Now that the Grand Opening rush is over for Chicken Guy I took my family to try it. Positive - Facility is clean and nice - Staff was very friendly - Had a variety of Sauces Negatives - No hand-held menus to read easily - All sodas did not have carbonation - Tenders could be seasoned more to match fries - Lack of traditional yellow mustard - While sodas are all out only leaving Tea and juices, they leave empty tea containers on the shelf with no plan to refill, making customer refills difficult. All of our food was okay. Nothing was amazing. I do believe this chain is overhyped and not really all that unique. read more

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner! We are always excited to try new places. Chicken guy didn't disappoint. The portions are large and the food is yummy and seasoned perfectly. The bbq sauce was my least favorite but the honey mustard and ranch were great. The staff was friendly and there was even a chicken handing out eggs on Easter. They have indoor and outdoor seating as well as a drive thru. I would definitely visit again. read more

We tried it for the first time and it was very good . My only complaint was the fountains soda station wasn't working. The food it self was very good I think my favorite was the dumplings. The eggrolls were good but the dumplings were the hit of the meal . My buffalo Mac and cheese sandwich was okay but I didn't feel the heat from the buffalo sauce . The food was very tasty and hot . The staff were nice and helpful going over the menu . The place was very nice and clean . We be back and definitely for the dumplings and to try the milkshake they looked yummy . read more

I had chicken guy's pepperoni chicken Parm sandwich for lunch today. It was super satisfied. Two pieces of crunchy fried chicken in between fresh soft bun with pepperoni, garlic and tomato sauce and melted Parmesan cheese. It tasted exactly like I would have chicken Parmesan in Italian restaurant. It tasted so fresh and neatly folded in paper so I handhold and finish the whole sandwich without messing my fingers. The size was so big. Definitely bigger than any other place's fry chicken sandwich. I also had a chocolate shake. It was OK. The French fries was good. Drink station has all sort of soda, the sweet tea wasn't so sweet. The sitting area has fun vibe. The service was attentive. Next time, if I'm craving for chicken Parmesan, I would just come here and spend less than $10 and have a happy stomach. read more

Amazing! This is our second time here, it's one of my father's favorite places to visit, and their customer service skills and kindness pristine! Thank you Sarah, Gladys, & Manuel for making it such a memorable experience, also the food is amazing, the shakes, the dumplings! Fantastic! read more

We picked up a 3 piece chicken tender meal from the drive through. The chicken temperature was nice and hot but the chicken was dry. The fries were not that hot and on the soggy side. I liked the seasoning on them. There is a lot of chicken competition in this area (PDQ, Canes, Chil Fil e) all within a mile or so. This would be my last choice for chicken. Maybe second choice for fries if they were fresh. I may give them another shot but I'm not rushing back. read more

I was in town visiting my sister and she said that I had to try Chicken Guy so I did! I tried the bourbon brown sugar bbq sandwich with fries. We also tried the chopped cheese chicken egg-roll, and a fountain drink. My sister tried the limited time offer money honey bacon bbq sandwich with fries and a drink. The chicken sandwich was delicious with two healthy pieces of chicken that was well seasoned, crispy, and delicious, the coleslaw with the bbq sauce gave it a nice balance of savory and sweet. I give it a 10/10! The fries were just ok. My sister enjoyed her sandwich as well. The egg roll was just ok, too much cheese and only small bits of chicken. The service was phenomenal, the individual who took our orders was polite, and friendly, and my sister wanted to try one of each sauce and they gave it to us on the house. Also while we were waiting for our food a sweet lady that works there gave out sample shakes with the option to choose from strawberry, chocolate, or cookies and cream. My sister and I both chose cookies and cream! The shakes were a 10/10! The ambiance is casual dining, great for family, catching up with friends, and loved ones. When I am in town I would definitely go again! read more

Tried Chicken Guy for the first time today, and it did not disappoint! The place was clean, quick, and had great service. I went with the OG sandwich (minus the pickles) the bread was so soft, and the chicken tenders were perfectly crispy with amazing flavor. Their special sauce was the perfect sweet and savory combo, though I wish I had added lettuce and tomato for an extra fresh bite. The fries were next level and fried to perfection with a unique sweet and salty seasoning that I can't even describe but absolutely loved. Plus, they have a plethora of different sauces, so there's something for everyone. One small detail I really appreciated was the tiny ice cubes, it's the little things! To top it off, the manager, Mo, went above and beyond by bringing us a nearly full Oreo milkshake, which was delicious and not too sweet. Loved everything about this place and will definitely be back! read more

