Not a bad spot for some bar food and a beer. The staff was very nice and attentive. Stuck with the basic chicken tenders which honestly were pretty good along with the shoestring fries. Only issue was the gravy wasn't very warm but overall I enjoyed the whole meal. We also got a teriyaki bowl which was cooked well and something I didn't expect to find amongst a bar menu. Louie's use to be really good, but has gone downhill. We tried a the new blackened shrimp bowl. It was just over seasoned frozen shrimp on top of microwaved rice with canned pineapple. Absolutely awful. The chicken strips are small little strips, also from a freezer bag. Our waitress was very sweet though and agreed that the new items, especially the rice, aren't great. This was my first visit to louie's, I enjoyed it! Our waitress Jennifer was absolutely amazing. Very nice woman, checked on us frequently, made sure all of are request were fulfilled.. There's a lot of OU pride in here, I didn't expect much decor. It's a bar... not a fine dinning restaurant, therefore I rated it as such! They have a lot of TVs playing various sports. The restaurant is on one side, the bar on another. One thing I loved about this experience is when we ordered my favorite drink LEMON DROP. The bartender actually came to our table for clarification of what we wanted. A lot of people use a sweet n sour mixture which takes away from the actual LEMON drop. I like my lemon drops by the book! Fresh lemons(I'll settle for lemon juice if needed), triple sec, vodka (Tito's for me) and simple syrup! Now to the food! Best appetizer platter I've had in awhile. We indulged in fried pickles, boneless wings and queso! The queso is delicious, fried pickles yummy! Boneless wings very tasty. As you see in the picture we ate it all. I ordered grilled salmon, rice pilaf and steamed veggies. The salmon exceeded my expectations by far. Nicely cooked, seasoned well the fresh green onions gave it a refreshing taste. Only complaint the steamed veggies, I could tell they were frozen they needed to be steamed just a little more. The ghost burger woooo very hot lol. I knew it would be, I had to take bite for Yelp. My nephew is such a daredevil! If you like spicy go for the ghost, it's good and SPICY! Lastly the EL Diablo reminded me of a Philly cheesesteak. The food was awful. I got the triple platter. I got queso and chips, wings, and pretzels. The pretzels were super hard and sent back. When I got them back they were warm and soft. After a couple minutes they were rock hard again. This only happens when you microwave bread. The wings you can tell were frozen at some point and you mushy. The only thing decent was the chips and queso. My S/O got a pizza which had no red sauce on it at all. We ordered some on the side which fixed it. The quality is poor and I'm not super crazy about having microwave food. I can do that at home. read more

We came here because all the other bar and grills in the area had a happy hour that ended at 6 o'clock, my coworkers and I weren't able to meet up until 630 so we felt this place was ideal because they had a later happy hour time.. When we first walked in I noticed two people smoking heavily in the bar, being from California, we have not had smoking indoors for the past 40 years there and to see people smoking in a bar was quite a shock, not only was it a shock, two people basically affected the 25 people that were in the bar that weren't smoking.... I don't see the problem with smokers going outside to smoke so you don't affect the other patrons eating and drinking in the establishment, makes zero sense to me to accommodate one percent of your customer base.... The second issue I had with this place was the waitress was very ill-informed on the food and the drink specials. We arrived at 6:30 and ordered a round, she did not return to the table until 705 and then she had the nerve to tell us that happy hour was over... *** as a waitress you would think that you would want to serve as many drinks as possible, especially during happy hour to get the tips. Not only did she not advise us of the happy hour time she did not even check on us until the happy hour was over.... So two of us ordered the pizza and it came out relatively fast, under 10 minutes. The pizza was very doughy and it look like all the toppings have been thrown on after the pizza came out of the oven.... One of the drink specials my coworker ordered was that pineapple special, it tasted like pineapple upside down cake and 3 pounds of sugar.. we return the drink after only taking a few sips advising the waitress that it was way too sweet and we did not like it. She stated OK took the drink... we ordered another round of regular Jack and cokes.. So when it came time for the check, the waitress did not even take the pineapple sugary whatever drink off the bill and charged us nine dollars for it even though only one sip was taken out of it and we returned it,.. Not only was the food subpar, the service was very below average ... and the atmosphere was not very inviting, mainly due to the fact that the guy next to us was smoking like a chimney.... Personally my bill alone came out to $68, my other two coworkers was around $40 and $50.... And I am not the type of person to not tip even though the service experience was bad, however I did not tip because of the bad experience and the lack of attention our server paid to us .... Being new out to Oklahoma, I've visited a handful of restaurants in the moore Oklahoma City area and this type of service and quality seems to be a trend out this way. SO MUCH FOR SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY...Maybe I just have to get used to it, but then again they're just gonna have to used to not getting tips from this California kid .... read more

