Our server spent a lot of time at the bar- took her 15 min to come back at get our order after we got our drinks. Food was wrong and cold and took a long time to come out. Then she holds the little display thing to pay, puting the card in for us and turning it towards us for the tip, then turning it around to complete the process- probably giving herself a great review read more

We stopped by this Chili's on our way to Atlanta and it was great. 5 minutes wait, server was great. Really quick, she was checking on us all the time, food came fast, refilled our drinks fast. Will come back for sure if we are driving thru Columbus again. read more

Chili's is my absolute favored chained restaurant. This one sorely disappoints. Incredibly understaffed and slow. I know it's frustrating for the few workers that are there, but they aren't honest about wait times. read more

5 people in the restaurant and the cooks were so overwhelmed they managed to burn my burger to a crisp. They put extra queso to cover it up. I have always enjoyed chilis but recently the local chilis has let me down. read more

Terrible customer service! To a hour for my to go order bartender ignored me had to keep asking about order!

Service is awful. Was ignored by our waitress as she walked around the bar talking to "regulars" and other waitstaff. Didn't even bring the bill, thank God for the tablets to check out on. Never got a refill, never stopped by to check on the food (which was not good) or allow us to order anything else. We used to love coming to Chili's, but it's gone way downhill. Not even worth the money anymore. read more

Ordered the 3 item combo. the combo order was brought out with the wrong sides. ordered the grilled cheese for one of my kids and they brought him the grilled chicken tenders. Was told the manager would come talk to us which never happened. Never offered any refill on any of our drinks. the comped off the kids grilled cheese which was what we actually ordered so the kids grilled tenders they kept on the order AND WE DIDNT EAT cause they took it back is what we were charged for and was more expensive. If I'm lying look at the menu pricing. Also when they corrected my 3 item combo I guess they just let the fries sit while it was being re made cause they were cold. the waitress was nice but it may pay off in the long run If yall write the orders down on a pad instead of trying to remember it, cause like Roger Clemens you misremembered!! I didnt tip. read more

Filthy! You'd think being closed for COVID would have afforded this restaurant time to properly clean the dining room. The walls are disgusting and covered in crusted food. Unfortunately, this isn't their only downfall. Diners only occupied 1/4 of the place yet we waited over 20 mins for a bowl of lukewarm, cheese globbed soup and 2 chicken crisper platters. Nasty seating area, slow service and subpar food make this a triple threat for a terrible experience. read more

Went there to celebrate my coworkers birthday with a group of 8-9 people. Our server, Katie, had treated us well and was very helpful with accommodating the group. Unfortunately, it came down to the tips we separately and one of our friends had tipped her a ten. To which she went to the back and said fairly quickly " They gave me a f****** 10 dollar tip". She returned and had asked if we had included a tip which fell like she was demanding it. We left her a hefty tip but will not be returning to this location. read more

I don't even know where to start. My party of 8 was seated in a timely manner. Shortly after we were seated, a party of 5 was seated but we had different wait staff. Please keep that in mind for the next part. We waited 10 minutes for our waiter to even take our drink order. Their waitress took their drink order shortly after they sat down. Our waiter seemed to have issues taking our drink order, the other table got their drinks right away before we even got ours even ordered. We had the same issue with our food orders. When the waiter came back 40 minutes after we placed our order, we should have known something was wrong. He needed to verify some of our party's food order. Are you kidding me?? We should have gotten up and walked out at that point. Because we had been waiting so long, the waiter convinced the manager to let us have some chips and salsa. When the food finally arrived, only seven out of the eight people received their food. The waiter blamed the long wait on the kitchen. I don't think it was entirely the kitchen's fault. The French fries were cold and my burger was lukewarm. Which means the food was sitting out for at least a few minutes. And the salads my husband and I ordered came out with our main meal instead of before it. But not all the food arrived at the same time or complete. My BIL was missing part of his order and my nephew didn't even receive his food. When I complained to the manager, she did take care of the situation and discounted our meal but never came over and apologized. It took us another 30 minutes to get the bill straightened out (because were charged for food that we didn't order), get to go boxes and the dessert that was part of the two for $25. Overall, we were there for more than two hours for a mediocre meal and even worse service. Oh and that table I referenced earlier? Got their drinks and food and was in and out in about an hour. I wanted to tell all the other tables that we passed on our way out to go somewhere else but I didn't. I don't know what happened to this Chili's, but it has gone down hill in the last couple of years. Go somewhere else. read more

