Loved this place growing up. But either I changed or the food did. It's a nice environment and great to meet friends to hang out a bit. But the food quality isn't really something to keep you coming back. The service of the staff was ok. We hung out and enjoyed talking.

It's sad to say, but this restaurant needs better management as well as waitresses. Our waitress would leave us without checking in for a long period of time, so much so we arrived at 8:40pm and left around 10:30pm. The ambiance was OK, but only because it is rushed and fast paced. I feel like I cannot enjoy my meal appropriately.

Triple Dipper - Big Mouth Bites, Fried Pickles, and Crispy Honey-Chipotle Chicken Crispers

Chili's is one of those restaurants that you can never go wrong with going to. They have one of my favorite restaurant food items the Triple Dipper. If your the type of person that loves variety you need to go to Chilis and pick your triple dipper out!! Another thing I love about Chilis is the chips and salsa, it seems like the chips always come out perfectly soft and crunchy. One of the things in my triple dipper was wrong but our waitress was very polite and got me the right choice instantly. I guess I got an quadruple dipper if you will haha!! From the big mouth bites, to the southwest egg rolls, and even the honey chipotle chicken crispers it is an amazing delicious meal. The southwest egg rolls with ranch on the side is something I would recommend if you have never gotten them before. All-around Chili's is an amazing place, with good food, and a very comfortable restaurant environment.

I took my boys here to eat and it was a pleasure. Our server was very attentive and present. She made sure we had everything we needed and was very prompt. My boys got a cheese pizza with fries and the other got mac and cheese with mandarin oranges and broccoli. I got a lunch special that included loaded baked potato soup and a grilled chicken bacon and avocado sandwich Everything came out hot and fresh. The first bite was just as good as the last. My boys ate all their food faster than I have ever seen. The music was a perfect volume and the restaurant was very clean. The bathrooms were well kept and stocked. I was very happy with the visit and our server made the experience that much better.

There is plenty of parking in a charming plaza, and the restaurant sits right on the lake with beautiful fountain and water views. The restaurant itself is very nice, with great lighting, cute tables that each include their own personal TV, a stylish bar area, and plenty of seating both indoors and outside. Our server was great. I believe his name was Felipe or Philip. The food was also very good. Chips and Guac: Thin, crispy chips that were not overly salted. The guacamole was fantastic, with fresh pico mixed in and a true guacamole taste, not just mashed avocado. Pomegranate Chicken: My friend ordered this and loved it. It was served over couscous with a dipping sauce on the side. All of the flavors worked really well together. Steak Tips: Cooked perfectly and served with a salad. My other friend really enjoyed this dish. The meat was tender and flavorful. Kids Meal: Not pictured, but the chicken tenders came with fries. The chicken was grilled, which I thought was a great option. The fries were a hit with both the toddler and mom, who happily snacked on them too. I had a glass of Pessimist wine after asking for a recommendation for something slightly sweeter. It was the bartender's suggestion. It was just okay for me. I did not find it sweet, but compared to a drier red, it was definitely smoother and softer in taste. We really enjoyed our visit and spent some time walking around outside afterward. Such a cute spot, and we would definitely return.

Usually a restaurant like this would be packed. Once we got to our table there were flys everywhere. I think we saw about 5 of them on the table or against the window. The staff was actually nice and they did move us to another seat that had less flys, but I still saw one or two after eating. The food itself was ok. I got the fried chicken spicy sandwich and the chicken was not crispy and the fries were a little soggy. My wife got the terriaki tocos which were decent but the side salad was a little underwheling being that is was just pure lettuce. While the staff was very friendly, I can't recommend this place. The price was a little more than I would expect for the caliber of food and the flys are a big turn off. I saw bluelights throught the resturaunt, so I it seems like they are aware of the issue.

