    4 pc tender dinner
    Billy V.

Use to go here all the time in highschool then they closed for a little while I dont remember why but im glad it reopened. It's in a area where it's hard to get in and out of but there's parking in the back. I always order ahead then pick it up. The price is reasonable and taste pretty basic but the seasoning on the fries and the mambo sauce makes up for it. The guy who owns the place is very nice ive never had a problem ordering here. There's a few chairs inside you can eat there but I prefer to go

I love Chicken Basket. The food is always spot on and the service is always great. I usually get the Chicken tenders and fries but today, chose something different. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS

4 Chicken Strips Specials All Day
    Jessica L.

I drive by here daily and the smell of the chicken always gets my belly grumbling and calls my name. Today, I finally had a chance to stop by quickly. I was in the mood for some chicken strips... lucky for me it's on the daily special menu. Even luckier for me was they are huge, juicy and nothing but meat!! I was very surprised by the size and quality. It's hard these days to get decent chicken strips. Worth it and I will definitely be back to try some of the of fare. It's a clean cafe style seating. Good for quick stops or to go.

    6 strip chicken dinner

(Friday 3/1/2024 visit) Saturday 12/23/2023 I made a takeout order through Uber eats and got the 6 strip dinner (comes with fries, bread, and coleslaw) $13 and a 4 piece chicken (wing, thigh, leg, and a breast) $9. 1 also got mumbo sauce, honey mustard, bbq sauce, and hot sauce. The service was pretty good: they were kind and made sure I was completely set with everything that I needed (sauces, utensils, and napkins). I wasn't a fan of the chicken strips. The texture and taste reminded me of those store bought Tysons frozen chicken nuggets that come with no crisp to them. The fries were decent & crispy but would've been even better with more seasoning on them. The fried chicken by the peice was great: very crispy and juicy. The mumbo sauce was by far the best sauce they had and it's without a doubt the best mumbo sauce that I've ever had. For the other sauces: honey mustard was decent, hot sauce was okay, and the boq sauce was underwhelming & not very good. Overall, I had a decent experience with chicken basket (chicken strips aside) and I would recommend and be open to returning in the future.

Best fried chicken in town! This chicken basket has stayed true to the name chicken basket, I love the service and how I'm treated every time I order, it's like a nice family feel walking into this place. Please keep up the great work.

The place is good, you just have to ask carefully about the combo and how the fries come

Is this place still open? Dropped by a couple of times and they were closed

The restaurant caught fire and they had to close. I'm assuming once they fix all the damage they will reopen

On this visit, we both got selections like what we had around our early times of visiting this spot. I cannot remember what my friend got, but I ordered one of the "Feasty Specials" which had 1/2 Snow Crab Legs and 1/2 Headless Shrimp. It came with sausages (sliced in pieces), 1 Corn (about 1/4 size), 1 Egg, and 2 Potatoes (the skin easily comes off). You get to pick the seasoning and I had Old Bay. What is presented to you is a large clear bag, steamed up and tied, with seasonings and all mixed up. It is served on a metal tray, and they also place an empty bowl on your table for discarding things. Plastic bib was on, bag opened, and I was ready to dig in. The seasoning took me back to my second visit a few years ago. It was when I first tasted their Old Bay mix and became a fan of it. This Feasty Special was just enough and I was glad to switch things up for a change.