The ambiance is your typical restaurant nothing special. Great if you want to watch a game without a crazy crown on a typical day. The service is usually decent, never had a complaint at any of their locations. The food Is good. The pepperoni pizza is usually our go to. I used to order their chicken pesto sandwich when it was on the menu. Delish. Tried their American burger on a gluten free bun. AH-MAZING. First time trying gluten free bread and theirs did not disappoint. Definitely recommend, even if not gluten free. Gave the burger so much more flavor. 10/10 read more

Aww, I really wanted to give this place more stars -- because the customer service was pretty good -- but I can't. After a night out without the kiddos, my hubby and I decided to give a place on this strop a try. When we first walked into Louie's, we were instantly greeted with wall-to-wall smoke. Luckily, it mostly came from the bar so we were able to sit on the restaurant side. The setup is pretty standard: booths and tables and chairs. (For the record, our booth seats were a bit messy, but thank God for napkins.) Our waitress was good (nothing more, nothing less), and she handed us our menus and took our drink orders. Judging but the affordable price of the menu, I wasn't expecting Four Seasons quality, but the food was very interesting. For starters, my chicken Caesar salad had a tasty dressing, but the chicken was rubbery, as if it was cooked earlier that day and then reheated in the pan. Most of the pieces were tough to chew. My husband ordered some type of burger that looked like Thor rested his hammer on top. It was quite sloppy, but something to hit the spot. The French fries were classic pub style, nothing more or less. All in all, this place is likely great for people who are looking for a casual bite and something to put in their stomachs after drinking. The ambiance and quality of food doesn't scream date night, but who knows, it might tickle your fancy. Having been to the Louie's locations in Norman since they first opened years ago, and having nothing but positive experiences at both, I expected more of the same at this Louie's in Moore, as we were looking for a place to have dinner before going to the Warren for a movie. Unfortunately, it was not to be. The food was terrible. The BBQ chicken pizza was practically flavorless. The fish and chips were below the standards of even Long John Silver's. The atmosphere lacked everything that make the Norman locations great. It seemed like a poor knockoff of a quality product. Boring, bland strip mall decor, serving bland, boring food. Day six of our road trip to San Diego, stop 2. We arrived in Oklahoma City after making good time from our short stop at the Pig Out Palace in Henryetta, OK and ready to relax. Being on the road for six days now has made us feeling lethargic, scummy, and in desperate need of some other activity besides playing word association and fruitlessly scanning through the FM dial. Good for us our Oklahoma City hosts are not the kind that can be kept inside. Mike and Kay were gracious hosts and after we drank some of their Crown, we all headed out to a local spot. The suburbs of Oklahoma City are littered with new and old strip malls, and we ended up at Louie's, close to Mike and Kay's home and right on the busy service road to I-35. It was Sunday night, February 14, Valentine's Day. I wasn't sure if every spot in the city was going to be packed, but Mike and Kay thought of the perfect spot for us to have time enough to chat without too much distraction. Louie's Grill & Bar is the spot where I'd take people after work for good drink and good food, a place that will have the game on without it being the focus of the room. No smoking in the dining room, a good menu with something for everyone, and friendly staff and management. Easy going atmosphere with nothing in the way of a couple or a group getting down to some good times. Sarah and I split the veggie pizza and it was perfect for our new "let's try not to eat the whole house" attitude. The garlic salt on the crust was a neat addition. I'm a pizza freak, and I'm a fan. I was a bit jealous of Kay's rueben, it looked all corn beefy and krauty and great. Well, good times at Louie's Grill & Bar. My first visit to this chain was not impressive. Food taste was one-dimensional and although I ordered the burger without a bun (gluten-free), they failed to add the mayo. I waited at least 3-5 minutes for a side of mayo. Restaurant wasn't even busy so the negligence was huge. The manager tried to make it up to me by bringing me a frozen lemonade. I asked if it was made with corn syrup (I'm also corn-free), so I guess he ventured off to find out but never made it back. He probably gave up on winning me over. Not possible. Possibly the only place in Norman and Moore that wasn't very busy on OU game day. Overall, the service didn't wow me. We were seated immediately after walking in but waited for menus and drinks for much longer than we should have. They did let us change from a table to a booth and I was very happy about this because a large, loud group of people sat right behind us. The food, on the other hand, was better than the service. I had the chips and queso as an appetizer. Be warned that the queso is very spicy. For my entrée, I have the bacon ranch burger with a side of fries which was excellent. **UPDATED ** service has been absolutely terrible lately in the bar area. It actually made me lower my star rating and change my views on this place. It shouldn't take 8 minutes to serve water when it's dead. No excuses for that, plus it took 10 minutes before we ever saw the waitress and she walked by us 3 times and helped others first who sat down after us....I could understand if it was packed. But it wasn't. So it's going to be a long time before we go back!! My first complaint before this updated review was how the wait staff acted towards me when they noticed my husband wasn't eating alone. That was serval months ago before last night's issue. We had been back after that and service seemed to have gotten better. But Sadly last night proved us wrong again.
