I would have to agree about the average 3 stars rating. We had about 20 wings and they were all tough. We're also had the buffalo chicken sangwich. They give you 3 or 4 boneless wings in a sangwich. Not too bad. Price was just right for what I got. You make it a meal and get fries and a huge drink. About$10 bucks. This was ok for a quick, small meal. Staff was nice. Place was clean. We are new to the area and saw this place and we tried it for the first time today 8/24/22. I got the fish plate which come with 2 pieces of catfish, large amount of fries, coleslaw and a big cup for fountain drink which is self serve. Had the fried cauliflower twice as a pick up order during covid-19 and I was very pleased. I asked them if they could toss them in the sauces they have for wings and was informed that if the cook could they will. Luckily, the cook could! The first time they tossed them in lemon pepper and the second time in hot. They were perfectly breaded and fried. Some fried cauliflower I have ordered at other places had raw batter inside between the florets, this was not the case here. Mcdonough location is terrible! The employee we dealt with today was indifferent and rude.

I passed by this place several times and decided to stop in. Their wings are great and this is now my new go to place for wings.

Wished I could give zero stars!!! On Monday 10/30 I alerted my wife about 10 minutes before my arrival to call the order in. I arrived at 715 the pick up window and they could not find the order.....during the search my wife called me and told me she had been on hold for over 10 minutes. They looked at the phone and one employee looked at the other employee and said - "she has been on hold". I said I could just tell them my order - the other Employee said "we cannot take orders at the window". The first employee relayed the message I had heard and started to close the window. I said " that is ridiculous- why not take my order - I am not coming in". She said " ok have a nice night". At no time was there an apology or concern from these 2 employees!! Will not be spending my $20-$30 a visit there any longer. I guess it is our fault they cannot answer a call that was placed on hold. read more

So don't ask for the sauce you want tossed on the side and expect to get a blue cheese or Ranch to dip it in unless you want to pay $0.37 per sauce with each order.. I'm Mexican and my husband is African American, we've each ordered by ourselves and have never had any issues/feelings etc. I think that the ladies who work here are young (which usually is an inexperienced thing), and that may be what people are feeling. Honestly speaking, we eat here at least 3 times a week, because it's that good. Our kids even like it, and they're picky AF . Anyhow, all I say is to give it a chance. I never have written a review but this order was so badly screwed up that I must. Someone in my family places this same order at least 2-3 times a month for various events. We've had minor issues in the past with this same location but nothing that would warrant a review. This time however, it was such a fiasco that I must! My order was for their Family Special 50 Wings. With that you get 1 box of fries, celery and dressing, and a gallon of tea. We ordered an extra box of fries as well. We split the wings with 2 different sauces. They placed 30 lemon pepper wings extra wet in 1 box, put the other 10 extra wet in the same box and on top of the Buffalo wings. How do you put extra wet wings of another flavor on top, with only a short sheet of something like wax paper but much thinner in between? The 2 sauces merged together - of course. The extra box of fries was not included. The gallon of tea had a crack in the plastic by the opening therefore when leaving the restaurant, it turned over and leaked in my vehicle. Upon calling and asking for the manager, this person told us we could come get the extra fries and 10 wings for our trouble - as if I made a mistake, not them! The Jodeco Road location is by far the best franchise. I will make the longer trip from now on as this location is a disaster. Good luck if you decide to risk it. read more

I have visited several times and several times my order has been incorrect from leaving out items to not preparing items correctly. The funny thing is management is usually relected to accept blame for mistakes. Its always the customers fault either you weren't correct in your ordering or the cook did it right and its your fault you don't like it. So beware...check your order and check your ordering of your order because their motto is the customer is always wrong. I am a big fan of Chick-N-Run. This location needs to step their game up. The floors were dirty and sticky, tables, chairs, everything dirty. We were there when they first opened, so you would think it would have been cleaned the night before. I had the catfish sandwich which was terrible. May as well been a fish filet from McDonald's. My wife had the buff chicken sandwich that she enjoyed. I always enjoy their chicken too but just wanted something different. I will NEVER return here! First time customer and the customer service was HORRIBLE. I drove up to the window and was told it was a pick up window only which was not a problem. After getting the phone number from the cashier, I literally called (same young lady answers the phone) while pulling away from the window and parking directly across from it. Placed my order for a Southern BLT combo meal (has fried green tomatoes) and was told it would be 15-20 min. After 20 min, I pull back up to the window to be told by another worker that they were out of fried green tomatoes. I asked why no one called me since I had to provide my call back number, not to mention I was parked right across from the window. The girl that took my order lied stating she had attempted to call and I didn't answer. She finally admitted someone was on the phone and she hadn't called (she never came to the window). I'm speaking to the manager at this point who stated there was nothing she could do regarding the inconvenience. The manager also stated, "I don't why she allowed you to order that knowing we were out of green tomatoes." The only solution they offered was to put red tomatoes or cancel my order, with a shoulder shrug at that. Not to mention I'd asked if I could substitute the fries for onion rings, and was not informed there was a upcharge to do so. I have frequented chick n run mcdonough for a long time and never had an issue until November 18,2019. I purchased a gallon of sweet tea on November 16, 2019 at 8:51pm. I left to go out of town on the same night at about 10pm. I returned home on Monday Nov 18, 2019 at 6:00pm. That's when I opened the gallon of "sweet" tea just to find out it wasn't sweet. So, i called chick n run and explained to them hey I have my receipt for the gallon of tea purchased on Friday, I just opened it and realized its not sweet can i just get a replacement. I had also placed a phone order as well. Well, once I arrived to pick up my phone order I was told there is nothing we can do about the $4.55 gallon of "sweet" tea you purchased 2 days ago. REALLY!!! WOW!! My phone order was $13.90 and you lost a regular customer over $4.55, you also lost a food order of $13.90 which is 3 nearly times more than the $4.55 "sweet" tea. WOW!!
