It's Chili's... I know what I'm getting. I just really like the skillet queso and chips and salsa. Thought I could make a really small order and get it in less than 30 minutes. Nope. Sat in the take-out area for over an hour while the kitchen was crazy. The area was packed full of people waiting. Then, finally getting their food and leaving. And I was still there. They really need to get some things straightened out here. Update: I thought I'd try to come again. It's been 8 months since I tried to go and waited forever for my app. Walked in at 1:30 on a Wednesday and was told the wait would be 20 minutes. There were at least a dozen open tables that I could see from just a quick glance and 2 parties waiting in front of me. What?? This is such a terrible Chili's. Decided to drive on down Clemson Blvd and ended up being seated immediately at Fatz. read more

First time at this chilis location. We walked to our table and the floors were COVERED in food/trash so much that our shoes were sticking to the floor. We got to our table which was also sticky and the booth had crumbs all over. We asked for wet wipes to clean our table ourselves. There was no airflow so the air actually felt thick and sticky as well. I ordered a burger and wasn't asked how i wanted it cooked but it came to the table without the fries on the plate and 2 tiny pieces of soggy avocado on the burger... I asked the server for fries and he looked at me confused as if it doesn't clearly state on the menu that all burgers come with fries.. my fiancé got some smokehouse combo that comes with Texas toast and without an explanation was given a random breadstick instead of the Texas toast. The food was fine for a chain restaurant but overall the place was so gross and unkempt. Won't be returning. read more

came in asked for a premium draft beer they we out this a #1 selling beer in america , ordered hot wings came out with so much hot sause i could not taste the chicken , ate a few not any good got home and got sick because of undercooked wings , this is the only thing i ordered , read more

We waited on our food for 1.5 hours. We ordered grilled chicken fajitas, baby back ribs, and two orders of chicken crispers. When we got our food, it was all room temperature/cold. We asked to talk to the manager, and she would not come to our table... Our waiter was awesome and took care of us, but this was a disappointing visit. read more

I had to check to verify I wasn't in an episode of Kitchen Nightmares !!! We had the sampler as an app, on it we chose the fried pickles (burnt and crazy salty), southwest eggrolls ( basically burnt beans from 2 days ago that resembled baby poop), and cheese curds (cold and rubberish). This should have been enough to tell me to leave but I'd never eaten here. We chose the 2 for $25 as our main course. We both got the salad which was just bland. I don't know why but none of it had a taste. At this point, the waiter asked how everything was and I explained it to him and we basically were told that is how the food came and we could leave if we weren't happy. I should have!! So my main course comes, I had the chicken fajitas They looked very nice and I expected a nice flavor with the mix of ingredients but I was disappointed again with no flavor. It was literally just beyond bland. My lady friend had chicken tenders, fries, and corn on the cob. She took a couple of bites and ate the corn and ask for a box for the rest so we could treat our fur baby. So this was basically $45 bucks that we threw away!! The sweet tea was on point though!!! The kitchen staff sounded as if they were having a good time in the back though....at least someone enjoyed their night. read more

We were told it would be a 30 minute wait for a table. There were open tables EVERYWHERE, but we were understanding bc they said they were short staffed. 50 minutes later, after we watched multiple large parties leave, and they claimed to still not have any tables available! The "short staff" excuse was hard to sympathize with when we watched 2 girls stand at the hostess stand the entire time we were sitting there waiting. If they are short on staff then they should make better use of the staff they have. This was not the first bad experience we've had with the service at this restaurant. Needless to say we will not be going back until we see an "under new management" being advertised. read more

We always love chilis no matter what town we are in. We get it to go often and even dine in. Great service and great food

Good food when you can actually eat there. This is second time I've been there and waited 40 minutes all the while seeing half the place empty. Literally empty tables and people standing around outside waiting to eat. read more

Overpriced food, and flat beer and they didn't even wipe our booth down. After all that our server only checked in on us ONE time throughout our 45 minute stay. read more

The food is chain resturant quality. Ribs were tasty, wet style, the sides dishes, mashed potatoes, steak fries and asparagus were seasoned well, flavorful and presented well. Cold beer served with plentiful of limes. The resturant was clean and the server was abundance of personality, however seemed to be covering many tables thereby making the service slow. I liked the place and food and would return. read more

Let's be honest: it's Chili's. Not really sure what people are expecting -- it's the same food/menu everywhere you go for about the same price. You're never going to be "wowed" by their food or their service, you just hope you're not extremely disappointed haha. This was my first experience at the Anderson restaurant and it was on a Wednesday during lunch. The service was fine, the food came out quickly, and I left happy. That's about all I could ever ask from a Chili's restaurant. read more

