SO GLAD we went in. The place is cutely decorated, and they got super busy by the time we left. I would say it was also some of the best Mexican food I've had. The flavors were so layered and their drinks were perfect as well. Don sleep on this place if you're in the area.

The staff was all wearing Christmas sweaters and so very nice. They even had Santa there last night for the kids. The food was really good and I loved that the menu was not the typical Mexican menu. They had cooler options and some of the traditional favorites. Everything was very tasty and highly recommend the mango shrimp taco. I liked that our chips came with bean dip and salsa instead of that sweet white sauce. Drinks were on point and very large. The coco margaritas are simply divine. Run, don't walk here!

They had a pretty nice outdoor patio but it was too hot for that. We had a really nice server, young handsome guy. He was very attentive and replenished our chips periodically when they ran low. We stopped by the salsa bar and grabbed a plethora of different kinds. Unfortunately there were a couple that were "bad" or started to ferment. It was not a pleasant way to find out and I didn't want to point it out to the server because it may just be me. My husband did taste it and agree that it was like that but didn't want to make a big deal of it so we just ate the chips. I got carne asada because it was so good last time and hubby got some asada tacos. When my entree came, I noticed the rice looked to be either undercooked or possibly al dente because of the texture, you could see each grain and it wasn't soft and fluffy looking. When I went to take a spoonful it was actually cooked but could tell it was overly saturated in butter. I have never had Mexican style rice cooked this way and it was a bad representation of it. I understand if they want to be more Americanized or cater to a certain demographic but rice is simple and it tastes best made the authentic way, not with a bunch of butter. It was inedible for me and I just worked around the rest. The steak had a good char and had nice flavor, but was a bit dry. The tacos my husband ordered seemed a bit messy, and the meat was in large chunks rather than chopped in smaller pieces like how we've normally had steak tacos. Just didn't seem like there was a lot of effort put into the food made that night and we will most likely go back to the other location instead. Service was good, food and drinks were underwhelming.

Cute little restaurant with an interesting menu. Service was awesome. As we waited for all our party to get there we were served a complimentary soup. We ordered sporadically during the evening. This would be a nice place for date night. Ambiance is romantic and casual. I'd give it a second visit. (Next time I'll remember to take pics of the food. )

My friends and I came here on a Friday night, and the staff was excellent. We ordered a lot of waters, and they were constantly refilling them without us even having to ask. The service overall was super attentive. I got the barbecue nachos. I know that's not the most authentic Mexican option, but I saw it on the menu and had to try it. They were pretty good. I also ordered a mango margarita -- it was my first one, so I'm not the best judge, but I really liked it. My friend got the coconut margarita, and that one was very good too. Overall, the staff here is excellent, the food is solid, and the atmosphere makes it a really fun place to hang out. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the Keowee area.
