Tried to eat here tonight. Many tables open but they would not seat anyone there. I'm sure it was a lack of servers. Stopped in for a late lun h on our way for the RDU airport. Wife and I both had the lunch special with a bowl and a side. I had the chili and she had a salad. My chili was about the best I ever had. The bowls were very good too. Service at the bar was great. Bartender even did a great job handling an obnoxious customer. All in all I would recommend! read more

If I could give this zero stars I would. I made a reservation online then was told the did not see it. Tried to call since we had a larger party and it said to call and I got hung up once and the second time no one answered. I was on the phone 20 min total with no response. When we got there the lady that was seating people had a horrible attitude and was extremely rude with my husband. I was told when they said they did not see our reservation we would be seated and almost an hr later we have still not been seated. We were told by the manager we would have a seat as soon as a seat was available and there are currently 17 tables open and not been seated. After my husband spoke with the manager about the lady seating is being so rude and talking crap about us the lady continued to make ugly faces at our family and talk junk right in front of us. I have been here several times, but today was exceptional. My server, one of 2 working, was very helpful, friendly and suggested a specific dessert. My margarita grilled chicken was expertly prepared, seasoned perfectly and proportions of sides perfectly complemented the chicken. Taste and plating looked like a 5 star chef had prepared the food. I do not usually post reviews, but our service was horrible last night. We arrived at 5:30 and did not leave until after 7:00. we had to get the manager twice due to the negligence of the waiter. We had to ask for water refills, then it took over 20 minutes for my grandkids mini molten cakes, not to mention the additional lack of service...no silverware, slowness of getting our meal. Went here Saturday evening on the 16th, did you hire children to manage this place? Seriously, who's decision was it to hire the boy man with the bun in his hair? We asked for a manger and were told he was "too busy" to accommodate to our needs? Not only that but we watched Mr. Man Bun walk to the bathroom and stay in there for 45 minutes... Chain restaurants such as Chili's aren't usually top of my list of places to go, but every now and then my late 90s high school nostalgia kicks in and I decide to give these places another shot. For my latest visit a week ago, let's start with the good. The Burlington Chili's was surprisingly busy for a Sunday evening around 8pm, but getting on Yelp's waitlist was easy and I loved being able to check on my place in line via the app. The wait was roughly 15 minutes. Our waitress was incredible. She was always one step ahead of us, anticipating what we might need in terms of drink refills, extra sauce, etc. Now, for the not so good. The food quality and presentation was abysmal. I ordered the Southwest Egg Rolls (a favorite from my younger years) for an appetizer and when they arrived at the table it looked as though they had been thrown onto the tray without a care in the world as to how they looked - 6 scrawny egg rolls halves, most of which were upside down on a tray that was clearly too big with a tiny little plastic cup of avocado ranch dressing. The taste was okay, though they weren't quite as crisp as they should have been. Speaking of lack of crisp, the chicken crispers I ordered for my entrée were almost inedible. I am not sure if the oil wasn't hot enough or they just didn't spend enough time in the fryer, but there was nothing crisp about them and I was only able to stomach a few bites. I should have sent them back to the kitchen but at that point I wasn't really interested in eating anything else they had to offer. Needless to say, I won't be returning to Chili's anytime soon, especially not this location. Should management happen to read this review, I would encourage them to have more oversight when it comes to food preparation, proper cooking temperature, and presentation. read more

Good food at affordable price came out hot and in a timely manner. Always a deal for the family.

The food was best than expected. The appetizer was delicious. I believe it was called the triple dipper. I had the Cajun shrimp pasta. It was well seasoned. The garlic bread was to soggy for me, I prefer to have a crunch. The server was attentive. She provide superb service. Will definitely go back. read more

Absolutely horrible and I have not even been seated. I would give this place -5 stars if I could. We were told for a party of 2 5-10 minutes that was nearly 20 minutes ago. People walking in now are being told the same. Stop the lying about wait times. A group of three who came in well after us was just seated. We asked to speak with a manger who finally sat us. The manger, Travis comped us chips and salsa. He also said if we wanted another appetizer he would comp that as well as checking on us throughout our meal. Guess what never saw him again and the waitress was in hover mode. The food was good however, when we went to pay the extra appetizer we ordered was not comped. I went to lunch on February 5th to Chili's in burlington. The food was okay but it was hard to get over what happened in the beginning. Our server brought us silverware and when we pulled it out of the package it wasn't just dirty it was filthy. We let them know about it and asked for the manager. A white male came out with plastic ware for to go items. we were like don't you have clean silverware as I would expect to eat with silverware when I am dining in. His reply was well you never know what is going on around here. Really scared to go back. I've had things happen at other restaurants but again this was filthy silverware! read more

For context, please see my review today of Red Robin in Burlington, NC. After our inexcusable treatment at Red Robin, my daughter and I were of course still hungry. We still wanted burgers so we went to Chil's Bar & Grill in Burlington, NC. We shared a brief description of our Red Robin experience with our server to which she said, "Oh, we won't have any problems with that. We have a couple of really good cooks tonight." Well...our burgers came back even rawer than the ones at Red Robin. We sent them back. They came back pink again. The server asked if we wanted to send them back again and I said that I would just eat the well-done parts as I was really hungry. She had a good attitude and the kitchen staff didn't get angry so we just paid the tab and left. We normally don't have any issues with undercooked burgers at Chili's. We chalked the whole day up to something in the atmosphere. read more

I will not waste my money at this location anymore!! I've order To Go about a dozen times now and only three of those times was my order right. Sometimes it was just missing garnishes like slice of lime and pica degallo but other times it would have the wrong order completely or wrong sides. This last time which btw caused me to break down and cry and I'm still waiting for them to bring out the remade order 45 mins later this time the order of chicken was such small strips they wouldn't be enough to fill up my 7 year old and they were again missing garnishing then they tried to justify it by saying it's always 3 strips... yes but they are good size strips this was unacceptable I will spend my money at cookout and get more food For my money and just as good I feel cheated and wish I hadn't decided to spend my hard earned money here. read more

"Oh...no thank you." These are the words you should speak when someone offers to take you here. The reason for two starts is because the server was friendly and attentive but it stops there for me. I originally ordered a bacon chicken quesadilla with house salad but the cucumbers gave me an indication not to have salad because they were old. I replaced the salad with the chicken soup which was just melted cheese with chicken cubes. I decided to take my meal To-go and just had my chips and salsa only to come home and see crumbles of bacon and bits of chicken that almost resembled a quesadilla. I have been to this Chili's so many times since moving to North Carolina. I always have a fantastic experience with the staff both waiters And bartenders. When I go to Chili's typically you get the same thing because It's always fantastic. Are usually get the grilled chicken Caesar salad. I would highly recommend the salad for anyone who goes to Chili's. The salad itself is very large and I'll always leave with extras. The beer is average price for a restaurant in this area but they do have a wide variety of beers which I really enjoy. When I go out to eat at tend to look for places that have a good selection of draft beer. If you are fond of craft beer I would definitely recommend the white zombie. I really enjoy Belgian wheat style beers and this one is absolutely amazing. This restaurant is also a family friendly! read more

The hostess told us we had to scan the QR code to get the menu, but gave the table next to us menus. We ordered our food, an hour and a half later, we got our food. Nothing was great. My sons bun on his burger was so hard he just ate the patties. My husband had a piece of hard plastic in his pasta. We will not return. Only good thing about chili's was the music! read more
