I had never had Korean BBQ Chicken before but I'm so glad I tried it here. The original blend was absolute fried chicken perfection. Then I tried the sweet teriyaki glaze which was out of this world. Their won tons are home made as well and the batters taste was unlike anything I've had before. I HIGHLY recommend that as an appetizer. The Restaraunt is really cool inside too. Okay food. This review is for takeout. I ordered on their website, and they texted me when my order was ready, a couple minutes earlier than expected. I ordered the half and half boneless (half original, half hot spicy) with radishes, a side of steamed rice, and an order of dumplings. The order was packaged well, nothing spilled on the drive home, but the cardboard box holding the chicken felt soggy when I opened it. The food was underwhelming. The dumplings were generic. I didn't receive the radishes I requested. The original chicken tasted of old grease and smoke, and it needed more salt. The hot spicy was hot and spicy but overwhelmingly bitter. The chicken was also pretty chewy and dry. Maybe I should have ordered the bone in chicken. But I was disappointed by the below average boneless chicken. I'm not returning here. read more

love this place have been here a few times before. Stopped by after playing pickleball with my friend to get some nutrients. Love the K pop vibe and all the lighting in the restaurant. I would've liked more variety as all that played was a playlist of NewJeans so some of the same songs played over again. Otherwise, the food was good and our server was awesome. They keep your drinks full and the napkins handy for all the fried chicken you're eating! Love the spacious layout of the restaurant. But the highlight is the food. First time here... although not my first time eating Korean Chicken. I used to go to a nice restaurant on 56th often when I lived in that area. Miss it sometimes. Very modern, and utilitarian... clean, multiple TVs on the wall blaring KPOP, which is an individual taste. I can deal with it when the food is good, lol. I was seated quickly, and "Anthony" brought me my drink choice very quickly. He had explained that wings will take up to 25 minutes to cook, and boneless slightly less... just in case I was time crunched. I had time to spare so I was good. I ordered the Spicy Galbi boneless chicken, after discussing heat levels with Anthony. I thought "two flames" might be a good starting point. Also ordered a bowl of steamed rice ( I love rice! ). Thought about some Kimchi... but did not get any this time. Chicken was served in about 16 minutes, which I thought was reasonable. Nice crust, crispy, tasty... sauce was good, although not spicy at all to me. I am glad I didnt order the regular Galbi chicken (one flame). Next time I will try the 3 or 4 flame spice levels. I just hope they are consistent. There have been times I would order a HOT spice level somewhere one day... that was meh... and the same HOT spice level was tongue burning and mind blowing the next day, lol. I like spice... but suffering is dumb! ;) Chicken was very tender and tasty... other than that. The pickled Daikon that came with the chicken was excellent! The rice was on point, and I emptied the bowl. Service was good... I was checked on several times, and when my drink was empty, one of the young ladies that works there offered to get me some more. For us was a surprise,the portion was bigger than expected. The sauce is fantastic, not too spicy and sweet enough. Perfectly breaded. I can say the 8 pieces is enough for 2 people cause the sweetness can fill u up..plus the kimchi rice. Honey garlic boneless, the breading was like a perfect caramel, so crazy...seriously, like crystallized with an amazing flavor. The downside is that it's mostly the chicken skin but it does have meat. I wouldn't order it as an entree for me..but to share with others , absolutely Coleslaw :not on the sweeter side so perfect for the 2 flavors we chose Have NO complaints. Successful Korean fried chicken. This newly open restaurant is running a 20% off during soft opening. This place have wider seats space. Please be patient for the food. Since the they make the fried chicken as order, a 20 to 30 minutes wait will be need from order. I suggest you order some app while you are waiting for the main dish. Or has the items you want order immediately once you seat. We got the Galbi and Gangjeong wings. I like the Galbi a lot due to their smoky flavor. The Ganjeong also not bad. I'd been waiting for them to open after coming across the same place when I visited Colorado. I entered the store an immediately was asked if I was there to pick up for Door Dash. No, I was there to place an order. The girl spoke in such soft tones that it was hard to hear her over the music that was playing on the screens. I walked up to the counter and placed my order, not realizing that I could have sat at a table and placed an order there. I ordered the Honey Garlic wings (8 for around $15) , a soda ($3.25ish) and a side of coleslaw ($5). The total for this was just over $23, which is expensive for one person, and not at all what I thought I'd be paying, but I did. I waited to eat until I got home and I will say, the wings were crispy and tasty, but the 12 ounce soda for over $3 is kinda dumb. Anyway, I will likely only come here rarely, because the prices for the wings is incredibly high. I've tried this Korean fried chicken chain of restaurants in multiple locations throughout the world and I must note that this location is the most spacious and comfortable. While they are still in soft opening phase;there are some portion, service, and consistency issues that will be worked out over time. In comparison to other "fried chicken" and/or "chicken finger" chains in the Tampa Bay area, local customers may be shocked at the high cost per portion. But, try to keep in mind that imported ingredients are not cheap these days. Also, the restaurant may want to consider adding lunch specials to keep repeat customers. For example: A simple meal for 2 people here of 2 small fried chicken baskets, 2 sodas, and two small sides was $82 with tip. Which is not sustainable in Tampa Bay for a casual style restaurant. Note that the items on the sides menu are quite small. The Ddukbokki and Fried rice dishes come in a small cereal size ceramic bowl for $12-15. Tried to buy gift cards for social media giveaway and they told me that they don't sell them. read more

