Ok long story short, if you end up at the Twin Arrows Casino in Northern Arizona 23 clicks East of Flagstaff Arizona, and you happen to want breakfast? Spare yourself the trouble and just do the hotel's typical morning Breakfast Buffet. Ordering A La Carte here doesn't make much sense because say for example you get the English Breakfast, with 2 eggs and 2 pieces of protein, for 18.00 USD, you are much better off paying the full 23.00 USD for the buffet option and pretty much you'd have Alot more choices going forward. Just my two cents. Service for the A La Carte was also on the slower side with the kitchen and if you are on the run, and want a turn key breakfast the buffett is the way to go. Very open space where I was dining, alot of natural light flows through, and they have a really nice garden area visible through the Glass Panels on the backside. An unhappy experience overall. This place doesn't even deserve 1 star, to say the least. We came for a quick Father's Day buffet which we now regret. The food choices were not great, but we still gave it a benefit of the doubt. The prime rib was warm and a bit dry, even though the Au Jus sauce was provided. The dessert muffin had a very hard top, gave up trying to bite it. The service was bad. The waiter never came around not even once to offer any hot tea or coffee. I had to retrieve our own cups of coffee. The entire time the wait staff were huddled at the front register area giggling. On top of that, they automatically charged a service fee (gratuity) of $20.00, and I believe this is wrong to do because the customer service was nonexistent! I called the next day, talked to Rochelle who identified herself as the supervisor. Rochelle told me gratuity was added regardless of you get a good service or not. She did not apologize for the poor customer service but rather made excuses for the wait staff. We will not be returning to this establishment due to the nonexistent of good customer service and the quality of food for the price. read more

Nice lunch at Four Elements Cafe at Twin Arrows Casino. The buffet is only open on certain evening hours. Party of 8 for a lunch and it was a good choice. Most of had the grilled lamb sandwich. Had mine served on Navajo fry bread with green chile and onion. Choice of sides and I had the sweet potato fries. Food and service were good. Server was helped by a robot which was a first for me. This restaurant was slammed the evening we showed up. I tried calling room service but phones lines would not take the call. So we headed down and I asked for a menu but the lady stated all menus were being used but she said she did have a copy of the sports bar menu. So we took a picture of the menu there and at Zenith steakhouse. Went back up stairs and tried calling again but no answer after we decided what we wanted. Made another trip downstairs to see if we could place our order and same hostess stated she was not taking any to go orders. In the end we finally made our way down to four elements cafe around 8pm and same hostess asked if we had responded to kiosk?? Said we hadn't and waited for her to seat us. We ended up ordering a Navajo green chili burger, 2 Arrow burgers and I was undecided and asked the waiter for his suggestion. He recommended the roast beef sandwich. I did ask for a side salad rather than fries. Order placed and food arrived. I was disappointed in the sandwich I got which was the roast beef . It was so dry . I ended up giving more than half of that sandwich to my husband. Overall service was great from our waiter and the manager who served our food. Hostess was just rude in my opinion. She needs to smile more and be cheerful. Especially if you're at the front of the house! I did finally see her allowing people to place to go orders... maybe things had settled down. read more

Oh my! The hotel is amazing!! Everything is beautiful, blends so well & reflects the Navajo culture. It was great to see all Native staff, all so welcoming and friendly. Same in the restaurant. The food was very hot and delicious. The price is still a great value for the amount of food you get. Coffee was not watered down and weak as most restaurants. I'm a Starbucks girl so I'm a pretty good judge. Definitely coming back when I visit Arizona again. read more

