Very gross. vegetables in my food were soft and wilting. the service was horrible, the employees were barely functioning almost as if they were under the influence. floor was disgusting and my sweet tea was sour and had floating black things in it. do not go here unless you want half made food with mold. employees came inside and made food without gloves and i doubt they washed their hands. read more

This is food cooked by someone who has never tasted Mexican food but has heard it described to him a couple times. I'm fucking furious I ordered a California burrito and I got a salad wrap instead. A California burrito is always carne asada, cheese, French fries, pick de Gallo, and guacamole. What I got was rice, beans, lettuce, salsa, vinaigrette? and it was rolled in a multi grain tortilla. Do not go here expecting any Mexican seasoning on your rice or beans either, they will come with no salt let alone any seasoning. I admit I didn't look up what was in their California burrito, but that's because every California burrito has the same ingredients. so at first I ask for a bowl of rice. the dude acted like a thug to me and was joking around. he was calm tho. they were out of cheese dip and pico. I got my wisdom teeth out and I can only eat rice. I asked for cheesey rice and I had to get shredded cheese on top of my rice. the staff was lazy. The employee has ear buds in with chords hanging out and didn't even notice when a customer arrived. they also spilled toothpicks in the meat. they're also out of blue Powerade. there are no menus on the wall. their hours are unrealistic. A step above Moe's, this food was not my favorite. Tex-Mex cuisine is more than just adding toppings as you pass down the line. For fast food, it was fresh and better than Taco Bell. However, claiming Tex-Mex is too much...the salad bar with tortilla wraps and bland chicken, beef or tofu is basically the same as saying Ramen Noodles with a fortune cookie on the side is a Chinese Restaurant. Sorry guys. The flavor just is not there. The restaurant experience includes atmosphere and the techno/euro music was out of place as well. Love this place!!! Everyone is always so friendly, accommodating and courteous. Today 1.8.16...while standing at the counter I relayed my sob story of washing my almost full punch card in the laundry with the young lady taking my order, Kyle walks up and asked what happened. She told him and he offered us a free meal...he'd noticed from My husband's distinctive hat that we frequently dine here... Awesome food, nice place, clean but what was truly great is how one employee treated me. Her name is Lindsay & I had a problem with what I'd ordered, not because of their mistake but because of my food intolerances. Not only did she remake it but she'd offered to make it a 3rd time if I still wasn't happy. She asked a few times if it was ok & was really sweet. I hope the management is good to her because she's a real asset to the company. We will definitely be back. Oh & their chips are the best ever! read more

Barberitos is one of the better quick-stop burrito places in the Moes-Chipotle world of chains. I really like their spicy chicken burrito. Staff are fast and generally friendly at this location. This is a review based solely on their chips and queso, which are seriously the best I've had anywhere. They shred the cheese themselves and make the queso in-house. For just $8, I got two larges and 2 BIG bags of chips for a party I was throwing (their complementary salsa wasn't bad either!) Will definitely be back for dinner and margaritas! read more

This place reminds me of a place in California with the same look, food and environment. The place I am referencing is called RIO Cafe in Redlands, CA. The menu is exactly the same in every way. I was missing RIO and I am glad that I found Barberitos. This place is actually good, just the same as it is in Cali. People should give this place a try if they have not already. read more

NASTY FOOD HANDLING!!! I ate lunch with a friend at the Barberitos on Whitesville Road on September 13, 2016. Two guys were preparing the customer orders. The first guy spooned the rice, beans, and chicken into the bowl. The second guy used gloved hands to put the tomatoes, lettuce, onions, olives, mushrooms . . . . in the bowl. The second guy would go to the register, take the customer's money and then go right back to picking up the tomatoes, lettuce, onions . . . . . to put on the next customer's order with the same gloves on his hands. I watched him do this with at least twenty customers who came thru the line. Preparing food with the same gloves that receives money is both NASTY and UNSANITARY. Moisture from tomatoes and other vegetables breeds bateria. Everything he touch becomes contaminated. Barberitos patrons risk health problems because of careless workers. To make matters worse, I believe the guy handling the food and money was a manager. The manager is suppose to set an example for the other employees. I told someone about what I witnessed and they said if the workers at Barberitos do that before the customer eyes, imagine what they may be doing in the back when no one is looking. read more