Chicken Guy vs Canes Taste test Sent the teenagers to pick up a 4 pack from each place. And their special sauce Presentation: chicken guy has nice packaging - there was also a chicken on a skewer with some coleslaw? Not sure why, but? Volume: chicken guy has a bit flatter chicken, perhaps they pound it out? Some of the comparative juiciness is lost Taste: way way more flavor. They must toss it in a spice mix that is reminiscent of wing stop fries. In fact, if you were to get Chicken Guy strips, toss them with wing stop fries, you would be very happy Sauce: not my thing, totally gross and super mayonnaise- based. My taste test friends enjoyed this sauce over the more ketchup flavor of Canes read more

This place was a terrible experience at a terrible establishment. I ordered off of the DoorDash website. Only to have gone home with only half the food. I mean, ALL of the sandwiches were missing. The fact that we had to come back and get it is crazy. AND the audacity to say they try to call us, but there was never any call. Excuses without owning up to your own mistake is not a great look. Plus, I saw some behavior from the workers that I'm sure is not food safe. I saw some of the girls at the front counter take a fry from a tray and eat it (disgusting no?). So it's highly likely that I'll ever come back. read more

A Must-Try Spot for Chicken Lovers! When it comes to great food, service matters just as much as flavor--and this place delivers on both! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and given a quick rundown of their sauces and menu options. My order was ready in what felt like 3-5 minutes, and the best part? The chicken was packed with flavor! I ordered the 3-piece tenders with fries, and everything arrived hot, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. Honestly, I didn't even need a dipping sauce--always a sign of a well-executed tender! But if you love a good sauce, my top pick is the Bourbon BBQ--sweet, smoky, and downright delicious. I also tried the Nashville Hot Honey, but fair warning--it's more honey than heat! My son went all in with 10 tenders and a milkshake, and let me tell you--that shake was next-level good. Creamy, rich, and just the right amount of sweetness. I'm already planning my next visit within the week to try the chicken sandwich, egg rolls, & I think I saw dumplings as well! If you're a fan of crispy, well-seasoned chicken with a great crunch this place is a must try. The service is quick, the employees are friendly, the restaurant is clean! This spot is a must-visit. 5 stars all the way! read more

So I finally got a chance to reached this establishment to see where it stands amongst the fast food industry. After the hype calm down a bit. We did 3 orders of the 5 piece chicken strips. Didn't want to commit to any chicken sandwiches just in case it wasn't appealing. You get 1 side and 2 sauces (I understand why 2 sauces). The good part about the meals were the portion and sizes of the chicken strips. Definitely not the average size chicken strip more like a super size strip. Now the truth! No seasoning, no taste nothing that you can compare to. I belive the sauces is to improvise the lack of taste. We mixed it up to try different options but they all were heavy on the mayo mixed in with a bit of whatever. The only one that didn't have heavy mayo was the sweet and sour (taste like duck sauce). But we have to remind ourselves this is a commercial fast food establishment. Which my motto has been "once a chain don't expect it to taste better than your homecooked meal." The positive view is this place created jobs for people but that is as good as it gets. I don't think it will live out the test of time but it is here now. We won't be visiting ever again the hype has been outlived and will give it 2 years before we say goodbye to this joint. read more

Wesley Chapel loves chicken as we have another chicken spot in town. Since this is the new kid on the block, I've seen lines outside the door and wrapped around the drive thru. Decided to come early one day for lunch and it was def a good call as it wasn't too busy. I ordered the pepperoni chicken Parmesan sandwich which was double chicken, mozzarella cheese and pepperoni...Whoa! Wasn't expecting to be as good as it was. Party in my mouth. Don't see that often on a fast food menu so had to give it a try and was impressed but does say it's for a limited time. Hope they bring this on menu eventually. Will be back to check out other items on the menu. But i feel this will definitely be a hot spot here in Wesley Chapel. read more

Great place for Chicken Tenders. Very clean and friendly staff ! We tried the 5 piece tenders with honey mustard. They were great !

