The brisket was very salty, so much so that it ruined the meal. The turkey was cold cut quality; im used to fresh off the bone turkey breast. I can get a better sandwich at a sandwich shop unfortunately, and at a more modest price. The latkes were overly fried, to the extent that they were hard to cut, although they were tasty. On a positive note, the service was exceptional. There must be a great kosher deli on Long Island. Where is it?

The bagels are phenomenal, but don't sleep on their lunch menu--the Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap is unbelievable. It comes with a side salad, and their cucumber salad is always fresh and delicious. The staff is consistently friendly, welcoming, and fast. I used to stop in years ago as a rep for Montauk Iced Tea, and while they don't carry that brand anymore, my love for this place hasn't changed a bit. Here we go, So the hype was big about this Deli…read more I even passed by a couple of times while in the area and the line would be out the door. My BFF and I decided to check it out. We went after lunch crowd was over. It was about a few people sitting down in the dining area eating. Deli was very organized and clean. Customer service was OK. As we approached the counter of ordering I viewed the pastries which looked scrumptious. I decided to order the Apple Danish . My BFF ordered the chocolate muffin. Then we veiwed the sandwiches. I wasn't 100 percent sold on the sandwiches so I asked for my sandwich to be made fresh. However it wasnt . It was reheated. There is a big difference in taste from reheated to making it fresh. I just dealt with it. You would think after paying 46 dollars I would be satisfied, but to be honest with you I wasnt. After eating half of the sandwich I threw the other half away. Im thinking to myself ok maybe the Apple Danish would make up for it. No.. The Danish was very dry inside. Didn't really have any kind of kick to it. To be honest I was totally disappointed. Overall it was not the greatest but it wasnt the worst either. Im undecided if I would visit again. Happy Yelping.

Those Crispy fries, beef gravy, and nuggets of cheese made me feel like a king. It's everything your alcohol-laden stomach could need! My buddies got the Woodhull Tavern burger to feast on. From start to finish, Dom made the entire process stress-free. He helped me figure out the perfect menu, the right quantities, and even recommended appetizers that ended up being a huge hit. On the day of the party, Dom went above and beyond by arranging two separate deliveries--one for appetizers and another for the main dishes a few hours later--so we didn't have to worry about keeping the food warm. That level of service alone deserves five stars! And the food? OUTSTANDING. From the garlic knot meatball parm sliders (which disappeared in minutes!) to the creamy penne alla vodka, everything exceeded my expectations. My guests, who came from all over the country to celebrate my parents' 50th anniversary, could not stop raving about the food. Dom was easy to talk to, flexible, and truly cared about making our event perfect. I can't recommend Pizzaiolo and Dom enough. If you're planning a party (or just looking for some good food), this is the place to call--you won't be disappointed!

I used to love Batata and still kind of do love their food but I will never come back…read more On 5/26, I ordered the Zen burger after coming back from the hospital and giving birth to my son a few days earlier. Looking for a burger, I picked the Zen burger which was not listed as having walnuts. I even called the restaurant to confirm this burger was nut free. When I bit into this burger, within 30 seconds, I realized something was wrong when my lips started swelling up and my throat started to close in. My husband called the restaurant back and again asked if the zen burger had walnuts. I was assured that it did not. When I said, please go ask the kitchen, the person on the phone did and confirmed, "oh, it does have a little bit of walnuts in it". I don't think that the people working here understood the severity of this and they offered a refund of the meal that we threw away. Wow, how generous! I spoke to the manager and she just said sorry and that the owner would contact us. We wound up having to go to the hospital over this, after just leaving with our newborn. What a day. It's been a week and my husband has stopped by the talk to the owner but she hasn't been there and has not called, emailed, or done anything since. I don't care if she is busy, it honestly doesn't matter, this is important and I needed some reassurance that this would never happen again to anyone since someone else could have died from this but that never happened. I guess she is just too busy to care. Unfortunately, this is a local business that I used to love but I will never come back and would advise anyone with a food allergy to go somewhere else. The next day they did update the menu and the zen burger now does say "contains walnuts" but it's not reassuring that this will never happen again.

I ordered the veggie burger and my partner ordered the Brie and ham sandwich with a side of broccoli cheddar soup. The veggie burger was perfect in terms of mix of veggies, flavor and freshness and both sandwiches came with a small side of tortilla chips and fresh salsa. We also ordered a side of French fries which were also fresh. Our least favorite thing was the broccoli cheddar soup, which was a little more watery than we would have liked. Others in our party ordered a cheeseburger and an "ah love" chicken sandwich and they liked their food. I ordered a fresh lemonade and it was homemade and tasted great. The food here is very fresh and reasonably priced and very enjoyable overall. We would definitely come back the next time we are here! Warning the parking lot is on the smaller side and there are only about 4-5 tables inside and 2-3 tables on the small outdoor patio.
