I never expected to be writing a review for any Chile's in any state in our great union. This is the kind of chain I never go to. Oh, years ago, when I first discovered it in Florida, I thought it was the cat's meow. But then I grew up, my taste buds got more refined, and a looked in disdain at the name and the people who would patronize it. If anyone had told me I'd be giving this place five stars, I would have thought they'd had a psychological breakdown. But here we were in Flagstaff, on our way to Sedona. It was raining and cold. It was late-ish. The first place we tried to go to had just closed. We wanted to take a break, eat some dinner, and be on our way. So we decided to "slum" and stop at Chili's. What a revelation!! We decided to go with the 2 for $20 special, and started with the Guacamole and Chips. Stupendous! The chips were light, crisp, and not overly salted. The guacamole was a huge portion, bigger than what you'd pay $10 or more at a high-end restaurant. And it was better! It tasted freshly made, with big chunks of avocado, tomato, and onion, and well-spiced. I had Margarita Chicken, and it was very, very good. There were two pieces of chicken, and after all that guacamole, I couldn't finish it. Hubby ordered Cajun Pasta with chicken, but he didn't want the Alfredo sauce it came with. No problem - the waiter cheerfully said he could get it with marinara sauce. Despite the fact that we weren't drinking anything except water, and our bill was going to be relatively small, our server, Chris S., was attentive, helpful, and just downright nice. We were on our way to stay at a timeshare resort, so we knew we'd have a fridge. Chris brought the box for our chicken, and offered to pack up the chips and salsa (which was also very good) too. We should have gotten an order of guacamole to go, but thought of it too late!! I'm hoping that the Flagstaff Chili's isn't an aberration, and I'll be trying it out in a couple of different states soon to see if they know something in Flagstaff that the rest of Chili's doesn't know. I hope not!! read more

I swear I don't know how these guys do it... every time we go there they're absolutely packed to the rafters. By all rights, the hosts, wait staff, etc. should be showing signs of fatigue and exasperation judging by the way they run their butts off, but nope... each time we've visited, the staff has been cheerful, the service has been prompt, the food has been good, and we've walked out stuffed (but not "stiffed"). We went to Flagstaff (about a 2.5 hour drive from Page) the other day to do some shopping at the Home Depot. As usual, the traffic was absolutely nuts, worse than I've ever seen it, plus we were pulling a 12' flatbed trailer, which made us extra paranoid seeing as we're not used to city driving anymore. Anyhoo, we're digressing... So, after doing our business at Home Depot, which required quite a bit of heavy lifting on the part of my DH and DS, the boys were "starvin' like Marvin." DS was craving "the biggest burger he cound find" and DH concurred. Initially we'd decided on the Wendy's across from the Hasting's/Bookman's shopping center, but the place was jam-packed and we weren't keen on waiting half an hour or more for a fast food burger, so we decided on Chili's, and were glad we did. As I alluded to before, Chili's was crowded too, but the hostess told us we could expect only a 10 minute or so wait. They gave us a pager that both vibrated and lit up when our table was ready - that was a new experience for us coming from "out in the stix." The wait for a table turned out to be only 5 minutes if that, and the assistant manager of the restaurant seated us. Our waitress, who was very cheerful and efficient, showed up soon after with our drink orders. DS did settle on a burger, DH ended up ordering fajitas and I got their "Triple Dipper" appetizer as a meal (as usual, 'cause I can never make up my mind). Our orders arrived in a timely manner, and were good and hot. DH and DS both enjoyed their meals (and polished them off in short order), as did I. The only complaint I had was that my Southwest egg rolls looked like they'd been under a heat lamp for a titch too long, plus one of the nearby tables was never bussed the entire time we were there. Otherwise, yet another pleasant meal was enjoyed at Chili's in Flag. read more

Went in not expecting much. I've been to "Chili's" before in Hawaii, quite a few times. We were VERY lucky to have Loren as a server! She is one the most honestly heart warming people you will meet! She made what I expected to be just a meal near the hotel on vacation, to a high point of the trip to Arizona. I will also add, the country fried steak was spectacular! read more

