refreshing. Our server Jean was super attentive. The Molten cake could have used more ice cream.

I remember when i used to get excited to go to chili's when i was younger. I'm not sure what happened but things have changed. It's always packed so waiting for a table wasn't too bad. 30 minutes after we put our names down for a table, we got a high table and we put in our appetizer order and drinks almost immediately. We got the drinks 15 minutes later and the appetizer took 40 mins! Considering it's probably frozen food, it shouldn't take that long. The food was okay. I liked the honey chipotle crispers and the ranch was good. Once we got the appetizer, we ordered just the honey chipotle crispers and waited another 40 minutes for that meal. The food was pretty good, honey chipotle sauce is definitely my favorite sauce. I could hardly bite into the cob corn because the kernels were so thin, i'm not sure why, so i was practically nibbling on the cob. I ended up having 3 bites and then i stopped because the effort i was putting for the tiniest kernels was not worth it. While we were eating, i saw a server walk around eating some gummy bears and then shoving it in his back pocket before getting to a table. I gave it 3 stars because of nostalgia and because they have games playing on the tv which i liked. They have several TVs and they're loud enough where you can hear the games but not too loud where you have to yell to have a conversation. I also have always loved their honey chipotle sauce.

This chillis is really understaffed, so anytime you need anything it takes really long. Food isn't as tasty. I hope they can improve soon.

Went during lunch time. Great service, only downfall is the fact my server didn't tell me his name! Other than that good quick lunch.

The tacos are always on point. Perfectly cooked tortillas, generous fillings, and bold, comforting flavors that feel homemade in the best way. The birria-style tacos were especially satisfying, rich and tender with just the right amount of crisp on the outside, paired with a flavorful dipping sauce that takes them to the next level. Simple, messy, and exactly what you want a taco to be. The sides hit too. The rice and beans are classic, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care, not an afterthought. Everything on the tray feels balanced and filling without being heavy. What really makes Taco Rico special is the vibe. It's relaxed, low-key, and genuinely family-friendly. You can take your time, enjoy a beer, have a conversation, and actually hear the people you're with. It's the kind of place that feels like a neighborhood staple rather than a trendy stop. If you're looking for a reliable, no-fuss taco escape on Bird Road with consistently great food and a calm atmosphere, Taco Rico is it. This time around, I ordered the bean tacos and a taco salad, and both were pretty good. Everything tasted fresh, and the flavors were solid. The sauces were also good--though not as spicy as I personally prefer, they still added a nice kick. Overall, it was a solid experience and definitely better than I remembered. It may not be the most standout Mexican spot, but it hits the spot--especially in an area where options are limited. I'd probably order delivery again!

I'm always getting chips & queso, so figured I'd mix it up with fries. While I liked the fries, the queso felt a bit thin and not very flavorful. Like it seemed they just mixed in a little fresh pico de gallo for the flavor component. Chips & Queso w/ Beef: The classic is much better than the dipper fries. Felt like there was more queso with the beef upgrade. Also, the thin chips let you focus more on the yummy cheese. Cheese Enchiladas w/ Red Sauce & Green Sauce: I love cheese! Like when choosing between meat or cheese as a protein, I usually pick cheese. So the enchiladas scratched that itch. Both sauces were nice, though not that memorable. The rice and beans helped fortify the meal, since the main enchilada portion felt a tad small. 3 Way Fajitas: This was an awesome fast casual dinner for two. Came out in an oversized mound of proteins, onions and peppers. While you could have created mixed fajitas, I did separate waves. The shrimp was tiny, springy and nicely flavored. The steak was the star, with that classic fajita chew. The chicken is nicely spiced, so more exciting that regular chicken. It came with guacamole, cheese, sour cream, rice and beans to feel like a real sizzling fajita plate experience. But it was the salsa bar that really livened things; I especially favored the green salsa.

It's a pretty cool spot And this location in Pembroke Pines hold up to the standard of the original. We walked in early lunch hour, it wasn't busy yet. We did our usual and got a couple spots in the bar. This always pays off as we get service quick. The fella on shift was a nice guy. he got our drinks quick, and the chips with our choice of salsas. we got salsa fresca which is always good, the creamy jalapeno,, and added the guacamole as well. It's nice that you got that all for free. We like to do that and then get enchiladas to go. Which we did(along with some tacos as well). It was a nice stop in, just wish we had one closer to home.
