First off I said, I already know how they roll, I'm not gonna worry about a review. But you changed everything. Yelp, you don't have enough help, it's 15 tables open, but we still waited 15 mins. Hannah came over to offer beverages and it was satisfaction from that point on. Thanks Hannah! Now about this food. This food so good tonight. Very disappointing experience. I've been eating at Chili's since the 80s, at the original Chili's in Dallas. This Chili's is nothing like the original, to be sure. The restaurant smelled like a dirty dish towel. The decor was void of any personality. The hostess was sloppy and generally blasé about her job. It took our server 10 minutes to even speak to us. When she brought back our drinks, the sodas were terribly flat. Our server said that she knew about this and asked if we wanted water instead. First, if she knew about it, why serve us flat drinks!? Second, there was no attempt to correct the problem, on a Friday night no less! Our chips were stale and cold. We also did not receive an offer to refill our chips. Our food was mediocre. Overall bad experience. Whatever corporation took over Chili's has systematically ruined what Chili's once was. It is now soulless and the food is mediocre at best. read more

Was my chicken hurt my teeth to eat. It was really rubbery and I've never had it like that, we had to ask for napkins never received silverware. the waitress was nice, but I think the training needs to be better on how to handle customers and how to greet customers napkins we had to ask for a refill for the drink refill which we never got the refill could do better.. not to mention they were changing the table displays she asked if I would hand her ours so she didn't have to reach over the table. I've always been a fan of Chili's but haven't been to one in a few years, I know that in general restaurants across the country are in trouble and Chili's sadly has also been on the decline just as most of these types of restaurants have been in recent years. I decided on a recent work trip with some coworkers to stop at this location just outside of Birmingham for lunch on a Sunday and after our visit I think this particular location may have one foot in the grave and if they don't do something soon then both feet will be in. It was early when we arrived for lunch and we weren't even sure this place was open because of no cars in the parking lot and a sign on the door, Google said that it was open so we pulled up by the door to see if the handwritten sign on the door says closed, it didn't, it said that one of the doors was broken and to use the other door, while waiting for them to open I noticed a couple other cars driving through also thinking they were closed due to the sign. I'd wager that the door didn't just break and that it's been broken with that janky sign taped up on it for a while now. Once inside there were just a couple other people in there at this point, the place seemed to be pretty well staffed but the employees seemed less than enthusiastic about even being here, no one greeted us, the hostess was looking at her phone. We were seated, the waitress was pleasant and did a good job and the food was average. Now that's about all I feel the need to say about the food and service but wanted to point out in this review what I see as a customer that is wrong with the place, it's not clean and no one seems to care, There was plenty of staff standing around waiting for I guess the expected lunch rush and they were doing nothing much from the looks of it. As we were sitting waiting I noticed things wrongs that are easily remedied if only someone cared and took pride. The things that I saw in my 45 minute visit, there were multiple light bulbs out, that looks terrible and is an easy and cheap fix. There are large glass windows between the dining area and the bar that go almost to the ceiling, the glass was dirty and very noticeable, it's not hard to grab some glass cleaner and microfiber cloth daily to make sure these things are clean but no one seems to care. There is bad, stained and chipping paint on the walls and trim and dust on the ceiling fixtures, all of that could easily be painted and cleaned. Before we left I went to the restroom, it was fairly clean but needed an update and guess what, that early in the day and there were no hand towels, who's job is it to make sure the bathroom is cleaned and stocked. Management and/or owners seem to not care and as such this place probably won't be around much longer. A total makeover and tens of thousands of $$ is not necessarily what is needed in this place, just some general housekeeping goes a long way, I would never go back to this location. read more

Was watching the March madness games and the station was changed twice without consulting other customers watching when the games that it was switched to were on other tv's. The appetizer took several minutes to arrive. The waitress was inattentive and we had to flag people down for refills, silverware, condiments that should have been there on our arrival. The ribs tasted as if they were reheated in the microwave. Don't usually write reviews but it was not busy at all here so I feel this was unacceptable. We used to go to Chilis every weekend but the service started to slow down. If you place a to go order for curbside, you'll have to walk inside to get it. It happened to us three times. We called and they told us no one was available to walk it out to the car. One lady was working the phone, front desk, & curbside. The only reason we had chosen curbside was because we were sick. They are remodeling I think, so they weren't really busy. It was 4th of July also. No music playing and very few people there. The food came out pretty quick. The Buffalo chicken pieces seemed like they had been in a warmer for a while or warmed in a microwave. I believe they were. The southwest rolls were good. Hubby got a steak and he said it wasn't bad. Food was great but they messed up our orders twice and forgot three of our sides that they never got us during our whole meal but they didn't charge us probably because the waiter forgot and didn't write our orders down.