I visited around 8am had Aurelia as my server. She never introduced herself to me, she just stood there and said something to drink. Had the corn beef hash which was ok. I ordered over hard eggs and they came out over easy. They also had a special where you got a free strawberry pancake with the purchase of a breakfast entree. I stated to my server that I wanted that special. I never received that pancake. This was a really poor experience with the lack of attention and blah food. We ate here for breakfast, having stayed here at the hotel the night before. Both places (Arrow Sports Bar for dinner, night before) and this place, are winners! I had the Huevos Rancheros- Mighty portions, a little "Gringo-ish" for me (give me spicey authentica any time), but extremely tastey and bountiful! Was pleasantly surpised. My wife had the Blue Corn Pancakes, which were huge, delicious, served with a side of (some sort of) Applewood Smoked Bacon... Incredibly good. Can't understand the negative reviews here. Maybe our experience was different- it was a Monday, and we were served promptly, and the place wasn't crowded at all. Food was delicious, more than I expected, and more than reasonably priced. We went out to this place - they advertise it is like 15 miles from Flagstaff. However, what I didn't realize is that the city limit for flagstaff was like 15 miles east of where I was staying. So it was a bit far. Looked like a pretty cool casino. This restaurant is one of a few eating choices in the casino. I had the Navajo Taco - it was good, but not the best I have ever had. Everyone else in the large group we were with seemed to enjoy the meal and the prices were reasonable. Probably the best thing they did was to handle our large group. We had 15 to 18 people and the service was good and food came out in a reasonable time. Can't tell you how many times we have gone to a place with large group and experienced bad delays. I've been here a couple of times. Once for the prime rib and today for the all-you-can-eat crab legs. The all-you-can-eat crab legs is a great deal. The crab legs come with a steak. Both times when I have ordered prime rib or steak medium it comes out well done. A manager did swing by and I showed him the steak. He did bring out a replacement that was cooked to perfection! It's not the best food, but for the price the All You Can Eat Crab Legs is a decent meal. Remember to have your players card to get the weekday special price! read more

The food was pretty good, and using the club card you can get a pretty good price. However, the service was pretty terrible. We waited almost 15 minutes to be acknowledged by our waiter and that was after I went and complained about it. There seemed to be a ton of waiters and it wasn't insanely busy. I can understand a wait, but I'd like to be greeted and get my drink at least. And when our waiter finally got around to serving us he just dropped off our food and left without saying a word. Thank goodness we didn't pay for drinks because he never refilled our waters, which being there for an hour and a half warrants a few refills. Make sure you have some time and some patience if your planning on eating here, definitely one of the cheaper options at the Casino and with service like this you don't need to worry about a tip. read more

Headed out to the Four Elements for Tuesday night all you can eat Crab Legs for $14.99 with club card. Wow, it's well worth the $14.99, and 25 minute drive. For $14.99 you get the following: 6 oz Steak Roasted Potatoes and Carrots Opilio Crab legs galore! Service was good, and attentive without being "hovering". Initially they bring you your steak (cooked to order), sides (potatoes and carrots) and two crab leg clusters. As you're noshing on the crab, and pickings are getting slim, they waiter/ess will come by, ask if you're ready for another serving, and 2 minutes later more crab and clarified butter appear. The reason I went 3 stars (A-OK) instead of 4 stars (yeah, I'm a fan) is related to the drink order. No "adult drink menu" was offered, however the waiter did inform us we could order wine/beer. Thinking "okay, I'll go for a house red", a Merlot, I enjoyed 3 glasses during the great nosh. Sadly, I was shocked when the Bill arrived, and I was charged $13.00 a glass for the wine. Had I known, would have gone with the IPA Beer selection in a 16 ounce glass stein for $5.75 each. Live an learn. Have eaten here a few times and it's always been delicious and great service. Good menu variety (apps, burgers, salads, soups etc.) and affordable. Probably a more reasonable family dining option while eating compared to the expensive steakhouse or sportsbar. . Other eating options at the casino: Zenith Steakhouse: Never eaten here but it's very small and never seen anyone in it. Reviews say steaks are excellent (and they better be for a $50 steak + extra $$ for toppings!!!) I'd say give it a try but only if someone else is footing the bill HAHA! The Sportsbar has good food and drinks with TV's but can be a bit noisy. Food Court Buffet: limited food stations (American/Asian) $10 with players club card. The Reef seafood bar has closed. Only place around to eat breakfast if you are staying at the Twin Arrows Resort...so, I guess that means they can treat their customers like crap. Don't know if Monique was having a bad day or what? No customer service, no smiles, no coffee refills and she acted like I wanted something for free when I asked for the green chilies that were included with my eggs. This was my second time eating here and it was very good. Got the Four Elements Breakfast which was pancakes, eggs (scrambled, well done), bacon, and sausage. I declined the toast. Everything was very good! The eggs were cooked right, the bacon was crisp and flavorful, and the sausage was good too. The syrup made the pancakes taste very sweet. I liked them. Let's just say you get you money's worth. They were STRONG! But hey, strong is better than weak when you're paying $10 for a drink. I started with the French onion soup, really good!!! My fiance had the Navajo fajitas and I had the fried shrimp platter. His fajitas were really good! Meat was super tender, only wish there was a little more. My shrimp were huge and you got 6 of them!