I would do anything to find a Chili's which could make a decent hamburger. The piece of asphalt on a bun which they delivered me just did not cut it. Chili's used to be a fun place to go... What happened? Where did the quality go? read more

Absolutely terrible. Bartender made multiple personal attacks and food was cold. No thanks

My experience today was sooo bad. I walked in with my 5 year old little girl and first was asked if I wanted to eat at the bar?!?!? Really??? Our server hpwever was freally good. I had the Buffalo Ranch Chicken sandwich and paid $1 extra for the seasoned onion rings. The chicken was dry and tasted like it had been sitting in a pan for sometime then lathered with a buffalo sauce that was mainly salt then lathered on one side with so much mayo it oozed out of the bun and the ranch on top was not much better. The 7 onion rings I paid an extra dollar for was seasoned qith lawrys season salt and paprika...needless to say i have had better at Burger King! The very last time I will be visiting this location. read more

Great food and great prices. However, they are understaffed. If they could hire some more people it would help out a lot. I always enjoy coming here. read more

We came in needing a table for 8 with 2 kids, stopping on the way through from PA. They could not have been more hospitable and FAST which is what we told them we needed!! All the staff was super sweet and the food was excellent. Fajitas, margarita chicken, Mac and cheese! We had a most enjoyable meal. read more

5:30pm on a weekday and there's maybe about 3 other tables besides ours. That should've been the first sign for us to leave, but we stayed for the happy hour specials that only happen if you sit in the bar and the lounge. Our server was too busy talking to a coworker that was on their break to pay attention to us whatsoever. We didn't even get our drinks until 10 minutes after ordering them, and she only realized after we had to grab her attention. Mind you these were soft drinks so they didn't require any mixology skills whatsoever. The food took a long time and the pasta I ordered had basically 0 sauce, so I basically paid for noodles and undercooked grilled chicken. I love the Chili's franchise but this location was unacceptable... no wonder there's been a "help wanted" sign for the past year. read more

Went here with my in-laws on a Sunday night. The place was busy, but not packed, so we got seated immediately. Took a few minutes for someone to come over & get our drink orders. Our waitress was really friendly & knowledgeable. My sister-in-law and I both got fajitas with extra peppers, hubby got chicken crispers & brother-in-law got a steak. When they bought out our fajitas, they were sizzling, but the peppers were still raw. Maybe a mistake on our part by ordering extra peppers, but we were both disappointed. Hubby's fries were cold and the chicken was kind of tough. Had a red velvet cake dessert shot that was yummy and SIL had the Molton Chocolate cake, which was really good too. They also have good mango iced tea. I'd probably give em another shot, but seems like all Chili's are getting poor reviews from what I've seen. read more

This place is NOT a smoke-free restaurant. They say it will be as of 3/1/14. Smoke smell wasn't noticeable and there was a non-smoking section. Ignored for a bit too long when we arrived, but our server Lisa was very pleasant and very knowledgeable about the menu. Oven problems kept my husband from getting his pizza but server was apologetic and offered a free salad as compensation. Chicken Enchilada soup is cream based rather than broth, but it was tasty and huge portion. Bacon Avocado Chicken Sandwich on Pretzel Roll was huge but pretty bland. Turns out the oven got fixed and hubby's Pizza showed up -- for no charge -- shortly after his burger and fries arrived. All in all service was very good, portions were more than adequate, and flavor was just average. read more

Chipotle bowl, the burgers, the ribs, street corn, and the MOLTEN cake are amazing! The service was great when I went. Saturday and Friday nights seems very packed and the servers are running around like crazy. The host was very nice and greeting also. The manager stopped by the table to see how we were doing also. The only reason it is four stars is because of how packed the weekends are. read more

We recently ate dinner at our local Chili's in Anderson. The restaurant was dirty and the service was horrible. The hostess and servers looked so sloppy, especially the hostess. That person is the first impression when you walk in the door - do you really want a sloppy dressed person to greet you? It just makes me feel like the employees don't care when they don't keep the place clean and take pride in their own appearance. Also our server had her face mask down below her chin and she was right on top of me when she took our order. I won't eat there again. read more

Attempted to enjoy dinner with my family, but upon arrival we noticed a roach crawling on the wall. Once noticed by the kids we reached out to the server to warn about the roach. He got angry at us and said he will not remove the roach he serves his customers with his hand. We just wanted it reported but no response. Disgusting! read more

