One of my go-tos for Korean fried chicken! I stopped in recently and a wave of nostalgia hit me. This is a small mom-and-pop restaurant that makes everything to order. With that being said, the service is a bit slow so do plan on a wait if you are stopping by. Our go to order is the soy garlic wings, the tofu soup, and some rice! The soy garlic wings are crispy and soo good, but at our last visit, I did notice that the wings are a lot smaller than they used to be. The tofu soup is still as delicious as I remember, and we also tried the potato soup which I was pleasantly surprised by! We also tried to the bibimbap for the first time, and it was also very flavorful. My only note for the food here, is that they are a bit stingy on the quantity for the price. I found the portion of our bibimbap sauce to be very little, and they charge extra for more banchan versus the usual free refill in a Korean restaurant. Me and my friends, who are all OU students, go here at least once a month when we're feeling homesick. and this place really makes us feel at home. all the employees are so kind and the service is very fast. the portion size is pretty big too. my friends get different things each time, but i'm a vegetarian and i'm obsessed with the tofu rice bowl and crave it all the time. each meal also comes with a little dish with kimchi, bean sprouts, and these delicious salty potatoes. it's a small and simply decorated interior, but that only contributes to the casual atmosphere. thank you, wing it, for being our home away from home! read more

Wing It is located in a very simple, small space, but don't let that deceive you. They've got a decent menu that offers 3 wing sauces, rice bowls, different soups, and more - all which are staple Korean dishes! To put it simply, this place does their wings right. Hands out the best wings I've ever had in Oklahoma, and it doesn't even matter that there's only 3 sauces to choose from! This place is truly a gem. If you order wings, there's generally a small wait because they cook them to order, and they come out steaming hot and crunchy as can be. I particularly love the garlic soy, and we'll get spicy teriyaki and hot flavors if we've got a bigger group. And the pickled daikon! Don't forget to ask for extra daikon because it only enhances the wings experience. I've tried the beef bulgogi rice bowl, and it is tasty, but the other entree I always order here in addition to the wings is the sundubu, a boiling hot seafood and tofu soup. It is literally boiling as they serve it to you, and they drop in a raw egg into it right before they serve it to allow it to cook right before it gets to you. I seriously never order from Wing It without this soup! Wing It not only gets the food right, but they have great service alongside with everything else. The restaurant is ran by a sweet Korean couple, and I love supporting their small business. I got pretty worried about them during the height of the pandemic last year but obviously they survived it! I'd love if their space was a little bigger for dining in, but we mostly order to go nowadays, so the small space isn't an issue for us. I had heard several people mention this place and thought I'd give them a try... I called and was going to get information so I could order. The person on the phone had major problems hearing me and gave me very limited information in order to place my order,it was literally almost to the point where I decided to go elsewhere. I stuck it out and 20 min later I arrive to get my order. The customer service didn't improve once I got it,although not rude.. just not very personable at all. These past few weeks consisted of Korean fried chicken withdrawals after visiting Dallas so when the bff said I could get the same deliciousness locally I knew I had to stop by. The wings weren't greasy and had a light layer of crispy goodness on the outside while the inside was nice and juicy. We tried all of the flavors available: Soy Garlic, teriyaki, and hot. The wings come with pickled daikon. Kimchi, bean sprouts, stewed potatoes, and rice are $1 each. Soy garlic was good but the garlicky taste may be too subtle for garlic lovers. The teriyaki was also good & salty with a slight sweetness. The Hot wings were our favorite and spicy, but not spicy enough to make me cry. For anyone missing Bon Chon aka Korean fried chicken wings, this is the place to go! Since everything is made to order, do plan on a bit of a wait. The restaurant is an intimate space, with a bit of decor here and there, quaint overall. But alas, we were there for the wings, not the place. As we waited, we were brought a cute pitcher of water with cups, so we could refill as we pleased. A reasonable amount of time later (given the time it takes to double fry wings) our food was brought out. And gosh, was it delicious!! We ordered the spicy and soy garlic wings. Our friends ordered a chicken bowl and teriyaki wings. Everything was so good. The chicken wings are the perfect friedness (more than the average chicken wing elsewhere) and the sauce was just right. Portion wise, the wings are pretty meaty, I pushed myself to eat 7ish, because they were too good to waste! And let's not forget about the sides. We each got some white rice, bean sprouts, kimchi and radish. They do cost extra, but not too much. Wings: 5/5 You have to get the wings if you come here! I get the 12 pc with 1/2 garlic soy and 1/2 hot. The hot is actually not very hot, but it builds over time. The wings are perfectly cooked and crispy. The sauces are so flavorful. Spicy Potato Soup: 3/5 It's ok. They stick a giant half of a potato in flavorful broth with really bad cuts of meat. It's hard to eat the meat off of a pork vertebrae. The broth is amazing, and this dish would be fantastic with diced potato and better cuts of pork. Side dishes: 5/5 Their side dishes are stellar. If I am out of kimichi at home, I always buy a jar to take home with me. They make it in house, and it's my favorite in the OKC metro area. The bean sprouts and potatoes are delicious too. Service: 3/5, venturing to a 2 This category is where they can improve. While the food is amazing, the service is lackluster. They get really busy around lunchtime and start to drop the ball. They don't have wetnaps even though they are a wing stop. It's hard to get your drinks or anything beyond ordering and then your food being delivered. If you want anything, you better ask for it the two times you see the waitress. If you get what you ask for then, you are lucky. read more

