I am giving three stars because the last visit wasn't as good as I had remembered from my previous visit. Three stars because it wasn't terrible but definitely room for improvement.

They currently have three different rooms for dining, as well as an outside deck under construction. The menu has about eight different omelets, eight breakfast combos, wraps, sandwiches, pancakes and waffles. I opted for the veggie cheese omelet with hash browns and rye toast. My sister had a sausage and cheese omelet with potatoes. Both items were delicious and plentiful. Service was great from Patrice.

Just be forewarned: Nashville is not effing around when they say hot!…read more In Pittsburgh, people think Arby's Horsey Sauce is hot. They think mild salsa is hot. They think ice cold water is hot. So be advised. At CHIKN, hot means HOT, and Damn Hot is more of an Olympic Event than a meal. The only people more insane for heat than Nashville are the Thai. So like the Damn Hot from CHIKN is like Thai spice level 8 out of 10.

Timing is Everything!!!…read more I just happened to stop in at the Chop Shop in Downtown Butler, PA, during a recent Heatwave. As my luck would have it, I quickly discovered that this restaurant does not have air conditioning. I'm not sure if it was just offline or if it is permanent; however, be warned!! The restaurant had children and elderly people seated, so I couldn't wimp out and go somewhere else. The Chop SHop is a downtown Butler must-try, and it is three concepts rolled into one. The Chop Shop is a vintage-style eatery serving sandwiches, milkshakes, burgers, vegetarian fare and grilled meats. I ordered their specialty milkshake, which is a loaded milkshake that comes with everything thrown into one Milkshake. Although it was a perfect drink for a heatwave, my milkshake quickly melted due to the heat in the restaurant. For the main course, I ordered the Mixed Grill, which had grilled elk tenderloin, smoked quail, caramelized bacon brussels sprouts, dauphinoise potatoes and a blackberry brandy demi-glaze. The food was awesome, and those potatoes were crazy-good. The Elk was cooked to medium as I ordered, and the quail was tender and juicy. Overall, a good but hot dining experience. The Chop Shop has great food, great service, and one day may serve alcohol in the restaurant, but for now, their food and drinks can be enjoyed without it.

This was my second time coming to this location, and unfortunately, both experiences were…read moredisappointing. The first time, I ordered the Hot chicken, which I've had before and know is supposed to be very spicy. When I got my order, there was absolutely no spice. I even had my daughter try it, and she can't handle spicy food, but she agreed there was no spice at all. I didn't say anything at the time because I had already started eating it. The second time I came in, I actually made a little joke to my daughter about them getting my order wrong again, and unfortunately, they did. Once again, I ordered Hot and the chicken had no spice whatsoever. I went up to the register and politely told the girl working there, who had a tan complexion and short curly hair, that I had ordered spicy and this wasn't spicy at all. I wasn't rude or upset with her. She took my tray and the only thing she asked was, "What flavor was it?" I told her Hot. Less than two minutes later, she came back with two smaller wraps. I used to work in the food industry, so there's no way a new batch of chicken was cooked and the order was completely remade that quickly. She didn't say anything when she brought the tray back, and when I said thank you, she didn't respond. Her attitude and overall vibe came across like she was annoyed that I had said something. I opened the wrap and noticed they had added more Caesar dressing, which I didn't ask for. When I tried the chicken, it was the exact same issue as before--no spice at all. I normally don't leave negative reviews, and I've worked in customer service for over 20 years, so I understand that mistakes happen. What bothered me was how the situation was handled. I was polite about the mistake, but there was no apology, no real attempt to fix the issue, and the attitude I received made the experience even worse. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this location based on my experience. The food may be good, but the customer service I received was extremely disappointing.
