The chicken is getting smaller and smaller, and the mashed potatoes were really "gummy" the last time we got them. The service is great, so I'll give them credit where it's due. We don't eat there often at all, but will give it another try one day on a cheat day. read more

I am not sure what happened to this location recently, but service has been superb now. I always get the livers. I've been there 3 times and each time the food is nice and fresh. My only concern is that the fries could be cooked a little bit loI was told that this location has a new manager and it sure does show. The staff is friendly, and my orders have been accurate. I will definitely return. I took the time to write this review because places like this usually have terrible reviews and no one ever write positive reviews. read more

Chicken Express - #5 - Liver/Gizzard Combo - Fast Food Near Me - Saginaw, Texas

Today, I was running errands with my son in Saginaw and decided to stop at this location. I have to be in a particular mood for chicken tenders so when I am in the mood, I like to swing by a Chicken Express. I do have to say though that these are by far the smallest chicken tenders I've ever received at any of their locations. When we opened the box we were kind of shocked. The meal was $11.90. Maybe inflation has affected them also? lol. Now when we went through the drive thru they weren't very busy so for the service I would say a 3.5 because they were pretty quick getting us through the line, order was correct and food was not fresh but still warm. I ordered a #1- 4 piece chicken tender meal with half spicy/half regular chicken, green beans and a roll half sweet/half unsweetened tea. I'm not sure if it was just the person that put my order together today or if this is the new norm. read more

Good food at expensive prices. There's really nothing bad with the service or the food here. I enjoy gizzards and there is always a wait for them cause they're cooked fresh. I do appreciate that. I just don't like how the price of chicken tenders has gone sky high. I literally waited in the drive thru looking things over and decided to keep driving due to the high prices. I'd rather go buy my own chicken and fry it up than spend money on overpriced chicken tenders. Lisa's Chicken and Seafood is so much better with taste and cost, I'd rather drive out of my way to get Lisas than spend money on expensive chicken. Lower prices and I might be back. Just not gonna do it. read more

Do not go here!! It took them 40 minutes to fulfill my order. When I asked for an extra drink they said I would have to pay. This place is ran by poor managers. read more

This is a brand new location. I've been inside and through the drive-through several times and the service is fast and the interior of the restaurant is always clean. In addition to that, the workers are always friendly and helpful. The food is always hot, fresh, and often times they throw in a few extra chicken tenders. Very good sweet tea (if you like it really sweet!) Bonus: If you get a combo meal and do not want to drink, you can get an extra side:) read more

Didn't give me half of my order. Would not recommend. I also waited 20 minutes in the line while other continued to get their food behind me

I go to Chicken Express for the fish filet, which comes with hush puppies that I shouldn't eat.

My boys and i came for lunch. My son didn't know what okra was. After trying to explain it, Lacey said "let me get one to sample": . He tried one, and loved it, so we ordered it. She was soooo nice. We have always had a fantastic experience at this chicken express. Food is great. We really appreciated Lacey this time. She made this good experience great. Thanks Lacey. Lacey made us feel loyal for life. read more

Twice now they have forgotten my mashed potatoes on an Uber eats order. I don't know what their problem is, but I won't be getting my chicken from them anymore. read more

Well when you ask for some thing specific and they even repeat it to you, as well as it is on the receipt. You have to wonder why it did not make it into the box...... read more

Apparently they stop having food ready at a certain undisclosed time and they claim it takes 25 minutes to prepare. So if you show up a few minutes before close they have no food. The best part is they are rude and unapologetic or sympathetic to the fact that I had two teenagers that just finished hockey practice. Customer service is apparently a thing of the past. Would. It recommend. read more

They take waaaaaaayyyy too long for 4 tenders! Their employees have absolutely no clue what is going on with the orders. My order was wrong after 20 minutes of waiting. The person at the window had an attitude and terrible customer service. This place SUCKS. And to think they have new management. Well you should keep looking. read more

Very unsatisfactory business , they serve people that comes after Lack of professionalism and respect read more

Horrible. I've been to this one in Saginaw multiple times and it's gone downhill. Last time my chicken tenders where not edible they were hard as a rock-all crust-and very small and broken. Out nearly $10. YUCK. Went to the ladies' room afterward and the smell was horrific! I couldn't wait to get out of there. Today I stopped in again-for the last time. This time I ordered two breasts and mashed potatoes. I Opened the lid of the potatoes and was horrified. A big area was missing from the side, couldn't see much gravy, and the potatoes looked dried up. Took them to the counter-the guy switched them for me-I just learned today those potatoes are mass produced and kept in a tall warmer already in their bowls. They sit there all day long heating or maybe longer. The bowl he gave me didn't look much better. Barely any gravy and very small amount of potatoes. I get back to my seat and guess what? NO FORK in the box and none on the counter. Had to go back wait again to get a fork. The breasts were solid grease, and cooked in old oil. I could tell first bite. Out $10 again. I gathered my things to leave and stopped in the ladies room. Once again, it reeked of sewer smell. The health dept needs to pay a visit here for sure. NOT HAPPY CHICKEN EXPRESS. You could do MUCH better. Get fresh potatoes, fresh oil and fix the sewer smell in the bathrooms!! read more

Terrible service for the last time. Went through the drive thru and got a 7piece dinner with mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. Should have checked.... Got home 15m later to find a 3 piece with mac and cheese. I called the "manager" and said i needed to fix it today because what I was given me would only feed a child. The manager asks me to find a number on the receipt and then repeats my order. I return the food and wait for a replacement. They do not give me mashed potatoes and try to say it wasn't on the order. Of course I've already wasted so much time I just leave still with an incomplete order. Also, I'd note this is not the first time with trash service from this chicken express read more

Dude like literally every time I come here I order the same thing and somehow no matter what I always get my order wrong. Like there's no way you can mistake the spicy chicken to the normal at all. And it's so annoying so please keep the employees in check. read more

I really like their Chicken Tenders and gravy, BUT, I cannot risk bringing covid-19 home just because the staff does not wear their masks while handling my food. I ordered a 25 chicken tenders meal plus poppers and a gallon of tea in the drive through before lunch this morning before pulling my card back and refusing to accept the order. I can wash my hands and all of the stuff I buy at Lowes before bringing them into the house, but my risk is too high if the food workers breath on my food as it sits under the warming lamp. Since the County food inspectors don't make it easy to report, all I can do is vote with my feet and shop elsewehere. read more

If you want a fat, yellow, chicken breast this is the place for you. Could not eat it...what a waste. Will not be back.

We went last night . We love chicken express but usually go to another location . Restaurant was very clean and staff was friendly ! We got our order correct and it was excellent! The guys both ordered #1 combo and got an extra side instead of a drink . I ordered the fish snack pack ;) which I thought was AMAZING .... They even got my extra crispy okra right !! read more

Love the #1 with fries, hot sauce, and the hot serendipity seasoning here. Orders are always right, quick, and staff is great.

This place is awesome! The staff is courteous and friendly. The food is great. Good atmosphere. They keep the place clean. Clean bathrooms as well. read more

Never been here before, read the reviews and thought we'd try it! It was really good everything seemed fresh, I'd go back!

I love Chicken Express, it's the best. I love the rolls and the corn nuggets. This Chicken Express is great.

What happened to that little Latino cook that cooked on Sundays? His chicken was perfect and delicious. The chicken now is just like Churches and that's not a good thing. I used to love coming up there now I'll rather go with the cheaper option. Also, the gravy is getting really watery it isn't as creamy as it used to be. What happened to this place? It used to be really good now it's just another chicken shack. read more