Chili's - Country Fried Steak. - American Near Me - Flagstaff, Arizona

Reasonable lunch prices and fantastic service. Our waiter noticed my wife and I were crying. We had suddenly lost our beloved dog hours earlier. We shared the story of what happened. The waiter and management offered us a free dessert of our choice. The experience made a very trying day a tiny more manageable and it showed they cared. If you are a animal lover, so are the 4 managers and staff that work here. Thank you, again. read more

Not their best night. I am visiting friends in town and we decided to go to Chili's. In a nut shell the service was not to their usual high standards and our waitress was over committed or very forgetful. It took 15 minutes for the drinks to arrive and refills did not occur without flagging a different staff person down. The meals were not correct. In their defense, it was the night before Thanks giving and so I am sure the management must have had issues staffing tonight and it was evident. I really would have given them a no star but I think I should give them grace on the day before Thanksgiving. read more

I am visiting from Tucson and as a vegan there's not a lot of restaurant options. I ordered my usual vegan tortillas, rice, beans, and guacamole with alcoholic drinks. They have curbside service and the meal was perfect and the service quick. The only issue I had was the app didn't let me give the 5 stars so I wrote this review. Chili's has great food and service I highly recommend them. read more

Went there twice. First time was fajitas. The vegetables were put on the fajita skillet raw in the kitchen and were suppose to be cooked by the time they were carried to your table. Hard and not even warm. No flavor. Bad service. We had to wait for 15 minutes for change. I guess the waiter thought we would give him a $20 tip for bad service if he delayed giving us back change. Second time ordered the rib eye steak. We have had steak in other chili's and it was cooked over fire grill. Not in Flagstaff. It looked (grey) and tasted like it had been boiled in water. Nasty. Screw me twice Chili's....Never again! read more

Our waiter was friendly and courteous, but that's about all I can say about this location. We frequent Chilis and this was a horrible experience. We waited for twenty minutes for drinks, of which we had to remind our waiter three times for a soft drink, and over an hour an fifteen minutes for food to show up. At the time food was delivered only four out of five dishes arrived - the fifth dish arrived with only half the items, which were only delivered after guest finished meal. Food was mediocre, not hot, and had been sitting somewhere in the kitchen. There was another long wait for the dessert to come, which we would have skipped except it was part of our meal deal. Unfortunately I can't recommend this location - understand that places are short staffed but this was beyond frustrating... a two plus hour endeavor for meals that take maybe 10-15 minutes to organize in the kitchen. Manager did come to the table to help us but seemed rushed in that - leads me to believe they were dealing with other problems within the dining room. read more

Stopped in for dinner with my boyfriend the other night and we were not impressed. We've been to other locations but this one wasn't the greatest. Due to recent health problems and allergies, my diet is extremely limited. It's a pain finding restaurants on vacation we can both enjoy. So I figured, Chili's must have something I can eat and we will both be happy. Not exactly how that turned out. Our server was nice, and I know how difficult and annoying it can be trying to accommodate someone with diet restrictions. But, you also need to understand that those people need the assurance they will be taken care of. I settled on the salmon, told her my allergies (so the kitchen or a manager would be aware), and that was it. I'm not sure if she told a manager or the kitchen about it; but it would've been nice to have someone come out and say,"hey just so you know, we are doing what we can to avoid cross contamination while cooking your food." This is always the standard at every restaurant I have worked at as well. I know it's not a 100% guarantee, and I'm aware there might be some cross contamination even when gloves are changed and the grill is cleaned, but it certainly lessens the chance. My salmon tasted alright, definitely felt sick later though. My boyfriend said his food wasn't even that good (I think he ordered some wings and cheddar bites). Coming from a guy who will eat just about anything, it must've been pretty bad. It seems like the menu changed quite a bit since we last dined here and we weren't too impressed with it. read more

