This place SUCKS EVERY TIME. Too bad it's really the only restaurant opened on sundays in abbeville. When you say NO TOMATOES why in the hell would you put pico which is tomatoes and onions???? I just saw where Chili's supervisor called the police on it's customers. Chili's customers were outside of this restaurant talking after eating and paying for their food. The management called the police on it's customers for standing outside and having a conversation. Would you rather they stay in their seats to talk and keep a table unavailable for another paying patron? This looks like a case of racial discrimination. *2.5 stars* Stopped by one afternoon for (what I hoped to be) a quick drink or two at the bar. The lunch rush was slowing down but there were a number of people still lingering, including in the bar area. It took quite a while to even be acknowledged by a bartender. So much so, I was wondering if I should even stay or not. Eventually he came around and took my order of a Coors and a Grandmarnier. I got a funny look for it... I can only speculate why. Although (I think) it was a pretty simple order, it still took a while to receive. I could see what the pattern was going to be like during why visit, so as soon as I was done with the first Gma, I ordered another one. When it arrived I immediately asked for my check. It still took forever to receive. My advice: don't be in a rush when dining/drinking here. read more

After waiting 10 minutes at the hostess station for someone to acknowledge that my wife and I were there. (there was a gentleman already waiting before we walked in) 3 different employees asked if we needed help and when we said yes they scrambled around the room without offering to help. Finally someone came again and asked if we needed help, when we said yes they said that there was a "hold" on in the kitchen and she had to ask the kitchen if they were ready. We told the lady we've waited 10 minutes without anyone speaking to us so we weren't going to wait any longer. read more

It's a chain restaurant, So I'll only review my experiences at this location. The food is good, it's gotten A LOT BETTER than what it used to be. I feel like it tastes fresher and the food comes out at a good amount of time. i used to have to wait forever for my appetizers, entree's and desserts. I do like to come here if I'm bringing out my Godchild bc he does love their burgers and chips. This is a good location to come to bc of the friendly staff and the wait for food isn't so long anymore. my TO GO experience. They were GREAT. I ordered food for my son's birthday party (ribs,salad, appetizer) and my family of somewhat picky eaters were all happy. I'll most def order catering again for last minute parties. I ordered 6 hours ahead of time and had no problems with pick up. read more

Every time we've ordered via the Chilis app and went get food it was late, even if we were 30-45 min late picking the food up at the specified time. Calling ahead orders doesn't help either. Orders are often wrong even after waiting for over an hour. Even during weekdays when the restaurant is empty, however the kitchen and staff are full to the brim arguing with one another in full sight of their customers. I do have to say, the poor girl behind the counter was doing her absolute hardest to help, but she was completely overwhelmed and bombarded with calls and customers. read more

We went Sunday night with a small group and we didn't leave for almost 2 and a half hours!!! Our food was cold and we couldn't get refills to save our lives! First of all... I love Chili's! But this one a disgrace to the chain. I should have listened to the MANY locals who told me NOT to go here, but I didn't. Lesson learned. I even went back to see if my first visit was maybe just a fluke. Nope. We went on a weekday and the restaurant was less than 25% full. The hostess... term used loosely, told us there would be a 16 minute wait. My reply was " But there are dozens of empty tables!" She replied "Yeah but there's only one waitress" What??? If I ran this dump my"hostess" would have become a waitress immediately, or unemployed! Obviously the manager is a large part of the problem. Never again. I will call Chili's Corporate office. Maybe they can finally change things here for the good. read more

Our food came out wrong the last 4 times we have been to this Chili's. Tonight topped it. My husband orders the same thing every time. He ordered the beef fajitas, and it's always wrong. Tonight, IT CAME OUT WITH NO MEAT!? not the wrong meat, NO DANG MEAT! Then tonight we were hardly even waited on. We had to ask someone else for our check. So we paid $45 for crappy service and a crappy meal. And we go there often. At least 3-4 times a month. No more. We are done with this location! read more

My wife and I went to Chili's around 7:30 on the 7/14/18 and walked in to the restaurant. We waited at the door for almost 5 minutes before someone came to have a seated. They weren't a lot of people there and we finally had a person show up to place us at a table. She told us to sit anywhere we like so we chose a booth. We sat there for at least fifteen to twenty minutes and no one came to bring us a menu or ask us if we wanted a drink!!!! We looked around and no waiter was around! Finally a waiter showed up at another table and ask if they needed anything else but never came to our table!! We have been going to this restaurant ever since they opened but this is the last time we will ever go back!!! If I could give 0 stars I would!!!!!! read more

This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to! Every time I have been there, it has taken over 10 minutes for a waiter to say hello. The food has always come out warm instead of hot. The staff is nice but I don't understand what is wrong in the management. I have eaten at chilis restaurant my entire life and its only been this particular restaurant in abbeville that is poorly managed. Corporate needs to get involved. The entrance stinks... the restaurant stinks. They need to tear it down and start afresh. With new building and new management!!! The managers are NOT doing their job. Do not eat there. My son and i had a lunch date and decided to go to chili's. I tell you i was impressed at how friendly and prompt and helpful the staff there was. What really sealed the deal for me was the first bite of food that i took. It was the most yummiest food that i had tasted in a restaurant in a long long time. I could have sworn my grandma was in the kitchen cooking. The portions of food were gigantic for the price.I have a family of 7 and let me tell you i go to chili's and eat even on a short check week and feed us all. Do not eat at this restaurant! I have never had a good experience. The last time I went I complained to the management and I was told that new management had just been brought in and employees were being retrained. So today I decided to roll the dice and give them another chance. Boy, did I make a mistake. Today was the worst experience out of all of them. The previous night they had a power outage and their computers had been affected. We were the first group to walk through the door and we were told this. No problem, I understand completely if there are a few issues. What I don't understand is how over an hour later we still don't have our food and several tables that arrived at least a half hour after us had not only gotten their food, but we're now eating dessert. Several times we were given excuses by the waitress and manager as to why our food had still not arrived. Some how, 15 to 20 minutes after the excuses, we were still without food. We ended up leaving without ever getting food and only a half hearted apology from the waitress. The manager could not have been less concerned. I only wish I could put negative stars! read more

Called ahead after my daughters graduation for 15 people. Got there and it really was not that busy at all. Took an half hour far a waitress to come take our drink orders. Another half hour far our food order then anther hour to get out food. Mine was incorrect with 3 items missing from my order. My 77 year old mother was the last to get her food when we were almost done eating. The manager which was from Houma and just helping out did what he could but it left me a very bad experience. I've been a Chef for 30 years and know those nights when what can go wrong will go wrong but it's hard to ignore when it's happening to you. Manager took some off of the bill but I had the highest check and only took off 10$. Not looking far a free meal but come on. The food took so long that my graduating daughter had to box hers up because she had to go to a senior project lock down for graduating class. read more
