Wesley Chapel loves chicken as we have another chicken spot in town. Since this is the new kid on the block, I've seen lines outside the door and wrapped around the drive thru. Decided to come early one day for lunch and it was def a good call as it wasn't too busy. I ordered the pepperoni chicken Parmesan sandwich which was double chicken, mozzarella cheese and pepperoni...Whoa! Wasn't expecting to be as good as it was. Party in my mouth. Don't see that often on a fast food menu so had to give it a try and was impressed but does say it's for a limited time. Hope they bring this on menu eventually. Will be back to check out other items on the menu. But i feel this will definitely be a hot spot here in Wesley Chapel. read more

So I finally got a chance to reached this establishment to see where it stands amongst the fast food industry. After the hype calm down a bit. We did 3 orders of the 5 piece chicken strips. Didn't want to commit to any chicken sandwiches just in case it wasn't appealing. You get 1 side and 2 sauces (I understand why 2 sauces). The good part about the meals were the portion and sizes of the chicken strips. Definitely not the average size chicken strip more like a super size strip. Now the truth! No seasoning, no taste nothing that you can compare to. I belive the sauces is to improvise the lack of taste. We mixed it up to try different options but they all were heavy on the mayo mixed in with a bit of whatever. The only one that didn't have heavy mayo was the sweet and sour (taste like duck sauce). But we have to remind ourselves this is a commercial fast food establishment. Which my motto has been "once a chain don't expect it to taste better than your homecooked meal." The positive view is this place created jobs for people but that is as good as it gets. I don't think it will live out the test of time but it is here now. We won't be visiting ever again the hype has been outlived and will give it 2 years before we say goodbye to this joint. read more

Wow! We really liked Chicken Guy's tenders! We weren't super hungry so we shared a 5-piece tender meal with Mac and cheese. They are more flat filets, but still juicy and the breading is SO CRISPY it's fabulous. We got the hot and the heat level was perfect. Not so hot that you're dying to drink water. We waited for the hype to die down before we visited, so drive through was clear when we showed up. Ordered our food from one of the employees who was really helpful and gave recommendations for meal options and sauces. Service was pretty quick. The Mac and cheese was REALLY good. The noddles still had a bite to them. We liked it so much, we wanted to come back the next day lol. read more

Incredible experience at the new chicken place in WC (the unofficial chicken capital of the world)!Their chicken tenders are akin to chicken schnitzel! Incredibly flavorful breading and flat/pounded chicken. My husband enjoyed the OG sandwich. The best sauce for chicken was the special sauce. The best sauce for fries was the donkey sauce. The service was incredible, as well. They were attentive in clearing off tables and garbage. They were also very friendly! They even gave us a free mini of their milkshake! Guy Fieri's fast food restaurant opened a couple mths ago in Wesley Chapel joining several other chicken spots. I decided to wait until the hype died down to drive thru and sample the food. I didn't get out of my car and stuck to the drive thru. When I told the attendant this is my first time he ran to get me a menu (i wasn't yet at the order window) and he was patient answering my questions. Kudos to them for being professional and knowledgeable when I asked what makes their tenders and fries standout from chick fil a or Zaxby's (both of which is across the street). Answer: the chicken breast coated with their special seasonings. ditto for the fries. i pd xtra to switch out the drink for a shake. Plus: ease of ordering; crunchy and juicy chicken tenders; crispy seasoned fries (similar to popeyes). Interesting tidbit: instead of automatically charging once you give your card, they mention and expect a tip in the drive thru. I am hoping this establishment pay their staff enough that they are not relying on tips to compensate their wages. there is no other fast food drive thru where tips are suggested or an option. Suggestion: Please stop this practice it's abhorrent for a drive thru. Also, using the strawberry fruit vs a syrup will enhance the taste of the shake. read more