I've been here 3 times now. It's very mediocre chicken I would say. Very overpriced. Sauces are pretty good however they charge you for individual sauces and most orders only come with 2 included sauces. read more

Wow! We really liked Chicken Guy's tenders! We weren't super hungry so we shared a 5-piece tender meal with Mac and cheese. They are more flat filets, but still juicy and the breading is SO CRISPY it's fabulous. We got the hot and the heat level was perfect. Not so hot that you're dying to drink water. We waited for the hype to die down before we visited, so drive through was clear when we showed up. Ordered our food from one of the employees who was really helpful and gave recommendations for meal options and sauces. Service was pretty quick. The Mac and cheese was REALLY good. The noddles still had a bite to them. We liked it so much, we wanted to come back the next day lol. read more

Incredible experience at the new chicken place in WC (the unofficial chicken capital of the world)!Their chicken tenders are akin to chicken schnitzel! Incredibly flavorful breading and flat/pounded chicken. My husband enjoyed the OG sandwich. The best sauce for chicken was the special sauce. The best sauce for fries was the donkey sauce. The service was incredible, as well. They were attentive in clearing off tables and garbage. They were also very friendly! They even gave us a free mini of their milkshake! Overall 10/10 would recommend! read more

Guy Fieri's fast food restaurant opened a couple mths ago in Wesley Chapel joining several other chicken spots. I decided to wait until the hype died down to drive thru and sample the food. I didn't get out of my car and stuck to the drive thru. When I told the attendant this is my first time he ran to get me a menu (i wasn't yet at the order window) and he was patient answering my questions. Kudos to them for being professional and knowledgeable when I asked what makes their tenders and fries standout from chick fil a or Zaxby's (both of which is across the street). Answer: the chicken breast coated with their special seasonings. ditto for the fries. i pd xtra to switch out the drink for a shake. Plus: ease of ordering; crunchy and juicy chicken tenders; crispy seasoned fries (similar to popeyes). Interesting tidbit: instead of automatically charging once you give your card, they mention and expect a tip in the drive thru. I am hoping this establishment pay their staff enough that they are not relying on tips to compensate their wages. there is no other fast food drive thru where tips are suggested or an option. Suggestion: Please stop this practice it's abhorrent for a drive thru. Also, using the strawberry fruit vs a syrup will enhance the taste of the shake. read more

The chicken was over cooked & dry. The French Fries were under cooked & cold. The cashier, although very nice, spoke broken English with a heavy accent and made it hard to communicate with. Way over priced! read more

First time trying this place, chicken was really tasty and juicy! Service was friendly and prompt. Fries were crisp, seasoned well but not too salty. Will definitely come back again, shakes looked delish read more

Nothing to crow about here. Tenders were small and dry. Fries were just ok. The sauces were good, but I felt like I was eating sauce instead of chicken. On the bright side, the service was very friendly and helpful and the store was clean. The Guy Fieri "Flavor Town" decor was a bit over the top and, as it turns out, a false promise. Won't be back unless desperate. Overpriced. read more

We ordered a chicken Caesar salad, Guy's chopped salad and the #1chicken sandwich and fries. The food was so delicious! The chicken was fresh tasting and the salads were huge and full of fresh toppings! Plus we enjoyed a free shake that was new on the menu. Customer service was top-notch! Manager was out on the floor and asking people how their food was and if they needed anything else. We will be back! read more

What's decided to try this place as they had great marketing and their menu looked to have unique options. I went on the weekend and they are newer, but I will say the inside of the place. The tables are stacked between them where people moving by would knock our food which was a little uncomfortable and worked against the idea of sanitary. Unfortunately, we ordered three meals, and two out of three were made in correctly and I had to actually get back up to have them corrected as I had a young baby who couldn't have salt for seasoning on her stuff. We also ordered one of the burgers grilled but just couldn't get grilled and didn't wanna wait in line to have it fixed. Although they have unique options, I would say they rely on the toppings of things to flavor the food where I would've liked to see more flavoring in the actual chicken. A positive is that they did have someone outside taking orders to make sure the wind moved quickly which I do appreciate and the staff was very friendly although it was quite busy read more

