Kai Adams WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE Yesterday a little before 4:22PM on 4/1/2026 I experienced the worst customer service i've ever had. I pulled up to the window and saw their new menu layout(not my first time seeing it) so ask for my usual, a snack pack. I have ordered one other time with their new menu layout. Anyways the person who was on drive through said "we don't have that anymore" with an attitude, but it didn't bother me... until i asked for chicken(bc i thought he'd understand due to me just asking for a snack pack). He THEN treats me like im dumb and a kid and starts showing me each part of the menu in a rude way, double checking it and everything. Then proceeds to ask "So can you just order(5 second pause) please, in the most rude way possible. So i said "i'll come back later" in a soft tone, in reply he said "whatever sir". This is not to hate on the location,food, or company. I love their chicken and grav... but i do believe that customers and customer service matter most when working at an establishment like this. I had chicken express the other day and got their spicy chicken tenders, rolls, fries, and jalapeño poppers. The chicken was pretty good as the breading had some good spice too it and crisp. One thing i didn't like is the lack of moisture and juiciness in the chicken. The jalapeño poppers were great. The creaminess of the cheese and the crisp of the breading and hint of spice for the jalapeño poppers made me feel tingly inside (in a good way). I would definitely go back and just eat like 30 of them. The rolls were nothing special. I wish there was butter or it was toasted or something. When we came here to get the correct order they tried to blame the driver for getting the wrong order. But since they gave him the bag WITH our receipt it was 100% their fault. Really really surprising!!! I will be back to try again but first experience was a winner. Taste better than popeyes and i love popeyes but lately they have been slacking and that chicken dont look soo appetizing. But chicken express chicken was all around white dark meat, juicy flavorful and crispy. The outside appearance is decieving like its a whole in the wall no one goes to. Haven't been to texas in forever and I've been craving chicken E. My fist meal was here. We ordered the 25 chicken tender meal. Half spicy and half regular. Read the negative reviews and take heed. This place is terrible. The customer service is so bad it's like these people live on another planet. They're aggressive, angry, and very short-tempered. It's a very intimidating experience. When they're finished sighing at you and slamming the keys on the register when inputting your order, they will then get your order wrong. They're notorious for this. I had a big order so when the guy handed it to me I put it on a table behind me to go through it to make sure it was all there and while I was doing that he walked by and looked over and goes, "Oh wow. When I request thighs and wings in an eight piece order, I've been given legs-which neither myself nor my husband likes, although we don't let it go to waste. Took a long while for someone to even notice me at the front counter (probably because the manager guy was having to play catch up). Lights were out on their menu board...in thinking, Are we actually open or not? But it was 11:30 and there were other customers eating. They were out of ice. Manager had to get me ice from the back. They were out of sweet tea! So I grabbed Dr. Pepper instead. Food came out super quick! But my tenders and my roll were cold. Now, this is not the rule here, from my experience, and I think someone forgot to show to open the store or something, because the manager was busting his butt playing catch up.
