Currently in the process of filing a customer complaint to corporate, as they are currently closed. The way I was treated by the cashier today was outrageous. I left the store in tears. My significant was ordering our food, and I never once said a word to the lady taking our order, I only told my significant what I was wanting to get. Since today has been a long day, I was letting him take the wheel. As soon as she started to take our order she started talking about me and laughing at me. Completely unprofessional and uncalled for. I am still working on getting her name, since the receipt did not say it. We will call the cashier Jane Doe for now since her name is still unknown. Jane laughed at me and talked about me the whole time, from when I came to the counter to when I walked out of the door, and I never once responded. She asked my significant, "What's wrong with her?" He told her that it has been a long day. While I was filling up a cup at the fountain, she said, "Her shorts are too short, I'm going to have to get onto her for that one." (They were not, they are 11.5" to be exact and I am a 5' tall female of 120lbs) While my boyfriend was ordering I told him we were given a $25 spending limit. So, while I was filling up my drink, significant asked me if $27.50 was okay, and I told him yes, to which she asked him, "is that was she was complaining about? *Laughs* she asks my significant, " Whos money is it? Yours or hers?" Significant, "Neither, its grandmas." I gave my significant the card by setting on the counter infront of him, she then made a snarky comment under her breath, i ignored it and headed towards the door to go to my car, to which she laughed and said, "Oh she's walking out." Everything she said had a snarky and rude tone, she saw that I was tired, having had a long day, and chose to take advantage of that to try and make herself feel better. We call these people bully's.
The only other issue we had today was, my significant had one simple request, to have 4 rolls and 2 biscuits with his order, and she could not grant that one simple request. It was too complicated for her to do.
The only other problem I have ever had here, is being hit on by the male employees, and even after showing that I do not appreciate their catcalls and disrespect it still continues to happen while other employees, even women laugh and think it is funny. Even going through the drive through I still encounter disrespect, unprofessionism, attitude, and catcalling.
If a manager or someone from corporate would like to help me with this issue, my cashier is unknown but it was whomever was running register one, at 6:31pm, on 3/28/2018. read more
