This was my wife's and I favorite spot! We would come 2-3x a week. Food was good the service was amazing. We regularly get takeout as well with no issues. Today was the last time we will be dinning here. I waited 10 minutes to pick up the order while everyone just walked by me and didn't say a word it was empty so no one was busy with a table or anything like that. A regular walked in while I still waited to have someone come ring me up to get my food. He was happily greeted and taken care of. Fast forward to getting home with our food! And wtf. Disgusting quality now. Beans were hard and not edible. The steak was not very good in our fajita. Had no flavor. We got NO TORTILLAS with our fajitas make that make sense. Half filled $11 large cheese dip, with a half filled salsa and half filled chips. For almost $50 this is ridiculous. We won't be back anymore. Huge decline overall, it's really sad to see. read more

The family came in to celebrate my aunts favorite place to eat. We had a large group and the young lady waiting on us was very good, friendly and helpful. It was early afternoon and we had the place to ourselves. I always get fajitas and my niece and I shared a combo of chicken and shrimp. I was a little disappointed on the number of shrimp we got but they gave lots of chicken. We ordered the Queso and it was a little runny. But the margaritas were excellent. My cousin got the California burrito and I was surprised, being from CA, that it was as big as one is in California. She said it was good. I will miss coming here and visiting Seneca now that my aunt has passed, but I have lots fond memories at Los Amigos. read more

Service was excellent. Quick and friendly. Food was good. It wasn't as flavorful as we had hoped with the exception of the Camaron al Putazo. The "Mexican shrimp boil" was full of flavor. The garlic salsa was exceptional. Shrimp were slightly overcooked. The bread was a great addition to soak up all the sauce. The combo plate was ok - I'll try something else next time. Never again. I ordered take out. I ordered the carnitas with refried beans, salad. No rice, my choice. It was a disappointment and waste of money. There were only 5 small pieces of meat. Very little salad and the beans were in a small bowl. The taste of the meat was nothing to brag about. The beans were salty. No guacamole in the salad just sour cream. For this they charge $15+. This has been one of my family's favorite go to spots for probably around 10 years. I no longer live in the area but we went last weekend when I was visiting home. Our waiter was funny and helpful. The food was tasty as always. My only gripe were the hot wings that we ordered as the appetizer. I know I know, hot wings at a Mexican restaurant? Their wings are actually pretty good and well cooked, however, they where the tiniest wings I've ever seen! Tiny hot wings won't keep us away from Los Amigos though. We love it! read more