The wings are sooo crispy. They're large, random number of drums and flats, and take at least 20 min. to come out (which we were told immediately). Gangnam style was the right amount of sweet and heat. The restaurant was chilly, only K-pop on the TVs, and the beer bar wasn't yet finished or open. I even got a hint of cinnamon toast. We also got a small wing Gangnam style - this flavor was a sweet and spicy, and according to one of the waiters, it is stir fried so it's "healthier". And we also shared a side of fries. The food came out burning hot which was good (rather that than cold). I've never had crispier wings in my life. The fries were also very delicious. I would definitely go back and try the other flavors. Our total was $34 before tip. Cleanliness: 0/5. This the main reason why my review went down to a 3. The ENTIRE floor looked like it had not been mopped since they opened, which was two weeks ago. It was so disgusting that I tried to look away so I wouldn't get up and just walk away. We don't typically speak with managers, but we were very close to doing so and advising them how the floor itself can definitely deter potential clientele. (You can see some of the marks in my call button picture. That is not the floor design..). I also went to the women's bathroom and found neither stall had toilet paper. When I asked the wait staff they very kindly told me they stash it at the top of one of the toilets, grabbed one more me, and proceeded to tell me where they keep them if I needed it in the future....? It's pretty good much better than other fried chicken places Secret sauce - My favorite of all of them, great balance of sweet and savory Soy Garlic - Good but I felt like the flavors of soy and sweet were a little overwhelming Honey Garlic - I thought this was surprisingly better than the Soy Garlic. I was concerned it would be too sweet but the balance of sweetness was perfect When we first stepped in there was an overwhelming spray paint odor. This is the grand opening so I'm not surprised that they are still adding in a few finishing touches. We asked to sit further back where the odor was less noticeable. Service I think was fine. They have the call button for the wait staff. They checked on us periodically. It did take a few minutes for the food to come out. It's fine because it is all made fresh. Went to their soft opening. Party of 9. FACILTY: Nice open floor layout. TVs around the perimeter of the room with Kpop playing. The music wasn't too loud, and the acoustics were decent enough for conversation. The chairs are super hard. I really didn't notice at first, but the food took a while to start showing up(as expected for a soft opening) The men's bathroom door closers needs adjustment as it was a bit strong and made it difficult for kids to open and close without assistance. The men's door hardware also needs some work, as it was super loose. I would recommend routine cleaning throughout dining hours as it needed some TLC by 7pm. The women's restroom donned an upside down "M" instead of a "W". I can't comment on the inside. FOOD: The chicken and fries were all cooked and seasoned well. We tried the sweet pot fries, waffle fries, curly fries, and normal fries. We tried golden original, spicy galbi, galbi, spicy original, honey garlic, gang jeong, and gangnam. Fan favorites were the honey garlic galbi, and the gang jeong(swt and spicy). If I could only choose one, I'd get gang jeong again. The spicy galbi and gangnam were not really spicy at all but had good flavor. DRINK: Coca Cola offerings... however, the carbonation and syrup ratios are all wrong and the soda was pretty bad. This can be addressed easily. I like the metal cups for water. SERVICE: Each table has a little pager button to call for help. It is a nice way to flag down your server... Unless someone else pushes the button after you and clears your table number off of their monitor. The staff were friendly and as attentive as possible, but definitely not an easy soft opening for the staff. I think this will improve with time and experience. They definitely need to focus on BOH to FOH transitions with their food. One personal nitpick... I asked a server for napkins for a table of 9. I was handed 4. I went back and asked for more... for my table of 9. I was handed 3. I had to just grab a few more myself since he didn't seem to understand that I needed napkins for our large party. It may be beneficial to give napkins to the party when seated instead of waiting for guests to ask. Or, consider napkin dispensers for each table so that the servers can focus more on service. Anyway... I would go back as the chicken and fries were decent. However, I hope that the owner can take my feedback from the soft opening and make a few minor improvements. read more
