WOW this place was SO GOOD! I saw them on Instagram and had saved a post of their breakfast dish to try, but when I arrived everything looked so amazing I ended up getting a philly with bacon (I forgot the name on the menu but WORTH IT!) got regular fries and their special comes with a soda or water. This was not what I expected!! Figure a guy does well as a food truck and opens storefront then it must be awesome - it was not. I have been eating Philly cheesesteaks for years. The meat was tasty but the onions and peppers were chunks and not cooked thru (and there were some very unwanted mushrooms in the mix). The bread wasn't toasted so it got super super soggy. I asked for it to go and asked that they wrap it in tin foil - well this foil had paper on the inside and it melted all over my sandwich - took me 10 minutes to remove the paper before I could eat it. Me and a friend came here, and got the cheesesteak with onions, bacon and cheese, with fries and a free drink. The fries were very good, tasted fresh and not too salty. The cheesesteak was very good as well, but it was a little dry. Next time I come, I would put some barbecue or steak sauce on it as well. The place itself looks very clean and by what I could tell, so does the kitchen. Let's dive into the most important part. I've tried various cheesesteaks and this one is on the lower end of my list. When you order a Philly cheesesteak the expectation is to wait. I ordered my food and by the time I sat down I got called for my order. Not even McDonald's is this fast! I ordered a Squealing' Philly and it was lacking taste. The ribeye was very dry. I did get a hefty amount of bacon, that was more like jerky, this only enhanced the dryness if the taste. Not sure if the meat had been sitting in the grill for too long. The regular fries are a bit overpriced and had a bit too much salt. Don't think I'll be giving this place a second chance. read more

Not exactly what I was expecting. For the size of the sandwich it's not worth it and quality was not there for me. When we got our order and went home to find that it was not the right sandwich. I called the number at the top of the receipt and turned out to be the owner's cellphone number. He was surprised on how I got it..... it's at the top of the receipt... then I finally get in contact with the store... kinda had a bit of attitude from the guy, thank you for replacing my food and giving us empanadas but it was really not called for with the attitude... my advice to anyone who orders is check the food before you leave, and to the owner do not have your cellphone number at the top of the receipt if you do not want customers having that information. read more

I have been visiting their Farmingdale location for a while, but decided to go to Commack since it is closer to my house. As always the food was DELICIOUS. I got the Chiddy's Signature, which was loaded with Shaved Steak, Mozz Cheese, Peppers, Onions, Mushrooms and Cheese Whiz. The flavors were amazing, the bread was delicious and it was SO filling. I also HAD to get the Nacho Fries, which are French Fries topped with Shaved Steak, Jalapeños, Cheese Whiz and Chipotle Aioli. The staff is also very helpful and friendly. So disappointed. I ordered last night just a philly cheese steak with onion and wiz to go. When I opened the box the sandwich was all over the box. Great! So happy to have it in the neighborhood. My husband and I usually build our own cheesesteaks but we have also ordered the chiddy's signature and chicks on a ranch. All of the sandwiches have been fantastic with a great meat to cheese to bread ratio. The fry portions are on the larger side (unless you order through seamless for some reason...) and they are delicious. The fries are perfectly cooked and the topping options are fun. I wasn't crazy about the caramel apple empanada but I applaud the creative empanada ideas. read more

If you are looking for an authentic Philly cheesesteak this is absolutely NOT the place... there was literally no "wiz" on either of my sandwiches and barely had a slice of melted cheese on part of the bun... one slice of crumpled bacon on the end and then some meat and onions. Both my sandwiches were terrible and the fries barely had some bacon with actual wiz (finally) only put sporadically on the top of some fries. Totally disappointed! read more

3/24/22- GAD First time to the Commack store. Called order in at 5:25 pm. Upon arrival i saw a bag with my name on it and was told the order was not ready. Waited 60 minutes 5 ft from counter and bag was never touched. I asked to cancel the order and the girl grabbed the bag and said it was ready . Didn't want cold food and said so, but she said it just came out. That was a red flag but i took it home. Arrived home to find cold soggy sandwiches with meat that had dry edges. Unloaded the bag and there were no French fries which were ordered and paid for. Will never go back. 3 people behind counter and no one had an assigned task so it was just chaos. During the time i was there they must have taken 50 telephone orders and in all that time nothing was being taken off the line and bagged. what a S...show. We had Chiddy's cater our daughters birthday party last weekend. We got a tray of cheesesteak sliders; half with onions. We also ordered a half tray of buffalo chicken empanadas and a second tray of chicken pot pie empanadas. Everything was delicious. It was ready for pick up and fresh when we got there. We watched them finish cooking and pack up the last of it, so we know it wasn't prepared the night before. Everyone there was excited about how good it was.