One word disgusting and the service is horrible. Manager or assistant manager don't know which one he was cause he did not great us there was no one at the hostess stand we stood there for 10 min before we were even approached. Sat down table was wet and the table ziosk was FILTHY. Waitress did not take our order until another waitress told her she needed to wait on our table . Bathroom was revolting. read more

I had ordered chips and salsa, a drink, and chicken crispers. They had brought out my chips and salsa, I had ate about 20 or so chips, I go to scoop and I see something that I had thought was apart of the salsa. As I lift my chip I notice that it was not salsa, but a ROACH! The manager had come over and told us "it unfortunately happens, we have had people come out here to try and get it under control. I'm sorry that it happened to y'all" She offered to have our bill covered if we continued to stay, and have the rest of our meal brought out to us. We did not stay and ended up leaving. read more

May be the Covid and lack of staffing, but they have over an hour wait for a 4 top on Sunday for lunch. More than half the tables are empty but that isn't because of social distancing. Entire sections are just closed off while the are that is opened is packed. read more

I would give a much worse rating if the food had been bad & a kind waiter hadn't picked up the slack, which wasn't my actual waiter. My waiter was Tony. At first I thought this is going to be an awesome dinner cause we've actually been looking forward to taking the kids there, they'd never been. But Tony, Tony, Tony.... you made the night horrible! Someone else had to step in & take our drink orders because Tony walked past us 3 times without acknowledging us. Once he was near the bathrooms on his cell phone. Then he tried to act like he was upset because someone else came to take our drink order. It took him 17 mins to put in our order for fried pickles before he came back to ask us if we were ready to order. By the way he had us & 1 other table of 3. My husband had given up on ordering & went to the restroom & of course Tony finally came back. He asks if we're ready to order & I told him my husband should be right out. Tony left again. 22 mins later we get our fried pickles & he asks if we're ready to order. Our drinks are empty at this point & he didn't acknowledge it so I asked for refills for everyone. He took our order & went on his way. 11 mins later another waiter comes by & asks if we'd like refills? I told him I had asked Tony but he never came back. I look over at Tony's other table & they're looking for him also. Finally Tony comes back & gives us all refills. I had ordered an Arnold Palmer & he brought me a drink that I thought had dirt in it. Turns out it was a strawberry lemonade (which Tony took back & drank himself after I questioned it) then he brought me a plain lemonade. When our food was brought out he forgot my daughters fries, my fries, and the corn that came with mine. He told me he'd go check on it. The kind waiter came back by & asked if everything was okay. I told him what was missing & he went to go check on it. He came back with everything that was missing immediately. Tony 9 mins later came by to tell us they had just dropped fries so we would have to wait more to get them, didn't apologize or anything & tried to make it out like it was the cooks fault. Then it clicks finally with Tony that we already have the food. He asks how is everything & disappears again. We finish our meal & thank God we could pay at the table & not have to wait on Tony again. I had to walk to the bar from the bathroom are to find a waiter so I could get to go boxes. They ask me where's my waiter? Told them I didn't know I hadn't seen him for majority of our visit. So I'm only giving 3 stars because the food was good & the kind waiter who's name I wish I had gotten (tall blonde man) were the only good things about our visit. Oh & your bathrooms are absolutely appalling & not stocked. Can't say we will be visiting again anytime soon & if we do for some reason, we better not get Tony or I'm walking back out the door! He clearly doesn't appreciate having a job during the pandemic. read more

Ordered takeout and was given a pickup time in 20 min. Arrived with 5 min. to spare. Was still waiting 24 min. later. Was supposed to be curbside delivery but finally went inside to see if there was a problem. They handed me the order as I walked in. Had ordered 2 entrees and a child's order. Wife's burger was cold with lettuce limp; my salad was a mess and had no avocado as was promised by menu. Child's burger wasn't edible. Learned a lesson. Won't make that mistake again. read more

Dude Chili's is pretty rad. I've never been before and my mom and dad were like "yo wanna go to Chili's" I was like "Aight bet." I didn't really have high expectations but I will from now on. The food was amazing, I killed the Boss Burger, no problem at all. Cassidy was our server, the cute one, and she was the best server I've ever had, she joked around with us the whole time! This place by far is the best! On Sunday's it can be a bit crowded(especially after a Clemson game). But still! Terrible service. Food is always cold. Had half the restaurant empty and sat a party of 12 in a full bar. Manager walks by aaa I am asking the hostess for our server. Manager instead of stopping to see why, just kept walking. Save yourself the pain and go across the street to Longhorn. read more
