We had an awesome experience and the owner, Corey, is an amazing guy. As a former OU player he was so fun to talk with. He and his staff were very friendly and the food was amazing. We stopped by after the Auburn game and they worked hard to get our large party seated quickly. The wings and fries were amazing and the atmosphere was so fun. Food and service were great! Unintentionally went during an OU away game. The place was super loud but that's to be expected. The service was wonderful and there was always someone stopping by to make sure we were ok and asking if we needed anything. The menu is limited and the vibe is definitely more bar than a restaurant. That being said the food was so good! We started with the pretzel bites and cheese and we loved them. We ordered both boneless and bone in bbq wings and they were both great! The bone in wings had plenty of meat on them and were juicy unlike other places that tend to overcook their wings until they're dried out. Waffle fries were more like chips but still great. I went for lunch on a weekday during their opening week. The place was moderately busy but there seemed to be plenty of staff. We were seated quickly and then took a while for our server to come get our drink order. After while she brought the drinks and we placed our food order. We ordered the nachos as an appetizer for the table, I got a set of the boneless wings (with no fries) and the other people at the table ordered the regular wings (with no fries). Food took a while to come out. Everything came out at once. Both ordered of wings had fries, but our server assured us that they would be taken off the bill. The boneless wings were... terrible. There was so much breading I'm not sure there was any chicken in the wing. It was very unimpressive. The fries taste about like Sam's Club waffle fries that you can make at home in the air fryer. The other part of my party said their regular wings were unimpressive. They had ordered a couple different wing flavors but they just kinda threw them all together on the tray so it was hard to know what you were getting. The nachos were unimpressive as well- not at all worth the $12 price tag. We got our bills and paid. The tab was extremely high. In reviewing my bill (after I paid as their system is to charge you on the handheld) I was charged for a coke (that I didn't have) and charged for the fries (that I didn't order). Even if I had got the fries, they should have been $3 since they were with wings and not the $5 that was on the bill. Either way, those fries are not worth anywhere close to that price. I really wanted to like this place, but it just really didn't hit the mark. Food was mid and expensive for what you get. I realize they're still new and getting things in order and hope they can turn things around, but the initial impression was less than stellar and it's really going to have to take improvement to make me go back. read more

Go here! We were in town as Iowa fans as they faced OU in the Women's NCAA Tournament. Went to the game, and then to Coaches Corner for dinner and drinks postgame. Owner Cory welcomed us right away. Grace was our server and was attentive and efficient. Cory checked on us and got us a fresh ketchup bottle when necessary. Since we'd just lost to OU, he asked the assembled crowd to give Iowa a round of applause, which they did. Numerous patrons stopped by for a quick hello and to wish us well. My wife and I shared chips and queso and a standard cheeseburger, and both were very good. An excellent experience overall, and I'm hoping we can follow other Iowa sports teams to Norman in the future and when we do we will for sure be repeat customers of Coaches Corner. read more

This is our second time here! We enjoyed ourselves so much during our first visit for the OU game that we decided to come back. Today is Soul Food Sunday, and the smothered pork was absolutely mouthwatering. The staff is very friendly, and the customer service is outstanding. I had the Linebacker Burger as it comes with fries, my husband had 10 Lemon Pepper wings (extra crispy) with ranch dressing and buffalo sauce on the side and we ordered the fried pickles as well. Everything was REALLY, really good and cooked perfectly!! One of the owners was going around and introducing himself and thanking people for coming which I thought was very nice and thoughtful. I came on a Monday during their Happy Hour deals. My waitress was friendly, but didn't know about what their "Burger Special" contained. I got pretzels and beer cheese, an all-American cheeseburger, and fries for around $16. The amount of the food was great for the price, but the quality was mid. The pretzels and cheese were definitely the best item. The fries were decent, they had a good texture, but need seasoning. The burger was very bland and greasy, although I do like that they toasted the bun. Overall, I would not choose to eat there again over other options. read more

Granted I got food from here on DoorDash but I got the chicken bacon ranch wrap. It was utterly awful, it was the dryest chicken I've ever tasted in my life and I got a side of mac n cheese that was super lackluster, the sauce had basically zero seasoning so it was incredibly bland. They also don't advertise all the ingredients they put in the wrap and I like things more on the plain side. One star for Tuesday nights. Y'all need to get rid of the bingo guy. The first time we were there and bingo was going on we didn't even know it was a thing. The games were done by just a guy with a laptop and and the voice was by the programit. I was watching a game but my wife and everyone who was playing were having a blast. There were families with kids there an it was great. This new guy has run us off from coming in on Tuesday nights. In fact while writing this I am sitting in my jeep trying to figure out where else to go from here because I cannot stand to listen to that. I notice there are only about five cars in the parking lot and two customers just came out the door and said WTF to each other because they were tired of listening to it. I Love this place, it has become a regular for me, the food is great, the staff is great, it is a great atmosphere to watch a game, but just can't do it on Tuesday's if the same guy is going to be there on the mic. My wife and I ate here recently. The service was friendly and great. The menu is limited but we were told it will grow. We had the fried pickles, the American Cheeseburgers, with waffle fries and onion straws. The food was delicious. Everyone was welcoming and there were TVs all around tuned to different games.