There's a lot of chicken spots opening up around Tampa Bay area and I wanted to give this place a try based off the reviews. I had the chicken tenders, which had a good flavor to it, but it wasn't my style chicken tenders I like. They were thin and I like more of a thicker chicken tender. My sister had the sandwich that is #1 on the menu And she said it was really good. So I think the chicken tender would taste better on a sandwich because it looked like the same kind of tender used. The eggroll was pretty good too. I do wish it was fried a little bit more so I can have a nice crunch to it but overall, I would order this again if I was to come back. The mac & cheese was not the best. I the cheese was only in the middle and not the sides of the noodles so it was a little dry for my taste. I do love the sauces they offer. If they were to sell the sauce in bottles I would definitely get the garlic Parmesan and chipotle. The service was really good. They had a DJ outside which was nice especially since it was a good day to sit outside and listen to the music . We went around 6 PM on a Saturday. The restaurant itself was clean I loved the decoration. read more

Wow, I like this place. First its very clean, spotless, fun atmosphere, lots of music and decor. For a fried chicken place it has a great fresh smell inside. No burnt oil smell at all. So great a/c and ventalation system. We went on a saturday morning at 11am and was quiet at that time. My wife is in a Power wheelchair and the staff was very accomodating by bringing ordered food to the table. She ordered the breakfast chicken bowl and guacamole crema. I ordered the chopped fried chicken salad with the Italian dressing and ordered the donkey sauce as a extra sauce. I also ordered the chicken and cheese eggrolls . both were huge portions and delicious. The fried chicken is brined in pickle juice and was moist and tasty. The breakfast bowl was a smaller portion than my chopped fried chicken salad. We will be back to try other items on the menu soon. The manager came over to our table and was nice enough to ask us if we enjoyed everything. That was a nice touch to our visit. read more

Got to try Guy Fieri's famous chicken restaurant, Chicken Guy, and boy did we go to flavortown! This location is brand-new and it was packed when we got there, but it was truly worth the wait and we understand the hype! Everything came out full of flavor, fresh, and nice and hot. We were amazed at the quality-control, despite how busy it was both in the restaurant and in the drive through. It was definitely some of the best chicken we've had and all of their housemade sauces were unbeatable! Here's what we ordered: ~2 chocolate shakes-They were such a great treat! ~Bourbon Brown Sugar BBQ Chicken Sandwich- pepper jack, bourbon brown sugar bbq sauce, special sauce, slaw, pickles, and bbq kettle chips. It was huge and all of the toppings worked really well together. ~Mac n cheese chicken sandwich- Mac and cheese, smoked bacon, and garlic parmesan sauce. It usually comes with buffalo sauce too, but I skipped that. This was the epitome of cheat meal yummyness! ~Fried chicken dumplings- hand-breaded dumplings filled with seasoned chicken, topped with smoked bacon, green onions, sesame seeds, drizzled with donkey sauce, hot honey, and spicy teriyaki ~5 tenders with fries - These were the best tenders I've ever had. They were HUGE and so meaty. The outside was nice and crispy and they were seasoned beautifully. I loved dipping them in the different housemade sauces. My fave sauces were the ranch and garlic parmesan! ~Loaded Mac and cheese with chicken, #smc , smoked bacon, and green onions We can't wait to go back to Chicken Guy next time we are in Tampa! Came for the food and stayed for the service. I didn't get her name but she was amazing!! 10/10 on the service alone. The food was mid.

Why 4 stars? Stopped in to check out the new place on the block. Bright and vibrant inside look, was clean and inviting. Staff was nice, gave some suggestions but everyone looked a little lost (still new so expected). On to the main attraction. I got the OG sandwich and 3 tenders with different sauces to try. The sandwich was decent, very good size portion and had good flavor. It is two tenders with pickle and special sauce on a bun but would get again. Fries were well seasoned but a little soggy. The tenders were fresh and very crispy. They are a little too thin for me, but not overcooked. OG sauce was what you expect and what I thought would stand out. Was pleasantly surprised to try the Donkey and Nashville Hot and like them as much as I did. Give it a try as a new spot and will prob slide up your ranks to compete for your favorite chicken sandwich! read more