I've never been a fan of Chili's, but have been to this location 2 times because co-workers wanted a place to meet up for large groups. This past Friday (01/04/2019) 15 of us met up for a going away thing and 7 of us ended up with FOOD POISONING...that's over 46% of us!!! Would you take the gamble of eating horrible food in exchange for a 46% chance of getting so sick you end up in the ER? I never will again. As if food poisoning isn't enough, Chili's food has always been subpar, but this time my burger was burnt on the outside yet underdone in the middle. My fries tasted like they were refried 4 or 5 times. I had a taste of the fried onion and it was just pure grease. Save yourself the pain and medical bills and go elsewhere. read more

There is always a reason to go to Chilis. I love to sit in the bar area because I'm a huge football fan. It seems like you get everything faster in the bar. The servers love to talk sports too. Plus love the happy hour specials too read more

Let's just say - we left. First of all - there's a pandemic, take precautions! I was trying to allow social distancing between me and the guy at the hostess stand - and the hostess was looking right at me - but another group just came up right between me and her - no space - and she proceeded to take them and seat them! I was incredulous! So needless to say - we had to wait for a table of 5. We said my mother was 92 and couldn't stand that long as the waiting seats were closed off. They brought a chair and put it right in the middle of the walkway and were told we had to wait 10 minutes. And honestly the seating that we was not spaced out at all - it was table to table - no gap tables. Second - My husband went to the bathroom and when he came out he immediately said - leave! The bathroom was filthy and he figured if the bathroom looked that bad what did the kitchen look like. We left.... read more

It was crowded but being the only Chili's out there i can see why waitress was great and i got to see a rainbow and the sunset at the same time.. the food was great, i love the ribs.. read more

The hostess Sabina was extremely rude when me and my family came to dine this afternoon. I asked if we could sit in the bar and she said she had to clean off the tables and it would take anywhere from 35-45 minutes. I then asked to put my name in to wait for a table and when I asked for her name she laughed in my face. It was a Wednesday at 12pm. Will not be back with that service read more

Came in to grab some food and was impressed by the overall experience. We were seated in a timely manner and our drink orders were taken. The drinks and appetizers came out very quickly. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch quesadillas and thought they were great. Others got the chicken crispers and enjoyed them. Overall the service and food was great. We will definitely be back. read more

I really like this location, very friendly and efficient service and great food. It's not too loud (I've been here many times) and the food is delicious and made to order! I know Chili's has gotten a bad wrap in the past for various reasons, but remember everyone has an opinion and it's there experience. Have a great day! read more

We have loved Chili's ever since the wife and I worked our way through college at Chili's in Texas! There's always something tasty to enjoy. We arrived just after opening at 11:00am and there were already people enjoying tasty meals. Our server was great, she was attentive and friendly. She engaged our two kids and was patient with their orders as well. We love all the menu items, but we go for the Chips and Salsa! Chili's has the best Chips and Salsa, no matter which location, no matter the service, no matter time of year, their Chips and Salsa rock! The Presidente Margarita goes great with the Chips and Salsa too! read more

Stopped in for lunch, sat at the bar. Lunch specials are quite a deal. $6, $7, $8 options, include soup or salad, with an entree option. Ordered the Chicken Fajitas with a side salad ($8 option). The service was great, attentive, and relatively quick. Out the door for $8.83, with a $2.00 tip on top. One complaint, why do I need a tip %age breakdown on my receipt? What %age of Chili's customers need it, I wonder how much they paid a consultant to evaluate the impact of said breakdown in encouraging consumers to up/lower and/or tip, in general. read more

Been here with large groups and had a good time. It was very safe for vegetarians, which is always great. The service was fantastic and we had a great night. I recommend for a quick meal on Milton. read more

The 20-30 minute wait that were told turned into 45 minutes. Once seated, the service was fast. However, the food was nothing to brag about. The burger was too pink and bloody, and not much flavor. The bun and lettuce were soggy with blood from the hamburger. The ranch was super watery. The chicken pasta was decent. The queso tasted fake, but the chips were decent. Bathrooms were not clean. We did not bother taking our leftovers home. read more