Only reason im giving them a one star is because the strawberry lemonade chill is need to close they restaurant because they food is not good The food at Chili's was horrible. We first got there and sat at the table after we ordered we waited for over an hour. Then the food came to the table after hour and someway the chicken tenders were so tough you almost had to cut them the first drink that I received was a strawberry lemonade was OK. The second one was horrible. They brought my pasta seafood pasta to the table and the pasta noodles were dry. There were no crab meat anywhere and they were tough. Sent it back. Ask for a second drink and wait about 30 minutes before I got one and then it was bad. The service was not good. read more

Went for my birthday. Waiter served us in dirty moldy looking glasses. Took over an hour for him to remember our orders then kept forgetting one of guest drinks. Got 6 out of 8 guest orders and skipped two guest and they were sitting right beside me. Forgot extra napkins and straws after we asked 7 times read more

This honestly is probably my top worst experience in a restaurant/ chili's. I normally side with the waitress but between the long wait, dirty tables, empty restaurant. Wrong food, wrong drink I mean I feel as if you have to try to mess up to this degree. Generally a subpar location and really am unsure how it hasn't shut down yet. I will say another waitress in a parallel section was killing it, her people had refills, food and speed. I was very jealous and tempted to ask to be moved to her section. read more

This is favorite when visiting the strip mall. I was here are few weeks ago and what waiter left us sitting in the bar section. He didn't come back to give our checks after 20 minutes of me asking for it. I finally left cash for what I thought the amount was and I left. This time I asked not to be seated in the bar section. The service was a lot better. However, the place needs some updating. The seats were wear and tear. The food was great though. read more

This place is horrible. It took 10min to be seated even though it was almost empty. The waitress didnt give us utensils, asked for our orders then left to wait on another table before even getting our order. The "top shelf" liquor tasted like nail polish remover, the app was cold, and the food was lack luster and cheap. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

The worst experience! We had to wait for over 45 minutes to get our food and when we got it our food was room temperature and our daughters' shrimp taco and raw shrimp in it. When our server finally came over to check us, she apologized and asked if there was something else my daughter would like. We ordered her a black bean burger and we sat there for another 45 minutes waiting for her food. We were there for 2 hours total and it was the worse experience. They should have at least comp my daughter's meal since it was an inconvenience to sit there and wait another 45 minutes for it bc they can't cook shrimp. Stay way from Chili's!!! read more

Came here a few days ago with my daughter for some lunch. We were seated as soon as walking in. The waiter was kind & patient and took our drink orders and gave us as much time as we needed to pick our meals. Their Corona-Rita's is a must drink. The meal took awhile to arrive at our table but we finally were served and also love how they have the tablet in table to make kids entertained while waiting and using it for the same purpose of paying your meal without the hassle of waiting up front. read more

We had an A+++ experience the first time we went and it was super busy. Our waitress was FAST and on top of keeping us happy... free chips due to a little delay in the kitchen and everything came out better than expected. This location must have a super special cook because my steak Fajitas were seasoned like I've never had before. My mouth waters just thinking about it. My entire family was happy with what they got except the boneless chicken wings, we've since been back and my son ordered a diff style and they still have a sweetness to them regardless of the style he orders and he likes them hot... not sweet. So there's that... but over all we have been pretty pleased. read more

Awful service. Long wait to be seated, long wait for sub-standard food, still longer wait for the table to be cleared. Come on folks, clean up your act! read more

Had an early dinner at this location today. The serving staff left much to be desired. All of them seemed tired and, frankly, unhappy to be there. There was not one smiling face or peppy attitude amongst them. Although very few people were in the restaurant, my waiter (Mike) was extremely slow. I had to ask for napkins, containers, the bill, and the bill to be collected while three members of the service staff chatted with the hostess two feet from me. All glanced in my direction. Three waiters attempted to close the shade of a window beside me without asking permission. I had specifically requested that table because it was the only sunny spot in the entire restaurant- all other shades had been closed. The food was mediocre and the service was horrible. I am in town on business for an entire month and I eat out daily. This location will NOT be getting any more business from me nor a recommendation. read more

I don't often do this, but when someone is this good at their job, they should be recognized. (I think his name is) Theondre works at Chili's Grill & Bar (Columbus, GA). He is without a doubt the best server I have ever had at any restaurant ever. We had him before when we came in, and soon as I walked in with the wife and kids he recognized us. And we hadn't been there in a month. As he walked by he said he was just about to take his break. I said "Well damn, I guess we don't have a server." He said "Say no more boo boo. I got you." This boy came off his break to take care of us. Drinks came out immediately, Appetizers shortly after. And when he took our order...I didn't see him write a darn thing down. But, when it came, it was perfect. Now here is the crazy part. He had four tables. I didn't see him write anything down for any of them. So, it was Me, my wife, and my twins at one table, There was a couple in the booth across from us. There were two couples in the booth behind us and there was what looked like a Girls Soccer team (at least 8 of them) to my left. How do you remember all those orders, get them right and not write anything down!?!?! He never hovered, but my refills were on my table faster than I could finish the drinks, and he was constantly aware of everyone's situation within his area of responsibility. I just have to say it. That was the best experience I have ever had eating out. First time ever I gave someone one a 50% tip, but he really really deserved it. read more

we are traveling and at home, we have a really good one. this chilis is understaffed at the moment and so i understand they can't afford to let go of anybody and you also have to be patient. our overall experience here, if you are reading the reviews before coming(unlike us), choose somewhere else nearby. read more

