We do recommend Southern steakhouse. We were pleasantly surprised as we were seated in the graciously spaced restaurant. Our service was spot on our food was very good. Twice we have ordered steaks and the steaks were cooked too perfection. We've since gone back a couple of times with the same experience. They do not serve alcohol, however, but they do allow you to bring in your own and they will provide the glasses. Interesting concept. But yes, we would go again! read more

This is the best value in Seneca for a "no frills meal". The portions are quite generous, the service is quick and professional, and it has a family friendly atmosphere. Totally random stop on the way back home from a trip. Saturday at 1 pm, there was a good crowd. My wife got the shrimp salad, it was huge! The salad extra fresh and the shrimp were large and cooked perfectly. I went with the al la carte tacos. Two Al Pastor and one Carnitas. The Carnitas was wonderful, very tasty and flavorful. The Al Pastor was a little on the dry side, still good, but not he best. I ordered tow, because I wanted to dry both corn and flour tortillas. Decent meal, but would have been awesome served with some cheese, sour cream, anything --- just plane meat on a tortilla is kind of boring. Stopped by on a whim for lunch. We were seated right away. They have a lunch special menu which I ordered from and thought by looking at the dinner menu that I must come back for dinner sometime! We've driven past this restaurant for years and finally decided to stop in and try it. What a huge disappointment. If you're a steakhouse, cooking a steak to the proper medium rare temperature should be the easiest culinary task for your chef. These pictures show the porterhouse and filet. Never seen a 1/4" thick porterhouse. It was pale, thin and overcooked. The waitress even apologized for the "color of the steak" and offered me 15% off the bill. What??? No thank you. So I ordered the filet mignon. Hard to over cook one of those. But this chef did. Again, thin and pale and overcooked. Looked horrible. On top of that, they didn't bring it out with the sides. Just a nasty looking steak on a small saucer. So bad. I only gave it 1 star because the waitress was attentive and sweet, and didn't charge me for either. Food is good, but a little pricey. Service was awful. Went there on a Saturday and expected busy, but we waited more than an hour to get the order. Server kept saying order was placed and it won't be long. We got to the point where we almost walked out because of the long wait at the table. Saw some people who came in late had their order and left. What's wrong with this picture? We were traveling through Seneca, and we were looking for a place to eat lunch, and we saw the sign for this restaurant, the atmosphere is very inviting, the menu selections a little sparse for lunch, so let's start with appetizers I got the chicken wings with the southern tangy sauce, to say that I've had better wings would be an understatement, these wings left a bit to be desired I was very disappointed. my wife and I both got the shrimp salad which is a highly recommended dish, it was delicious plenty of big juicy shrimp you will not be disappointed. This is our second visit. The first time was much better than this time. The onion rings are now frozen. They said they have made several changes. Well they were not good changes. Never judge a book by its cover, drove by this place a dozen times finally tried them out. Service was Pleasant, however, when inquiring about the meal I was contemplating ordering. It definitely made me scratch my head. Let me explain. If all steak and seafood entrées come with two sides, then why would a combination another words, surf and turf only come with one side; which is stated on the menu, however, when inquired about it, was told that the shrimp that was accompanying my sirloin was considered one side .. I find that to be the Restaurants prerogative and it is clearly stated on the menu, however, Ludacris just my opinion. Additionally, if I wanted a second side to go with my surf and turf, it would be $4.99, again I find that to be outrageously ludicrous. Lastly, I will say the food was good. read more

My husband and I love this place! It doesn't look like too much from the outside - but the inside is nice with string lighting and they always have good games on the big screens to watch. We were passing through town (not locals) and Yelp searched this restaurant. Reviews were good so we took a chance. Lovely ambience. Nice padded chairs, cloth napkins, elbow space between tables. Sports on TV. Not busy at the time (2pm). Immediately greeted and seated in a comfortable place by a very pleasant young lady. The place is very clean. Staff nicely attentive. I had the shrimp salad. It's very generous with 9 lather plump grilled shrimp- each too big for one bite. I cut mine into 2 or3 bites each. Excellent Greek dressing. I could not quite finish it. Really a lovely place. The food was much better than we (my wife, daughter and I) were expecting given the limited menu offerings and the fact that the place was relatively empty (to be fair, it was 8pm on a Monday night). The steaks that my wife and I ordered were cooked almost perfectly and the quality of the meat (really good) is what we're used to coming from Dallas, TX. My daughter ordered the friend flounder and loved it. Even the side salads were delicious. Only downsides - and they are large - was the lack of any wine (or any other alcohol) available for sale as they are apparently still waiting to obtain liquor license even after being open for 8-9 months and the lack of any dessert options.
