Camaron al Putazo - Mexican Shrimp Boil

Service was excellent. Quick and friendly. Food was good. It wasn't as flavorful as we had hoped with the exception of the Camaron al Putazo. The "Mexican shrimp boil" was full of flavor. The garlic salsa was exceptional. Shrimp were slightly overcooked. The bread was a great addition to soak up all the sauce. The combo plate was ok - I'll try something else next time. Complimentary chips and salsa were fresh and tasty. Overall it was a good experience. Restaurant seemed clean.

The food looked appealing, tasted even better, and the ambiance was wonderful. Of course meeting a friend from the past helped the ambiance. I had a salad which was filling and tasty. My significant other and friend had the entire plate of yummy. Not sure what their meals were called, but they called to me, even though my salad was very good. I would go there in a heartbeat if I'm in Seneca, SC

As with many things Mexican, this was delicious, but not exactly identifiable...;)

I was surprised. Visiting a friend we had not seen in decades, she recommended this restaurant as authentic versus Mexican-American. I had to admit she was correct! Excellent food, which I would normally describe in detail, but she also treated, so I can only post pics.

Where to begin, services was fast and not to mention miss Abby she was so delightful to have as a server she's quick, kind, and anything we needed she was ready to help. Food came out fast and was presentable, I had tacos and they did not disappoint ‍. I highly recommended this place to get a bite. -Jakeline Guerrero

Unmelted cheese

so this USE to be my favorite restaurant by far. I've never left a review for any restaurant I even made an account just to post a review. I LOVED this place however twice within id day two months I've been and both things I've been majorly disappoinTed. Not only did my food taste as if it was make the day before but it was also cold in the middle.

Visited here in February 2026. First of all, the food here…read moreis great! I had a burger, which was perfectly done and juicy and not overwhelmed by the bun. It had a bacon jam which complemented the cheese, all while not detracting from the delicious beef. My table mate had the beef short ribs; tender, rich, and a good portion size. The potato salad side was tasty enough to make me wish for a larger scoop. Our two cocktails were top-shelf quality, although the Old Fashioned's cherry was an obliterated mush. The lacking star is due to the noise level once the live music kicked in. The inside seating is already a loud echo chamber of hard surfaces, but adding the near ear-splitting band out in the tent made all conversation impossible. I saw several tent tables clear out when the music started. I like live music, and the band was good. But half the decibels would have been more than enough. I think my ears are still ringing two days later. Service was good as our waitress barely kept up with the dinner crowd surge and a new and uncooperative POS system. Hopefully that will fall in line and give the staff a break! Looking forward to future offerings from their talented chef. Will definitely visit next time I'm in the area.

Just barely seared. My husband had scallops and oh my, were they ever delicious! I would pass on the potatoes. They're super heavy with their Barada sauce. And the artichoke dip had very little to no artichoke taste and it was way too thick! So I wouldn't do those, but the positives outweigh the negatives. Their old-fashioned was excellent, and their wine menu is great! The entire experience was worthy of repeating! It's fun to find good, fun dining experiences in Seneca.

The sauces for the steak were excellent. The steak was good, and while it can be fun to cook your dinner yourself right there at your table I think I'd do something different next time. I found the Bravas potatoes sauce a little too reminiscent of a zesty ketchup style dressing, they are not for me. I had two old fashioneds. A smoked version , which was very flavorful (albeit it pricey as I opted for a higher end bourbon) and a lavender old fashioned, which had a few fruit notes. I preferred the smoked. Our server was great and helped us choose a quick dessert so we could get things moving for my daughter, we got the fondue which she very much liked.

The inside, outside, and bar are all seated on the waiting list. They sat the 2 of us at the bar and it was a fun experience. The bartender made great recommendations and was very knowledgeable about the menu. They have 8 draft beers on tap and a large cocktail menu. We started off with the crispy brussels and it was excellent. The balsamic honey reduction was a nice addition to the appetizer. We got two sandwiches (chimichurri steak press and brisket reuben) and both were very good and recommended by the bartender. I enjoyed the fries a little more than the chips for a side item. Definitely plan on coming back to this restaurant the next time I'm up in Clemson!

The bar has seating for about 12 to 15 and it is open style and very loud as evidenced by the noise baffles hanging from the ceiling. Our server was so sweet she took the time to explain that she too is a Clemson student and went into depth on the menu. I got the French dip and you can add three wings to your meal which seems like a good idea at the time. Also I swapped out the fries for a salad because I'm chunky. My wife and daughter at the burger and chicken tacos respectively, Burger was indeed tasty and the tacos were on point. Place seems to die down about 8:30 but it was the first week back from school break but you can tell this is a local favorite especially when the parents come in town! If things go well and we end up sending our daughter to Clemson we will definitely be back to evolve!

The chef shared a gift initially - a cheesy gruyere puff which was a yummy start to our adventure. Then we moved on to entrees: short ribs, home made pappardelle bolognese and salmon with lentils and pistachio cream. We devoured all with delight! They make fresh made pasta, which looked amazing. They offer several specialty cocktails for those who like fun libations. They also offer a private room for 8 if you want a more intimate party.