Originally we were planning on going to a Thai restaurant next door. It was closed and it was pouring rain. We noticed this restaurant next door so figured it would be better to just jump inside and try it out. At first glance, this was a complete hole in the wall. They have about 6 tables. It seemed it was run by a family and they didn't have extra employees to make this place run faster. I would say if you come during lunch hour then be willing to wait longer than expected. I wanted to try a few things on the menu. I ordered the garlic soy wings , sea food soup and chicken rice. Everything was delicious. I was disappointed in the soup because for a sea food soup there was barely any seafood in it. That's not at all ok. I felt ripped off. There is a very long wait for chicken wings. I would call ahead and order those if you plan to order them. They are great though. I would order it again but next time I'll order it early. Also the Korean side dishes (Banchan) was very small and not as tasty as most Korean restaurants. This was a disappointment. I had lost my credit card there and the employers were so nice to try to help me find it. I ended up cancelling the card since we couldn't find it. This place is run by a very hard working family. I would want to go to this local restaurant just to support nice, hard working family that cooks good food. There are some things that need to be changed but all in all its great! read more

This is a very good Korean BBQ spot. Their prices are about average for similar restaurants. We dined in and the service was quick and they were VERY friendly. They have several different drink options ranging from soda to specialized strawberry milk drinks. We got the Chicken Bulgogi and it was very good. It came on top of the rice. Their spice levels range from 0-10, 7 will make you sweat but is bearable and has good taste. Their wings are delicious! They are breaded and come in 3 different flavor options (1 flavor per 6 wings). I would recommend this place to anyone who likes Korean BBQ! read more

This is easily one of my favorite restaurants in Oklahoma. There's nothing that makes me more happy than Wing It's delicious wings! They're seasoned perfectly and breaded in a way that is hard to find anywhere else. Every time I go, I get wings flavored in Spicy Teriyaki and Hot as well as their Potato Stew. The Hot is my favorite and sometimes, I get extra hot which is REALLY SPICY. The soup of their Potato Stew is perfect for any occasion! You'll definitely enjoy it if you like Korean soups! I am a bit torn on this review because I have mixed feelings about my visit. The woman that was running the shop seemed nice, and the service was good. I was just a bit disappointed in the bulgogi. It didn't have that smokey, sweet soy sauce flavor. It felt like a Chinese sauteed beef dish with sauce. I will say that the hot wings were pretty tasty! Perfectly hot, fresh, and crisp. And don't worry, it's not blazing spicy or anything. It's Korean styled chicken wings so it's got that special, life-changing crunch when you bite into it. And the wings come with a small side of refreshing pickled radish! If you love potatoes, you have to try the potato stew.