Oh my god man!! The server I had was legit a top 5 server I've ever had!! She was so nice and we were talking about college and stuff, great person!! And that chicken, it was to die for. What's decided to try this place as they had great marketing and their menu looked to have unique options. I went on the weekend and they are newer, but I will say the inside of the place. The tables are stacked between them where people moving by would knock our food which was a little uncomfortable and worked against the idea of sanitary. Unfortunately, we ordered three meals, and two out of three were made in correctly and I had to actually get back up to have them corrected as I had a young baby who couldn't have salt for seasoning on her stuff. We also ordered one of the burgers grilled but just couldn't get grilled and didn't wanna wait in line to have it fixed. Although they have unique options, I would say they rely on the toppings of things to flavor the food where I would've liked to see more flavoring in the actual chicken. There's a lot of chicken spots opening up around Tampa Bay area and I wanted to give this place a try based off the reviews. I had the chicken tenders, which had a good flavor to it, but it wasn't my style chicken tenders I like. They were thin and I like more of a thicker chicken tender. My sister had the sandwich that is #1 on the menu And she said it was really good. So I think the chicken tender would taste better on a sandwich because it looked like the same kind of tender used. The eggroll was pretty good too. I do wish it was fried a little bit more so I can have a nice crunch to it but overall, I would order this again if I was to come back. The mac & cheese was not the best. I the cheese was only in the middle and not the sides of the noodles so it was a little dry for my taste. I do love the sauces they offer. If they were to sell the sauce in bottles I would definitely get the garlic Parmesan and chipotle. The service was really good. They had a DJ outside which was nice especially since it was a good day to sit outside and listen to the music . We went around 6 PM on a Saturday. Wow, I like this place. First its very clean, spotless, fun atmosphere, lots of music and decor. For a fried chicken place it has a great fresh smell inside. No burnt oil smell at all. So great a/c and ventalation system. We went on a saturday morning at 11am and was quiet at that time. My wife is in a Power wheelchair and the staff was very accomodating by bringing ordered food to the table. She ordered the breakfast chicken bowl and guacamole crema. I ordered the chopped fried chicken salad with the Italian dressing and ordered the donkey sauce as a extra sauce. I also ordered the chicken and cheese eggrolls . both were huge portions and delicious. The fried chicken is brined in pickle juice and was moist and tasty. The breakfast bowl was a smaller portion than my chopped fried chicken salad. ​We will be back to try other items on the menu soon. Got to try Guy Fieri's famous chicken restaurant, Chicken Guy, and boy did we go to flavortown! This location is brand-new and it was packed when we got there, but it was truly worth the wait and we understand the hype! Everything came out full of flavor, fresh, and nice and hot. It was huge and all of the toppings worked really well together. ~Mac n cheese chicken sandwich- Mac and cheese, smoked bacon, and garlic parmesan sauce. It usually comes with buffalo sauce too, but I skipped that. This was the epitome of cheat meal yummyness! ~Fried chicken dumplings- hand-breaded dumplings filled with seasoned chicken, topped with smoked bacon, green onions, sesame seeds, drizzled with donkey sauce, hot honey, and spicy teriyaki ~5 tenders with fries - These were the best tenders I've ever had. They were HUGE and so meaty. The outside was nice and crispy and they were seasoned beautifully. I loved dipping them in the different housemade sauces. Staff was nice, gave some suggestions but everyone looked a little lost (still new so expected). On to the main attraction. I got the OG sandwich and 3 tenders with different sauces to try. The sandwich was decent, very good size portion and had good flavor. It is two tenders with pickle and special sauce on a bun but would get again. Fries were well seasoned but a little soggy. The tenders were fresh and very crispy. They are a little too thin for me, but not overcooked. OG sauce was what you expect and what I thought would stand out. Was pleasantly surprised to try the Donkey and Nashville Hot and like them as much as I did. WOW!!! I passed through the drive thru on my way home from Tampa, and boy was I impressed with the succulent flavor of the chicken tenders and the fries. The seasoning was amazing!!! I purchased two 5 pc chicken tender combos, and my niece and I could only finish off one order of chicken and fries. I took the rest home for my husband and son, and they were smitten. If you're going to try this, do it just don't go to The Chicken Guy restaurants inside of Walmart, or you'll be disappointed. The tenders are totally different. They're insipid, the breading is different, and they're smaller. I still gave this location a 5 star review because it earned it. Bring more full service restaurants to the Miami area. Finally getting a chance to try this place, the lines have been so long since it opened I thought I'd wait a bit Got the three chicken strips combo; first off the chicken strips are huge. I personally don't like thick cuts of meat so I appreciate they probably used a meat tenderizer mallet to thin them out a bit. The chicken strips were well seasoned. I chose spicy and wasn't prepared for how spicy they were...still very good though. Just make sure you have water on deck. The fries were good and well seasoned also.