I walked in on a VERY busy Sat night to get carry-out. The place is packed and I'm sure all the staff is under the gun, but I was greeted immediately at the door by a friendly young man and directed to the separate To-Go section around the corner (smart Chili's). Also immediately greeted upon arrival by friendly staff who Im sure are multi-tasking the fuck outta their Saturday night. Really nice attentive service, been traveling for four days driving 4K miles on no sleep so yay to Chili's in Flagstaff for the nice care! And it's Chili's so obvi the food was yummmmyyyy! read more

and again........not a fan of chains. But my kids and I are up in Flag, looking for a place to eat on a friday night.......is crazy. My kids suggest Chili's.....uhhh....... Now I just had my faith restored in Chili's a few months ago in Gilbert, it was great, so here we go again. First off, you put a little gaming thing on the table, we play with it, and on the bill you charge us for it???/ F U!!!!! You got to be kidding me. 2nd, ordered the fajita's........5 strips of chicken and 5 strips of chewy crappy steak that was inedible. I went back to the hotel and threw it all up after. The food presentation is absolute disgusting, wilted lettuce, cold fries, and shitty soggy nachos. For a chain establishment, you should be ashamed of the food you serve here. The only bright spot was the polite waitress we had. Chili's............never again. read more

Not thrilled with this Chili's!! I love Chili's, but our service was slow, food must have been sitting a long time when we got it (not fresh), the table wasn't cleared, etc. Very disappointing :( read more

We were a large party, 4 adults, 4 kids #1 Our server dropped a drink #2 Kept giving us nasty watered down lemonade when we kept telling her it wasn't good #3 We paid our bill, turns out it was the WRONG kiosk on the table so we paid someone else's bill! Had to wait for 20 mins for the Manager to FINALLY come over and fix it! Service was horrible, Server and Manager didn't seem to care about anything. Won't be going back again. read more

Our waiter Jack was great! My steak was good, but my mother ordered her steak medium and it came out VERY rare. When I went towards a different waitress to try to ask her to get our waiter, she ran into the kitchen. Maybe she didn't want to deal with me, but seriously she could have tried to help. I had finished my whole meal and still my mother's steak had not been cooked and served. To say this is disappointing is an understatement. read more

Went in for a quick lunch before the lunch rush. Sat down in the bar, only 3 tables occupied. After 15 minutes 4 tables came in. Waiter immediately got silverware to them and drink orders to all the tables but ours. Seriously??? When we got up to leave is the only time he acknowledged us. Then he was rude about it. Chili's get your crap together!!! Train your staff. I waited tables for years. At least make eye contact tell them you'll be with them in a moment. Customer service! This isn't the first time for horrible service here. We usually like Chili's and when in Flagstaff it's where we eat, but not again. Getting tired of rude entitled college students that don't have the skills to have proper customer service . read more

Let me start off that my husband and I are big Chili's fans...members of thier club. Love El Presidente Margaritas and pretty much every thing on their menu. We start off by ordering the El.Presidente...pretty sure the bartender made us the El cheapo, mixed from a gallon jig that was tart as can be. So we ordered an extra shot of tequila to compensate. I order a fresh mix bowl that was pretty good. My husband ordered a combo with brisket and ribs. Came with corn on the cob and garlic bread. Mine was warm so I was ok. His was cold, he politely sent it back. He waited about 15 minutes for them to heat it up, and it came back cold. So he sent it back again and after a 20 minute wait, it came back cold again. We gave up, he picked thru what was halfway warm and we were done. We both used the restrooms, and both were filthy! We wernt looking for any compensation, but they took off his meal and our Magaritas that we didn't even mention to them. So, that was nice. But we won't be back again. read more

The place us usually packed with the close proximity to NAU campus. The service is usually good and fast. Love the free chips and salsa when you check in with foursquare. Use to be you had to check in with a friend to get the promo but now just a check in gets you the free chips and salsa. The hamburgers are always good and the salads fresh my favorite is BONELESS BUFFALO CHICKEN SALAD. Hubby likes the old timer burger. Huge portions so the value is there and plenty for 2 to share. Mango tea is a favorite. Most fun was scanning the QR code on back of the Heinz Ketchup to enter a contest while waiting for the meal. The Ketchup bottle also had details on the green components it was made from. So note to Restaurants have some fun contests or information at the table with QR codes to entertain all those with cell phones waiting for the meal! read more

