First visit to a chili's in a long time, and I can honestly say that I was impressed! I ordered the 3 for me which was such a great deal. A side salad, burger with fries, and a drink all for $11! Time to deep clean this place. Floors and tables are gross. Waited over 45 minutes for our food tonight and there were only a few other customers. They forgot half our food and we never saw a waitress again until she came back with the bill. Love their food but they need to make some changes. When we walked in, we were told to wait because the person was wiping down tables in the bar. After waiting for her to wipe down a table, she wanted to seat us in the bar area. when we asked to be seated in the regular dining area apart from the bar, she seemed upset we were bothering her. As she showed us to the dining area, she said we'd have to wait a while so she could wipe down a table. There was hardly anyone in the place. Bottom line, after waiting a while longer, we left, walked next door to Rivera Maya where we were immediately welcomed and seated for a great lunch. I have always had good aervice and good food when visiting Chili's or using Curbside-To-Go. Tonight was different. I visited the restaurant around 8pm and was promptly seated in the bar area. Employees are wearing masks and the seats are distanced properly. After waiting 10 minutes to place my order, I ordered a beer and food from the 3 for $10 menu. I ordered chips and salsa with a Just Bacon burger and fries. 7 minutes later my chips arrived and my server. said "Oh, I forgot your beer." My chips were warm but appeared to be the bottom of the bag because there were maybe ten full chips. The rest were all crumbs. (Pic attached) My food came out and the toppings on my burger were wrong. I was able to pull the tomato off as well as the lettuce. I was given kwtchup in a small cup that was either enough for the burger or enough for the fries, but not for both. The fries appeared to be the bottom of the bag as well. Most of them were not longer than an inch. Usually my service and food are top notch. I hope that this night was just a rare occurrence. read more

My son and I went into Chili's in Lafayette, Indiana with some friends this past Sunday evening. I ordered the chicken enchilada salad and my son ordered a brisket burger. We waited an hour for our food. I paid for my son and my meal with a credit card at the kiosk at our table. I thought the bill was a little high, but didn't question it, as we were ready to get out of there - my mistake. When I received the email receipt, I noticed they had also charged me $12.29 for a cheeseburger and fries, which we did not order. I went back in immediately and asked for a refund of the $12.29. I was told that it would take up to 2 weeks to get the refund back on my credit card. Ridiculous!! I won't be dining there again. read more

HORRIBLE! My fiancé and I went on Valentine's Day and they were decently busy and we had horrible service but the food was good so we decided to try it again tonight. We went on a Thursday night and it wasn't busy at all. We got seated and our server came over and took our drink order and brings us chips and salsa (the only good thing we had to eat). We order I order the triple dipper which was three appetizers and he ordered a burger both of which shouldn't take very long at all. We waited OVER AN HOUR and went the whole time only seeing our server once. Finally she came and said she was gonna check on the food and was gone for other 15 minutes finally brings out the food. When I tell you it was the nastiest thing EVER my fiancés burger bun was so soggy and gross it fell apart as soon as he picked it up and all of my food was cold and soggy. We finally get home and I feel so sick after eating that food. WILL NEVER be returning here payed almost 50 bucks for what looked like slop food at my college dining all is better than this. While being a chain can keep people away, this Chilis nails it. You can tell the GM takes care to have his staff kill it. He personally came out and talked to us for no other reason but to be sure our night was going well and we were happy. I know that is the job, but some people and places excel at it. Big shoutout to Chili's today. We were a large group with a lot of order additions/requests. Our server Kobi did a wonderful job handling everything-I'm sure it wasn't easy. He kept checking on us & even stopped by long after the meal to see if we needed anything before he left for the night. The food was 100% in every way. My family loves Chilis and unfortunately this was a very poor visit. We had a very demanding and blatantly rude server that told me that my wife could not order first because she wasn't in the correct position at the table and that I needed to remember that for next time. The server was dripping sweat the entire time and never refilled our drinks, saying they were too busy. He brought out food that we did not order and came back asking what we ordered because we didn't place our food orders in the correct sequence for him to remember. We were ar Chilis last weekend. Horrible service from our waiter. When we were being seated, he dropped many dishes right in front of us. He could have used a tray instead of overfilling his arms. When he brought drinks to our table, he gave us the water sideways and spilt it all over the table. He never offered napkins or a wrag. We had to wipe it up. Ok, so we are from Texas where Chili's is our go to for a quick sit down meal, but never again to this one! Nobody came to take our order until I stood up to find someone after 15 mins. Honestly a very disappointing experience. We were seated fairly quickly (they don't take call aheads) which was a plus. Our waitress was a disaster. She wasn't busy, only had one or two tables, but constantly provided poor service. Waited ten minutes for silverware and water Waited 45 minutes for our appetizer (singular, we ordered two and she brought them out fifteen minutes apart) Constantly forgot to come back to check for water. At one time I called out to her three times for a water refill and she still didn't bring it. The food was also disappointing. 2 out of the six of us ordered pasta which came with Texas toast (it was very burnt), two of the others ordered salads and they put so much dressing on the salad that it was absolutely soaked. When we paid she told us that we could leave. As we were walking out the door she came back to us and told us the card didn't go through and that she didn't check the first time she told us to leave. This place is a bit of a hot mess. We stopped by for a couple cocktails before we returned to our hotel for the night. We were the only people at the bar, yet the counter was dirty with food remnants of previous diners and nobody stopped to wipe anything down. A diner requested to speak with the manager because he had "his worst experience ever." The staff was completely hidden away somewhere as more people came and sat at the bar. This was extra weird. I get that this is Chili's and ones expectations shouldn't be too high, but this was even lower than low expectations. The place needs a good scrubbing. We used to Love Chili's, but this Lafayette location Chilis has gone to CRAP. The food is below standards, smaller portions, overcooked, poor seasoning. The place is filthy! The absolute worst is the staff, absolute poor service. During our last visit we asked for napkins, well we finally got them (we had NONE) at the end of our meal AFTER we both were done eating and then were brought a huge stack. Really we were already done with our meal when we finally got a single napkin! The salsa was so hot compared to the usual (we used to eat here ALOT so we are accustomed to the perfect taste). My wife and I haven't been to chili's in years. Since we were pre teens. Our experience at thus chili's was awful. We were sat at a table that really wasn't cleaned. There was wrappers and napkins all over the floor. The ceiling was dripping on us cause it was probably 60 degrees in there. We ordered chips with salsa and guacamole and queso. It came with bean dip instead of queso and the salsa was tomato paste. We got our food and I love to cook and I can tell that the fries were off. Weeks or months. So dry and cold.
