We ordered thru their website which then turned out to go through doordash anyway, so that was weird. But DoorDash wouldn't allow a selection of chicken or not-chicken on one of the options we were trying to order. Anyways, the food was well packaged and smelled and looked good. Problem was, we couldn't tell which sandwich was the buffalo one and which was the regular one. Visually they seemed the same and didn't smell different. Only differentiation was the descriptions online, maybe the fried chicken one was slightly bigger/different toppings. The sandwiches tasted good, however, I think we both ended up with the vegan "chicken" ones, even though we ordered the non-vegan options. This was disappointing, while they tasted fine they just weren't what we wanted. Fries were good. The small peach pie was absolutely tiny, maybe a few bites worth and it must have been the lemongrass that seemed to overpower it (I thought it might be ginger at first). read more

The aren't sufficient words to describe how delicious the food is, and the pictures don't do it justice. From the sandwich to the fries and even the lemonade, everything was so good!!! Have seen this cute little yellow chicken truck tucked away on my adventures. Finally stopped by today. Holy crap! If I could give it ten starts I would! I had been wanting to try Chicken Crossing (as a long time vegetarian who loves substitutes) since it opened here in Eugene, and finally made it happen yesterday -- and was NOT disappointed! Incredibly cute ambiance despite the location, easy to find nearby parking and fast moving line. I had the Marionberry Lemonade, vegan tenders and the tots and absolutely inhaled everything, which all has a super yummy sort of Cajun spice to it. My partner had the vegan Buffalo sandwich and absolutely loved it! Best part of all was the superb service, which is really why I'm doing this review -- both gentlemen at Chicken Crossing were a total delight, and then even gave us a free popcorn bag and a sandwich token when our tots weren't ready right away with the rest of the food. Overall the chicken was really yummy, I had the chicken sammich. There's a few things I wasn't too fond of but that's just my personal tastes. There were these little pepper corn balls or something like that in the slaw and it made a bitter off taste in my mouth is wasn't a fan of. A mechanical flaw was getting it into my mouth not so much an issue but a preference once again.