Wasn't the normal Chili's experience that I expected. The food took over an hour to be cooked. When my party got it, half of it was cold. We had to ask for our drink refills and the waiter barely visited the table. Maybe it was just a busy night, but not the normal visit. read more

Horrible. WE got the salad with the breaded chicken fingers. The lettuce was from a bag, I asked the waitress if they made their own chicken fingers and she said yes. I meant do they take bare chicken and bread it and fry it etc. She said yes. I think she must have meant down someone somewhere bread this chicken and send it to Chilis to microwave and throw on your salad. The chicken was gross. Where was all the other stuff that was supposed to be on it. It was lettuce and chicken thrown on a flat plate. Never will go to Chili's again. What happened to this place - long ago it used to be good. Go anywhere else it will be better than this. read more

They close at 11, me & my boyfriend came in around 10 , I had called prior to showing up & was told they weren't busy & I could be seated upon arrival. I walked in & just from the front door I could see there were probably 6 tables that were dirty. Talked to the host & she told me they had a long wait which I told her I had called then she went & cleaned a table for us about 10 mins later. Every table around us was dirty & stayed like that until we left & on our way out the whole other side of the restaurant was dirty tables as well. I guess they thought if there wasn't any clean tables they could stop accepting tables. Serves name was Daniel I believe. Super nice, really polite. Asked for ranch & my boyfriend ordered a steak. Didn't bring steak knife & by the time they had brought one we were already half way through our food. I dont know if they just have a bunch of teenage kids running the place but I've never been to a restaurant that's that insanely dirty. read more

We were very tired after going to the Overland Expo and this was the perfect stop to eat! Our server, Logan, was wonderful. Polite and smiling but more importantly - having patience as we had to ask for numerous extra items. Logan was also great with our kids - 12 & 8. Food was good, and my husband and I appreciated being able to split a burger after being in the sun during the day. Will definitely visit again when we are back in Flagstaff. read more

Got the 2 meals for 25$ including an appetizer and dessert. The food for kind of mediocre but really can't complain for that price. We were in the bartender's section and he was super friendly. Most horrible visit. My daughter picked this place for her 10th birthday. She got the mac and cheese. After she put the spoon in her mouth she noticed something darn brown on her spoon. The slow waitress brought her a new spoon. My daughter lifted a spoonful out and noticed a short black hair. Told the waitress. Not 1 I'm sorry or even a comp for my daughters meal. We had a friends son with us and he received half of his order. The 2nd half came out 10 min later. The waitress was very slow. We had to grab her for drink refills. Overall I have had a good experience at this location, the staff is always outgoing and friendly. The atmosphere is positive and upbeat.

I love Chili's but this location my family and I had a horrible experience. The hostess was incredibly unexperienced, we were a large group and there was plenty of tables opened well two other large groups came in and they were seated before us. I asked her if she can split us up that way so it could be a less of a wait, 20 minutes passed and everyone coming in was being seated but us. I finally asked to speak with a manager and we finally were seated in split booths. The only person who was pleasant was our waiter. read more

I visited this location a few weeks ago when I took a trip up north. I've have visited a few chili's location with in the state of Arizona, I have to say that my experience at this location was not a good experience. I usually love Chili's and their food, but today's experience was just awful. The server was friendly from the start, and took our orders quickly, but forgot waters and the chips and salsa to begin with. Then, we ordered the wings, which were $10 and supposed to come with at least celery and carrots, and it didn't. So, we asked for some, and then received just a plate of two celery sticks. Then, we got our salad and fajita rice bowl. The salad was no bigger than a portion of a size salad with chicken tenders thrown on top and was $14. The fajita rice bowl was a poor sized portion as well, not as bad, but it had such a bland flavor to it and I felt sick after two bites. Spent over $40 for food we couldn't even eat. So disappointing. read more
