Upon arriving at the establishment, parking was easy, decent sized parking lot which is more than a lot of places can be expected of. The counter was manned with the utmost precision, our table got 3x Cali Burritos, 2x Tacos Pastor, churros, carne asada fries, 3x pineapple agua frescas, and 2x strawberry smoothies. This establishment was extremely welcome towards the military, and therefore each member had a free beverage of choice. Each member got at least 2x entree items which came out within 15 minutes of seating. The food came out with the heat of a bursting volcano straight from the kitchen to our hands. 10/10 recommend. Honorable mention; the trashcan are plentiful wt each corner of the establishment. Their estimated capacity is about 20 white to-go trays.

The chips were nice and crispy and the salsa was too thin/watery for me personally. We split the birria egg rolls to start, which was perhaps just a wrong choice. I didn't even finish one and was feeling so full/heavy by the time my fajitas came that I had to box it up and take it all home. I liked the flavor but wow I felt so sick after eating it. Prices were reasonable- my fiesta fajita meal was under $20 and had shrimp, chorizo, chicken, steak, AND carnitas. Huge value and all the meat was yummy. If I returned, I would definitely just skip the heavy app and get an entree.

She said it was cloyingly sweet and artificial. Everything else was excellent.

At this roadside Mexican food truck, the atmosphere leans heavily casual--almost to a fault. Loud…read moremusic blasts while a shrill alarm or tone cuts through the air, making it genuinely difficult to place an order without raising your voice. The menu itself is handwritten in a dense, cluttered scrawl across a weathered whiteboard, which feels less professional than it could. A simple tablet or digital ordering system would be a welcome upgrade over competing with the noise. The strawberry lemonade arrives pure and bright in flavor, yet it is so heavily iced that you effectively receive only about a third of actual drink in a large cup. The horchata suffers the same ice overload, but the drink itself is excellent--creamy, traditional, and balanced with that classic sweet-cinnamon richness that should please just about anyone. The birria ramen arrives in a generous portion. The broth is robust and flavorful, loaded with substantial chunks of meat and a solid serving of noodles. The downside is the texture: the noodles had gone a bit soft and mushy. With several meat options unavailable, I opted for the asada California burrito. The steak was moist and well-seasoned, the cilantro present but not overwhelming, and the first bite delivered a satisfying cheese pull. Overall the flavors were nicely balanced. A quick finish on the griddle to seal the tortilla and add a light crisp would elevate it further. It came with a side of salty, well-spiced chips that were genuinely tasty. The birria tacos with rice presented a clearer split. The rice had an off-putting, slightly metallic or "dirty cookware" note that was hard to place, though the grains themselves were cooked to a good texture with solid bite and chew. The tacos fared better: the outer shells were properly crunchy, the meat portion was decent and well-cooked, and the seasoning offered a mild, balanced profile--nothing overpowering, yet nothing that particularly stood out either. These are not the double-tortilla, cheese-filled style; cheese is minimal and sits inside. The consommé was thinner than hoped, but once the salsa was added and a touch of fresh cilantro scattered on top, the whole thing brightened considerably and gained a welcome lift of freshness. The esquite was creamy and pleasantly zingy, with a solid flavor balance. A higher corn-to-sauce ratio would improve it, but the taste itself was enjoyable. In short, the stronger dishes show real potential--particularly the horchata, the seasoned asada, and the elevated birria tacos once sauced--but inconsistent execution, an overly noisy ordering environment, and a few off notes (especially the rice) keep the experience from feeling fully polished.