After fasting for a blood test, I was starving! I could not wait to head over and check out the new…read moreKeke's Breakfast Cafe in Parkland at the Waterways Shoppes. Keke's is a chain of breakfast and lunch restaurants that opened in 2006 and is based out of Orlando. They have grown to locations all over Florida. I have dined at their Boca and Winter Park locations before. In July 2022, they were purchased by the Denny's Corporation, but Keke's continues to operate separately from Denny's. According to their website, "Keke's Breakfast Cafe is dedicated to providing an outstanding breakfast; a meal where everything is handmade, using the best ingredients available, with fresh fruits and vegetables delivered daily, and using the highest quality bread and dairy products." They pride themselves on service, cleanliness, and quality, and that is what keeps bringing me back. This Keke's location is really bright and colorful. I love the pastel color scheme and Florida-centric theme. The Parkland mural is an especially nice touch. They have a large dining room and a few seats on the patio out back overlooking the waterway. Sierra was my server, and she was so sweet and attentive. I started off with some much needed coffee, which is great here. Bad coffee is a pet peeve of mine. Keke's has the sort of indulgent breakfast menu I love, with stuffed French toast and fruit-topped waffles and pancakes. If you are not into sweet, dessert like breakfasts, they also have a savory lunch menu with sandwiches, salads, and wraps. The entire menu makes my mouth water, especially the decadent stuffed French toast options. I ended up choosing the cinnamon apple French toast and made it a combo with home fries and bacon. Everything was perfection, but my eyes were bigger than my stomach, and I ended up needing a take-home box. While I was dining, Sierra kept the coffee flowing and checked in often. If you are looking for both great food and great service, give Keke's a try. I am so glad to have a location closer to home.

Not up to the Keke's Standard…read more I was looking forward to a comforting Keke's breakfast after a morning in the heat, and was disappointed. The caramel pecan French toast was missing the caramel. The bread was airy which made for a strange texture when I added the watered down and tasteless syrup. The bread also didn't see like it was soaked in batter, just put in a toaster and plated. The bananas on the French toast were from a what seemed a 6 day old ripe banana. You wouldn't need teeth to eat them. The eggs were overcooked and had absolutely no seasoning. The manager said he doesn't like his chef overusing salt, but a bit of salt (and at least butter) is needed to cook eggs. The bacon was cooked well, but still seemed a bit chewy. The only good things about the meal were the grapes and oranges in the side of fruit. Don't think I'll come back to this location, but I won't rule out Keke's next time. The staff seemed friendly enough.

I ONLY REVIEW NACHOS…read more The bartender talked up Duffy's nachos like she had stock in the place. Turns out she was right. That doesn't happen often in this series. Hand-cut chips that held up start to finish. Queso blanco distributed across every chip. No naked chips. No lettuce avalanche. No Fork Rule violation. This is what nacho construction is supposed to look like and most places can't figure it out. The sriracha aioli exists -- I confirmed it on a napkin test. You just won't taste it on the plate. The blackened chicken and sautéed onions steamroll everything underneath them. Lose the onions, double the jalapeños, let the aioli actually show up -- this is a 9. The empty plate said everything. Every. Single. Chip. Gone. Duffy's is in the conversation. Fix the details and they might just win it. Who'd of thought?? 7.5/10 on the Florida Nacho Man scale. 4/5 stars on Yelp. When you walk in, there is absolutely no explanation of how to order. No host, no greeting, no signage, no "order here" instructions. Nothing. The ordering kiosk is literally behind you. It's mounted along the window and wall on the same side as the entrance door, tucked back in the corner and completely out of plain sight. You don't face it when you walk in, nothing points to it, and there's no indication that it even exists unless someone else tells you or you randomly turn around and spot it. There is no human interaction at all. You eventually realize you're supposed to order from a computer kiosk you weren't meant to notice, and that's the entire process. Once you place your order, the service somehow gets worse. The food comes out very slowly, and not together. It arrives one item at a time, spaced out randomly. There are no napkins and no utensils available, so you're forced to keep asking just to be able to eat. Drinks are served in cans, and even then, I had to ask multiple times to actually get them. Nothing is brought automatically. No one checks on you. No one explains anything. The frustrating part is this: the food is excellent. The food was reasonably priced for portion size but the quality was really low. We enjoyed the complimentary basket of fried flour tortilla chips and the salsa was basic but okay. The Carne Asada Nacho platter was disappointing in the ingredients. It was supposed to have guacamole on it but it was more of an avocado cream and very liquidy. The asada meat was seasoned well but it was chewy in a bad way. The chicken burrito was heavy but full of too much rice and it was lacking seasoning. The Tamale Platter was nice and freshly made. The rice and beans on the side was not housemade but from a can. I think the new owners are trying to cut too many corners and will not get repeat customers. There was just nothing special about anything at this place and even their only hot sauce that can be added for some heat to the meal is a watered down green tomatillo mild sauce or a red pepper mild sauce which both are served in a cold squirt bottle unless you pay almost $2 for a small roasted jalapeño.
