This is one of the better Buffalo Wild Wings locations. Most of the franchise is run down. I went into the restaurant one minute after opening greeted with friendly staff as well as the general manager. I was seated promptly, as expected by being the first one in the restaurant for the day. I ordered a triple bacon cheeseburger and an order of ultimate nachos with chicken and chili. Upon ordering the cook informed me politely that food might be a minute using the excuse that he was making everything fresh. Which I don't mind at all, better to know beforehand. Plus I ordered a good bit of food. Upon receiving my meal I noticed that the ultimate nachos were not dressed with the cheese, which is a little unfortunate and odd, but I don't mind dressing it myself. The burger looks amazing tho. I can confirm that the burger tasted good. The ultimate nachos were also good. My only complaint is that the nachos were undressed, the food actually arrived in a timely manner despite being told it would take longer than usual. The restaurant itself looked clean and all the TVs and projectors were in working order. Which is great for a sports bar. I checked the male restrooms and they looked clean as expected for opening. I also tried to take a peek into the kitchen, there was liquid on the floor but it looked like water so I am assuming someone was mopping or cleaning. Overall a pleasant experience. We have been coming here every Friday and sometimes Saturday night for a couple months. Last Saturday night we had the best waitress ever. Food was good and hot and fast. Tonight we go in and had a waiter that served other people first even though they came in after us. He brought them refills and we had to ask. We didn't get our fried pickles until almost our dinner time which took forever. Food was cold when we got it and the fries tasted stale and cold. The women's restroom had no toilet paper in the stalls. Napkins were all over the floor when you walked in the place. So really we're not happy at all. It was like no one cared how the place looked. I visited this location today, as I do once or twice per week normally. I asked for my usual server. The young man who was seating me asked that I hang on for a minute. He came back to tell me that "the manager has recently gotten stricter on their seating" and "since my preferred server had just sat a table, I would have to sit in another section". I questioned the situation and was told again that the rotation is how they have to seat and they could not accommodate my request. I promptly declined seating and do not plan to return. I believe this to be a horrible business decision. If my preferred server is there and the place is not packed, I see no issue with seating me in her section. If you don't wish to accommodate my request, then I have plenty of other options to choose from. Congratulations. You just lost a regular customer. read more

People who had just sat down around us were getting their food before us. Our waitress never came over after they brought our food out. I had not checked reviews in Yelp prior to our meal and shame on me as I probably should have Once we arrived it was clear they are working with either green or lazy staff. A salad, a fried chicken sandwich and a chicken wrap took 60 minutes to receive and it came out warm. The wedge salad be warned comes with 1 chicken tender on it for $12.49! As we waited for our eternal meal I saw nothing less then 7 dirty tables not bussed and food continually delivered to the wrong table. Wow...where do I start? Maybe it's easier to say there is a Taco Bell and a McDonald's at this intersection and they are better options. We ordered to go because we're passing through Norman after a ball game. Boneless wings were also sauceless and required prompting to get it fixed. Who leaves the sauce off of wings if they are supposed to have a flavor? Lazy kitchen staff that's who! Get in the car and reach for a fry. I think those things were fried some time around 450BCE when the Buddha was born. Turn around and go back to get them remade. Because those fries weren't getting anyone to Nirvana. First and for-most..... if you have celiac this establishment is not safe regardless of what the website for BWW states. Our family chose this spot before the OU homecoming parade because it was quick, large enough for our party and on our way to the campus. I looked up their website before arriving to make sure there would be a safe option for celiac needs. The main BWW website said they had a dedicated frier for their tots and fries. When I asked our server she was unsure what gluten free was so I took a quick 10 sec to explain. She was kind and confirmed with the chef that there was no gluten free option on the menus. The rest of our family enjoyed the majority of their meal. The service was ok. My drink was never refilled and I had to go ask for a to go box for my daughter as well as a drink refill twice. They were not too busy which made it a little frustrating. There are so many other local establishments that will probably give better service. Hopefully this was just a bad day experience but we will most likely mot be back. read more

