I'm from Southern California 40 min east of Los Angeles so I know my Mexican Food. Picked this spot out with the family after a Clemson Baseball game . I'm pretty sure this is where all the college kids go for Mexican food . Restaurant is loud with good music and tv with sports on so it's a great place to go to watch a game along with some drinks. Their menu is big with so many things to choose from . We ordered the taco salad, steak quesadilla and chicken tortilla soup.
The items we ordered were what these kids call "MID" or average and nothing special . The taco salad had steak in it ...the steak tasted plain and might have been pre cooked and warmed up . There was nothing special about what we ate and nothing stood out. I wouldn't order those items again . It didn't taste bad, food was prepared well, just mediocre, I mean what does anybody know about real Mexican food around there anyway? If you tried to serve this in Southern California, you might get a mixed review. Customer service is great and the restaurant is well kept and nicely decorated. Great place for a drinking spot for sure. I will definitely come back to try their other dishes , I'm sure they have a few plates or items that knock it out the park.. read more