Overall, the food is good, and, in our opinion, you do get what you pay for. Keep in mind that they DO charge you if you have leftover food on your table when you are done. Be mindful of that and make sure to let them know as you are finishing up, and want more, to scale down your portion size. There is a 90-minute window to eat. The servers don't really go over the menu much, so if it is your first time for all you can eat, make sure to take notice that the crab legs do come with a few different flavor options. The bad - They started a new policy, which I understand, but do not like. If you want all you can eat, everyone who is at the table must all order it as well, or nobody can. I understand they are protecting their profits, but that has taken us away from this place on more than one occasion to eat elsewhere as some wanted it and another family members wanted to order off the main menu. Also, service can be extremely slow, and I am not sure if it is intentional or not, but we have complained more than once and made them extend our time. Last time we went, they set our first order of food down on the table and as we were eating, the waitress walked by no less then 5 times and didn't bother to ask if we wanted anything else. Then, magically, when our food was gone, we could not get anyone to come to the table for 15 minutes. Upon ordering our next round, it took another 20 more minutes for the food to arrive. They are sticklers about the 90-minute time frame, and we explained that twice this has happened and 60 minutes of our 90 minutes was wasted waiting on a server and then the food took forever. They allowed us one more round of food, which we appreciated and thought was fair. We start a stopwatch now and if we feel things are going slow, we address that with the server and sometimes put in a new order when the food is being dropped off. Overall, we are pleased to come here a few times a year. We only get all you can eat and usually are happy when we leave. The food is inconsistent as we do get the lobster tail with all you can eat, and it is usually overcooked and can chew like rubber, but still has good flavor. The crab legs sometimes come out waterlogged with salt, but most times piping hot. This is your typical "average" 3-star restaurant. If you are prepared to spend the money for all you can eat, you will leave satisfied and full, but never will you think "I wish I could come here every week". I have not ordered specific entrees off the regular menu so I cannot speak on portion size or quality of the food by ordering that way. Staff is always pleasant, but you do need to get on them if they are slacking.

I had visited Ayse Meze Lounge in Frederick, but their King Farm location is excellent. The service was very good. Luke was our server and he was warm and welcoming. We started off the meal with fried artichokes and saganaki. Both dishes were delicious. The artichokes were cooked perfectly and the saganaki melted in your mouth. Then, we both had lamb chops. They were served with fingerling potatoes and some eggplant and tomato stew. The lamb was tender and full of flavor. The potatoes were crisp and tasty. For dessert, we had the chocolate cake with coffee ice cream. It was fabulous. So, from appetizers to dessert it was a memorable meal. " Opa!"

I selected it from the box of tea selections, which I see has some different selections from the last time I was here (like that there is some variety). Enjoyed my selection. For food, I got their King Burger. Menu description stated it is on a brioche bun with Ayse aioli, beef patty, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, and red onion. Our server didn't ask how I wanted it cooked, so I shared my preference with them. It came out how I wanted it. The burger comes with hand-cut French Fries or an Ayse side salad. I got it with fries even though I left a lot behind on my plate. The burger is tall in size. Before cutting my burger in half, I removed the onions since I'm not a fan of that overall. The burger was good. I also grabbed some dessert - Orange Yogurt Cake. Even though I have had it before, it didn't taste the same but was manageable. Was it missing something? I'm not sure. I may stick to something different next time. Note: Be aware that if you ask for extra bread (beyond what is initially complimentary), you will be charged for it. My friend was not informed of this when they asked for extra.

Although I had been to the Rio before, it had been quite some time, so finding the restaurant was a bit difficult, but we eventually made it. We arrived shortly after noon, and the restaurant was quiet, with only one other table occupied. The hostess greeted us, showed us to our table, and started us off with water. Shortly after, our server, Mary, came by to take our food and drink orders. Since it was our first visit, we asked for recommendations, and everything she suggested was excellent. My usual Appletini was good, although it tasted more like vodka than apple. The jumbo lump crab dip, while a bit small in portion, was absolutely delicious and packed with crab and perfectly paired with the sesame baguette. Mary also recommended the shrimp and chicken tenders basket, which was another great choice. My only critique would be to cut the chicken tenders into smaller, bite-sized pieces, as they were quite large and, combined with the crunchy batter, a bit difficult to eat. However, the flavor was spot on. The menu is extensive, including a wide variety of drinks and oysters from different regions. Although I spent more than expected, I would consider visiting again in the future.