Where to start? What point was there total failure at this Chili's. Server greeted up promptly and got took our drink order. She came back dropped off the drinks and took our order. So far, so good. Fifteen minutes went by she said she was checking on it. Then another 15 minutes she stopped by our table she said they were working on it. Within 5 minute I notice one of the managers came out and was walking towards our table. I knew at that point there was an issue going on. He said it will be 10 more minutes and everything will come out fresh and hot. We did get the food. My husband's plates was beautiful, fresh and hot. My meal consist of cold mushy broccoli, loaded mashed potatoes that was under a hot lamp to long and the final was rubbery cold chicken tenders. We paid for the drink, tipped the server and left. I can't believe Chili's went down hill like that. Shameful. read more

Horrible service, good was extremely late although it wasn't even busy when we arrived, wrong burger for my husband after 40 mins of waiting plus the replacement burger took 20 more mins and we had to get it to go. IF the waitress had bothered to apologize or explain or even come check on her table still sitting around waiting (my son was in his army uniform...maybe that was a problem?) And IF I hadn't had to go get the hostess to check on our food, maybe the waitress would have gotten a tip, not the hostess who I took the money to. I will NEVER eat there again. read more

Came in for a late Dinner ( about 9) the place was not that bad as far as others dinning... for a Saturday night I thought great not bad.. we were seated our drink orders taken, that's when the service went downhill FAST we sat for about 26 min no drinks no food order taken after 36min I asked to speak with MOD... he came out quickly... took the orders we got our drinks, the food was cold like Alaska cold.... my husband had the margarita chicken he said it was more margarita (black beans etc.) than chicken .. not good. Not coming back until they make more positive changes read more

Spent two hours here waiting for lunch. Came here on Saturday 27 October from 1230-1417. Worst customer service I've ever experienced at a restaurant. We literally waited for everything. We had to ask multiple times for things. My wife's food was cold and soggy so we sent it back. They tried to overcharge us at the end and spent another 15 minutes fixing the bill. Managers name was Chris. They wouldn't tell me his last name and he never came to see us. Save your time and money and go eat somewhere else. read more

I have always loved coming to chilis since I was a kid even when I turned 16 I made it a mission to come to chilis whenever I was in Columbus, the last 4 times I have came I did not feel welcome as in first we get on a waitlist and wait outside and they "forget to send the text" then you get the joy of sitting at a table for 15 minutes before even getting drinks ORDERED I am ordering my drink, appetizer and main entree all at the same time. What should be at most a 1-1 and a half hour ordeal turns into a 2 and a half hour ordeal I'm not sure if it's short staff, carelessness by the host the servers not wanting to take an extra table but if this issue could get resolved because every single time it's an excuse as in " the kitchen is very backed up" when in fact the place isn't packed out I mean there is a decent crown but me getting there at 8 and leaving at 9:50 is wild. I love chilis I'm just not sure what has been going on. read more

They were out of multiple things by 1pm (corn dogs, chocolate milk for kids). They messed the order up, forgot things and had to go back and have it made or brought the wrong thing entirely. They forgot my soup so had to wait for that, they brought corn on cob for daughter instead of corn kernels. I asked for the sizzling citrus sirloin (medium well) with avacado on asparagus and received a plate that wasn't sizzling, had no asparagus, and was extremely well done. It took the waitress 10 minutes to bring me a refill after she said she would be back with it, she brought the wrong drink back. I will not be going back unless the manager is fired since there was a lot wrong with the entire visit. And now that I am looking at my bill before I pay... I see they are charging me for things I didn't receive. read more

We went as a family on a weekday between the lunch and dinner hours, so we were seated promptly and attended to just as promptly. The place was quiet which was perfect. I have to say that I was impressed with how our waiter accomodated to my grandmother. She wasn't sure if a soup was spicy, so she asked for a little sample of it. He immediately gave her a small bowl, which she liked and that was all she had (in terms of the soup), and they didn't charge us extra! It was perfect! Three words- chicken enchilada soup.