Two weeks ago I decided to go to Buffalo wild wings in Norman Oklahoma to watch a basketball game, I sat down and the waiter who I've seen multiple times, and usually has not the best attitude approaches the table and ask if I want anything? I said I would take a water for now, and he then tells my nephew who was with me that he did not pay his tab the last time he was there of $23, so my nephew works it out with him and pays the $23 tab. He proceeds to bring me my water and ask if I'm ready to order to which I reply,No I'm OK for now. He comes back three or four times in the next 12 to 15 minutes and I'll finally tell him in a very nice way that when I'm ready to order I will get his attention so he doesn't have to keep coming and asking to which he says OK and walks away. he returns 10 minutes later and says since you're not ordering anything, I'm gonna have to ask you to leave! I begin to ask questions, and then I digress and ask for the manager. The manager approaches and tells me the same thing, I inform him that I'm a regular and that my family has worked there, etc. and he still tells me I need to leave so I say OK. At this point he hovers over me and says, I said you need to leave. I look at him and say sir, I heard you the first time he didn't says yes, but you need to leave, I say I'm going to finish this water and finish sending this text message and he says I'm going to call the police, I said they're at 25 minutes waiting for the police to come, granite the only reason I didn't leave is because he said he was calling the police prior to that. I never said I wouldn't leave .when the police arrived he sprinted over and said whatever it is, he said to the officer. The officer aggressively approaches the table, demanding my identification, to which I refuse. He demands again, and i refuse and ask what crime I'm suspected of committing?? He says trespassing and if I don't comply I'm interfering with his investigation. I ask for a supervisor and he at that moment takes me into custody.All of this for drinking water and trying to watch the game! I was never told I was trespassing,never asked if i was going to order food,never asked if I was waiting on more people to arrive,nothing! Today I was in the mood to get disappointed so I decided to go to Buffalo Wild Wings in Norman. I have learned at least a little bit from the employees' past mistakes so this time I checked and double-checked my order before walking out with it (note: I have also learned not to ever order delivery from here). They did leave out all three of the side sauces I had ordered, but the employee working was able to rectify this once I pointed it out. Let this be your warning that you need to check your order before leaving with it, this will cause a headache but save you from a migraine. The employee laughed at me after I checked the sauce bag when she had just told me she added the correct sauces, but one can never be too careful. In addition, let me update you all on the refund situation discussed in my previous review. As you may recall, I was told they would issue a refund and a week later I called to inform them that the refund hadn't gone through. The person I spoke with said to wait another 3-5 days, so five days later I called again when the refund was unsurprisingly not issued. This time, I was able to speak with the only Buffalo Wild Wings employee who has ever been even remotely nice, Jason, who told me that I could come in for a cash refund. When I did come in to the store, Jason wasn't there, but Cadence was working, and she naturally was completely rude from the very start of the conversation. She printed out a receipt showing that the refund had been issued and tried to argue that I was wrong about the refund not issuing even after I showed her my bank account. She said that Jason was new and he was wrong in saying they could issue a cash refund, and to try calling back the next day to speak to the general manager, John. In speaking to John the next day, I was blessed with the experience of speaking with the most idiotic person I have ever met. It is now clear to me why this business has so many problems. John told me to come in to pick up a gift card, because apparently they are incapable of processing credit card refunds. When I went in to pick up the gift card, John was there to hand it to me. This is when I realized he was the person who had originally handed me the incorrect order weeks ago. It is a life-changing experience to look into the eyes of stupid. Times I visited BWW in-person for one order: 3 Times I had to call BWW for one order: 3 It should go without saying that I shouldn't have to contact BWW five times before getting a "refund" gift card. read more

After waiting for almost 5 minutes for someone to come out from the kitchen to seat me, I was sat at a booth. Very few people in there at the time. I kept seeing waitstaff go back into the kitchen and not come out, so I'm not sure what was going on. I watched as a man waited by the counter to pick up a to-go order for almost 7 minutes next to a ringing phone before a server came back from the kitchen. My server said that it was only her fourth day on the job, and it is obvious that they are massively understaffed. I received five wings instead of six, and I opted to just let that go, since my server seemed like she was overwhelmed with trying to wait tables, answer phones, and do whatever it was she was doing back in the kitchen all at the same time. I sure hope she wasn't actually cooking the food, too. They clearly need to hire more people and pay them more than they currently are. read more