I have eaten here twice. The first time was a good experience. The food was very good and the service was great. I looked forward to returning. My second experience was not so great. Service was okay, but the food left something to be desired. The chalupa was okay and the enchilada was good also. But the chile relleno was not chile relleno. Usually, a chile relleno will be a poblano chile that is stuffed with cheese, or cheese and meat of one kind or another, dipped in a flour batter and then fried. The chile relleno was not made with a poblano chile. It was a bell pepper. It was open with cheese and meat on top of both halves (relleno means refilled or stuffed, not topped). A few bites of the pepper were cold (temperature). It was not run through a flour batter nor fried, not even baked. I got the impression it was microwaved. That the pepper was a bell pepper I can excuse, but the rest was inexcusable. To be fair, my wife enjoyed and liked her meal. It wasn't the best she'd had, but it was good. Terrible service. The waitress in the bar is not attentive at all. We had to get the attention of the bartender to let him know that nobody had approached us after 20 minutes of sitting there. The waitress was in and out never even looked at our table. The food runner shoved plates at us, as if it were an incovenience to him. We asked for a bag of chips to go, never got them. When we went to pay, we spoke with the owner about our experience, he didn't care one iota. We are regulars and have recommended Los Amigos to many people. He even. acknowledged that fact, but could care less that we had a horrible experience on this night. He just made excuses saying the waitress was new, and had a very uncaring attitude with us. Their version of a chile relleno was half a raw but warm bell pepper with ground beef and smothered in cheese... Like, what? That's not even a chile relleno! The server said it was very good... He wasn't attentive (sitting in a corner table with his computer doing something with other servers) and messed up our order because he didn't know the menu when we asked for combo plates... Really good Mexican... I ate with friends for a business discussion. Good atmosphere, very clean fresh, very Mexican looking. The waitstaff was attentive, they handled a late arrival well, managing to get all three plates out at the same time. The place was quiet enough for good conversation. Chips were good. Salsa was not my favorite, but I still enjoyed it. Reasonably priced, the food was just fine. It's not going to rate 5 stars from me, but it's a solid 3 maybe 4. We had great staff here tonight. The service was excellent all the way around from the host, waiter, and management. They were quick, answered questions, and not overbearing or pushy. The waiter also had a good command of the menu and handled vegetarian recommendations well. The food was large in portion and seems fairly fresh. The only thing good at this restaurant are the margaritas. The service is absolutely the worst. The servers are running around literally wrestling on the ground while others are smoking their Vape pens all over the restaurant. All while taking selfies and completely ignoring your table. Ate here for the first time yesterday at lunch, and thought it was decent. The chips and salsa were good - not the best I've had, but good...the tea was good, light and fresh. (I get unsweetened tea) I got L-5 (burrito, taco and rice) - it was a little heavy, as most Mexican food made with beef can be, because the burrito was made with ground beef and so was the taco. Both were okay, nothing special. The rice was pretty good, better than some Mexican places I have had. Someone wrote in another review that they charge you for more chips and salsa...that was not our experience - they brought us more without being asked. The greeter was courteous and took us right to our table. The server was friendly and very efficient. He kept our drinks filled and chips and salsa coming AND he had a great sense of humor. If I were rating this place on the server, I would go with 4 stars, but the fact is, at least on this visit, it was a lot like any other Mexican place with regard to the food -- pretty good, but nothing special. We have been coming to this restaurant for years, at least once a week. Food has usually been very good. Today was our last visit and will not ever go back. Our waitress had an attitude the second we sat down. There were only 3 other people there eating. they left before we were served leaving our party as the only guests in the place. The waitress got one of our orders wrong and wanted to argue with us, "that is how it comes" she finally says, "fine, I'll bring you another one." I wish it ended here, but that was just the beginning. She never checked on our table. no one had any drink left. We sat there for at least 30min waiting for our check. Finally we were getting tired of waiting. All the waiters & waitresses, as well as manager (NOT) were sitting around the corner eating. We asked if we could get our bill. The waitress brought the bill's over. My daughter asked for a discount cause of the very poor service and wait. (we are the only Guests there) The waitress replied "you got your beverage and your food, what more do you want?) This set my daughter off. My daughter stated it would have been nice if you checked on us, refilled our drinks. At this point the entire restaurant staff came to our table yelling at us. The manager was yelling The waitress is pregnant for the reason of our very poor service. At this point manager and waitress are yelling at my daughter and her husband. My grand daughter was scared. Another was now yelling at me. The manager yelled for us to leave and never come back. Well guess what....we won't. My husband put our bill and payment on the counter cause there was no one there to take it. they were all yelling at my daughter and me at this point. We left the building. The manager now comes out yelling "we are calling the cops cause you didn't pay your bill." I told her in a not so nice way that we left it at the register. She then yells well your daughter didn't pay. No, she didn't they were told to leave and never come back.. Well if you read this and still desire to go, good luck. Los Amigos used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. The last two times we have eaten there, we have been disappointed. The most recent experience was pretty unpleasant (though not dreadful). The service was mostly great. We were promptly greeted & seated upon arrival. Our drinks came quickly. Our server answered our questions to the best of her ability, kept our drinks full, and even joked with my toddler. The food runners are always a little impolite, but understandably so as rushed as they are. Upon sitting down, we noticed they have gone up on their prices ($1.50 for a side of sour cream???). I ordered the "El Combo Special" ($13.50) because I couldn't decide what I wanted. I ordered "chicken nuggets" ($4.95) for my daughter. The chicken nuggets (which were very generously proportioned) came first (as requested). We were given a dingy, old old old, bottle of ketchup that tasted horrible. The chicken had the same texture as a mcnugget from McDonald's (gross!), and they had no flavor whatsoever. My food arrived next. I tried each item included with the meal. The chile rellano was colorless, and bland bland bland. The pepper didn't even have flavor. The chalupa was decent, but half of it was shoved underneath the chile and thus, soggy. The enchilada was also bland. The burrito tasted very salty, which is out of the ordinary. None of the dishes were worth a second bite. When our server came to check on us, I sent food back (for the first time in my life, mind you!) because I was not happy with it. She apologized. When she returned, she offered our check. We were surprised to see that we were charged for the full amount of the meal that I took (literally) 4 bites of. As we were paying, I told the cashier that I did not eat the dish. He told me I would have to talk to "her" about that, because that's "her money." Then he promptly walked away to find my server, they discussed for a moment, then he returned. I started to apologize for being a pest, but he cut me off to tell me my total would be $28. I was still charged $5 for my meal, and never told why I was paying AT ALL for a meal that I did not eat. I have been to Los Amigos many times & always enjoyed the food (ALWAYS!). But both recent visits resulted in utter disappointment. Jacking up prices to reduce food quality.
