First of all the owner parked his audi in front of the store in a parking spot all the way across 3 spots including handcap right in front of store. Very disappointed at that. The rice bowl absolutely no flavor other than the drizzle of sauce. They could have added any seasoning including salt or pepper, notwithstanding the weird water taste of the rice. I guess chicken was okay maybe a 2.2 but the fries we soggy and kind of full of oil and again not even salt on them. The boneless chicken was bland. The mad cheese same thing and very artificial. Was at the kava place next door and decided we'd stop in here after we visited. Place smelled yummy and the there were a lot of options on the menu from sandwiches, to wings, to fried oreos. The man at the register helped us with our order and was super quick to make it, & it was delicious! Decided to try Mad Chicken and was severely underwhelmed. Quite pricey for the quality of food. The chicken tenders were flattened so all I could really taste was the breading and the fries lacked seasoning big time. The sauce containers are pretty small and you'll be charged extra for additional sauce - but it's needed to make up for the overall lack of flavor. Also their garlic parmesan dipping sauce had a strong undertone of lemon and was a bit off putting. read more

I had buffalo wings and waffle fries. The wings were dry and shriveled like they had been cooked hours before I got there and the fries were stale. It was obvious that the food was not made to order but had been sitting around. Lacked flavor and was pretty expensive for fast food. 11.99 for the wings plus 3.99 to make it a meal with fries and a drink so for $16 I got six dry wings, stale fries and a lemonade. Mac and cheese flavor was kind of bland, and the chicken on top with sauce (mad sauce) just didn't really go together with it. The waffle fries were all soggy, sitting underneath the chicken. Update: about 4 hours later I had a big stomach issue after eating a salad from here. Avoid. As you may have seen by my tip on initial check-in on this restaurant, I noticed two issues right away. One was the touchpad, which was all sticky. The other was the bathroom, which smelled like someone had smoked in it. I notified the super nice counterperson who then Immediately worked to resolve both issues. After retrieving my salad on my way out the person from the back came out and thanked me for letting him know about the bathroom and he said it certainly wasn't anyone who worked there who did it. I think that was a nice gesture, and he was grateful that I brought it to his attention. As for the salad, it did come with cheese. The chicken was seasoned fairly well, but was a little overcooked and therefore dry and a bit rubbery. The salad was reasonably fresh, although there was a lot of iceberg lettuce and not that much in the way of other vegetables. I usually make my own salad dressing when I can, so I don't know if their dressing is good or not. I will probably try this location again, as I work nearby. read more

When it was my turn, I asked to order a family meal (25 tenders with 2 fries is what it is) and was told "we don't have that, it was deleted from the menu". I'm holding the menu in my hand that lists the item and was told repeatedly that "it was deleted". I'm holding it in my hand, it wasn't deleted. Anyhow, no offer to simply make me 25 tenders and 2 orders of fries - 2 things that are on their menu and no attempt to help at all. Just a shrug and "it was deleted". Off to PDQ we went where they have no problem placing an order like that. read more

Very good taste for a change. Employee's are knowledgeable and actually know what the food tastes like. So many times you go to a place and ask the employee helping you, what do you like? You usually get the deer in headlights look. Not here. They actually take time to explain you you are going to eat. The mad chicken theme is very original and seems very clean and tidy. We're from out of town but wanted chicken and this place was the only thing open close by. Food was hot which is the only positive thing. The service was horrible, the man in the front "helping" you was not friendly at all. We told him new and first time, didn't seem to care or make recommendations. He had no sense of service or friendliness. The chicken was overcooked and very dry. Sadly, wouldn't recommend it. I normally don't review restaurants...but mad chicken really surprised me. Where was their chicken sourced? Epstein's island? I almost felt bad eating chicken, because the wings and the drumsticks were so tiny that I can't imagine their chicken was harvested before even six months old. The flavor itself was very good and I would've enjoyed it if I wasn't struggling to eat my hasboro chicken wings for tots. The flavor is the ONLY reason this place got 2 stars at all. I had one normal sized drumstick so I know they have them but I'd really not like my meal to feel like a field trip, all kids and one chaperone. Then informed me that he "thinks" my order went to someone else. No apology, no trying to make it right?? I requested a refund and left.
