Seafood Tofu Soup // ig: @sandyeatslocal
Sandra V.

One of my go-tos for Korean fried chicken! I stopped in recently and a wave of nostalgia hit me. This is a small mom-and-pop restaurant that makes everything to order. With that being said, the service is a bit slow so do plan on a wait if you are stopping by. Our go to order is the soy garlic wings, the tofu soup, and some rice! The soy garlic wings are crispy and soo good, but at our last visit, I did notice that the wings are a lot smaller than they used to be. The tofu soup is still as delicious as I remember, and we also tried the potato soup which I was pleasantly surprised by! We also tried to the bibimbap for the first time, and it was also very flavorful. My only note for the food here, is that they are a bit stingy on the quantity for the price. I found the portion of our bibimbap sauce to be very little, and they charge extra for more banchan versus the usual free refill in a Korean restaurant. I still love coming, and the staff is sweet

Was seated right away and ordered the tofu seafood soup which you pick your spice level 1-10. Hot and tasty! Also came with sides and rice. Got hot and soy garlic wings. Delicious but wish it was more saucey but very crispy!

Craving for some Korean food in the area, so glad I found this place. The service was great & my food was good. The only reason I gave it 4 was bcoz my order had a very little ground beef on it. I am so used to having more meat from other places I've been to. Otherwise, the place was great and clean. Totally, recommending them!

Beef Bulgogi rice bowl, soondubu soup, garlic soy & spicy teriyaki wings

Wing It is located in a very simple, small space, but don't let that deceive you. They've got a decent menu that offers 3 wing sauces, rice bowls, different soups, and more - all which are staple Korean dishes! To put it simply, this place does their wings right. Hands out the best wings I've ever had in Oklahoma, and it doesn't even matter that there's only 3 sauces to choose from! This place is truly a gem. If you order wings, there's generally a small wait because they cook them to order, and they come out steaming hot and crunchy as can be. I particularly love the garlic soy, and we'll get spicy teriyaki and hot flavors if we've got a bigger group. And the pickled daikon! Don't forget to ask for extra daikon because it only enhances the wings experience. I've tried the beef bulgogi rice bowl, and it is tasty, but the other entree I always order here in addition to the wings is the sundubu, a boiling hot seafood and tofu soup. It is literally boiling as they serve it to you, and they drop in a raw egg into it right before they serve it to allow it to cook right before it gets to you. I seriously never order from Wing It without this soup! Wing It not only gets the food right, but they have great service alongside with everything else. The restaurant is ran by a sweet Korean couple, and I love supporting their small business. I got pretty worried about them during the height of the pandemic last year but obviously they survived it! I'd love if their space was a little bigger for dining in, but we mostly order to go nowadays, so the small space isn't an issue for us. If I could only dine from one place in Norman, it would be Wing It!

Nice lovely hole in the wall. Was recommended by some peers. The food was amazing I ended up getting soy garlic wings and beef bulgogi bowl that came with delicious sides, potatoes to be exact!!! Overall enjoyed my experience there and the service was quick and fast and they were always coming up to me checking how I was doing and how the food was!

I had no idea there was a Korean Wings joint nearby and can't believe I've been missing out! These past few weeks consisted of Korean fried chicken withdrawals after visiting Dallas so when the bff said I could get the same deliciousness locally I knew I had to stop by. The wings weren't greasy and had a light layer of crispy goodness on the outside while the inside was nice and juicy. We tried all of the flavors available: Soy Garlic, teriyaki, and hot. The wings come with pickled daikon. Kimchi, bean sprouts, stewed potatoes, and rice are $1 each. Soy garlic was good but the garlicky taste may be too subtle for garlic lovers. The teriyaki was also good & salty with a slight sweetness. The Hot wings were our favorite and spicy, but not spicy enough to make me cry. A couple of the other reviews on here state that you can request extra hot so I may be brave next time and do that.

I love this restaurant! The garlic soy wings are the best! I also really enjoy their pork bone and potato soup! The bulgogi is decent.

Every message is optimistic and uplifting as "life is beautiful and so are you." I love the concept of the tea shop and everything else built around this beautiful concept. The owner was so helpful. She will guide you through the menu as she has revamped it herself after taking over the shop 2.5 years ago. She renovated the shop into her own vision and it has never been better. The milk teas are of the highest quality. As an avid tea drinker, I could taste the tea flavors at Bahn Thai Tea. The Taiwanese Lavender Milk Tea uses oolong tea and I could detect oolong tea in the drink which I love. At other places, you couldn't because the milk and sugar would overtake the tea flavor itself. But not at Bahn Thai Tea, my friend, and that's a really good thing. The owner also gave me a complimentary Thai milk tea due to being from Tulsa and being a reviewer. The Thai Tea was good, but as a traditional hot tea drinker, I prefer the oolong based milk tea because of the impeccable tea flavors. I can confidently say Bahn Thai Tea is an exceptional tea shop with highest quality ingredients and a concept and message that the world desperately needed. I hope to see this tea shop continue to thrive the next time I am in town.
